How sad are you on a scale of 1-10 after engaging with them ?

I've tried searching for independent reviews and couldn't find any (i.e. reviews that are not on their website/socials). Would appreciate any thoughts! TIA!

Hey everyone!

I got my first set of aligners yesterday! One of the attachments on my high canine fell off while I was either eating or brushing my teeth. I'm not entirely sure when it happened, but when I checked later, only part of the attachment was still on the tooth.

I messaged my orthodontist, and they said it was okay and that they'd call me back, but they also told me to continue wearing my aligners in the meantime.

Has this happened to anyone else? Did it affect your treatment progress or the final shape and alignment of your teeth?

Implant in my top front tooth couldn’t be moved, but still happy with the results .. bottom teeth were rough looking back

I’m on week 2 and really need another way to clean the aligners besides brushing them. I’m low on money and wondering how the cleaning tablets vs the ultrasonic cleaner machine work and what is worth it.

Has anyone done Invisalign for aesthetics only? Not to fix your bite? Or will anyone even do that? Every time I have a dentist they say oh you should do Invisalign, so I go for a consult and I end up being told to have jaw surgery, and full braces, etc. I am in my 40s and I don't want to do all of that. I know my bite is messed up but I feel like I could have my top and bottom teeth straightened enough that it would make me feel better about my smile. I don't want to be walking around with a full mouth of metal braces for two years and I'm definitely not having my jaw relocated

Please find attached photos of my teeth at the beginning of Invisalign and after my final tray. Next step is to whiten them and get edge bonding on my four middle top teeth. Took me so long to get to this point!

I’m worried that my top 4 teeth aren’t tracking. Is it actually bad or am I overreacting? I’m using my chewies daily - what else can I do?! Tray 10/20

Hi Guys I’m From nyc I can’t wait to start wearing my aligner everything ready. I bought Mouthwashes, Travel Toothpaste all the kits need, but I need two little pieces of baby tooth extraction before start wearing Aligner, anyone have any Oral surgeon in Nyc accept Health-first Medicaid, I have been tried their in network doctors everyone has long waiting appointments 2-4 months later, Also Tried NYU and Columbia Oral surgeon still so long to waiting time. Anyone has experience extraction after wearing aligner do you feel any pain how long days later start wearing aligner?

How long did it take to get used to it? My teeth are soooo sore. Confused why they are sore since my scans were literally taken of my teeth after finishing treatment and i wore my clear retainer non stop until this retainer was made for me.

Hi, I’m on my first week of a 2 year journey with Invisalign but I also run marathons. The dilemma is fueling on longer training runs. I’m running 5 days a week. Some runs exceed 4 hours.

I’m hoping to get some feedback from others who have done this. How did you manage your trays and fueling? Do you take it out for hours at a time to run, or find a way to leave them in and eat / use electrolights on runs with the trays in?

My dentist recommended getting a permanent wire behind my teeth at the end of my treatment to prevent any slight movement, as well as wearing a removable retainer.

For anyone who has one, would you recommend it? Is it comfortable, and do you notice it much? Also, do you have to keep the wire for the rest of your life?

Would love to hear your experiences and any pros/cons!

Can you get Invisalign and later get jaw surgery for overbite?

I went to 2 orthodontist consultations and got 2 different treatment plans. Unilateral posterior crossbite as an adult. My jaw clicks when I open wide. No Ortho as a child. I'm not so concerned about aesthetics since I think my smile is generally fine, just preventing future jaw and tooth issues when I'm older.

Option 1 includes MARPE + Invisalign and is very expensive. They told me my upper jaw/palate is too narrow (a couple of mm) and would benefit from expansion.

Option 2 said I could get away with Invisalign + elastics. They said my mouth size is fine and since it's only on 1 side and I don't have breathing issues that Invisalign would be sufficient.

Both stated that my jaw closing/positioning is shifted because of the crossbite (or along those lines, sorry, memory isn't perfect).

Has anyone had success with just Invisalign for posterior crossbite due to their jaw size?

Tray 17/37, about halfway done. Crazy before, orthodontist said the teeth are tracking well up to this point, I had an attachment removed for some reason. The canines are a bit tricky but coming down fairly nicely. Looking forward to this being done but don’t mind them.

That said, once you get used to them, they really aren’t that bad.

My initial order of trays fit good everywhere except the top tray was kind of “bouncy” in the front according to the ortho. They rescanned and had me keep progressing in what I have but changing at 10 days instead of 7. Anyone else had this? Do they just find the tray that kind of corresponds to where you are at in the new batch when they arrive since you have progressed since the scan?

I have been doing Invisalign since last August/September. I just finished my first trays of refinement the end of this September I’m still not thrilled with the results. When I went to my dentist, I was told he’s moving ~2 hours from me, so there’s no feasible way I could continue to be his patient. After that visit, him and his staff told me I’m going to get a full refund (about $3,000). I’m now stuck trying to find an orthodontist, and when I called my original Invisalign dentist for some of my treatment files, I was told I “may not get the refund” so now I’m scrambling trying to find treatment again AND potentially need to pay and additional $3,000. The new orthodontist I visited today told me it’s looking like I’ll need regular braces for another 18 months. I’m just completely devastated and lost. I’m going for a second opinion in a few weeks but I’m basically in limbo. Any advice would be so appreciated. Has anyone else been in this position before? ☹️

What are the odds yall think I could use like denture glue on my Invisalign to attach vampire teeth to them? I was thinking of just fully glueing them on bc I’m changing to my next trays two days after Halloween but ideally denture glue would still come off??

Hi all.

I removed my wisdom teeth on the right side, and today I went to the clinic and they teached me how to use the aligners.

All is good, but now I've noticed that my aligners go over the "empty space"of the wisdom teeth and they keep poking my cheek on the bottom, I'm worried it might start to hurt at some point. Now it's just annoying because I keep touching it with my tongue.

Is this normal? I removed the teeth at an invisalign clinic after the scan was made.

Hi All before and after pics. Pretty happy with how the top have straightened up but was hoping for a better result at the bottom. Do you think with refinements they will be able to get the bottom much straighter? My next appointment is to decide if I want refinements or taken off. I’m thinking definitely refinements, would you say I could get refinements at the top and bottom? Thanks in advance!

Did you get charged again for another refinement? My ortho said because I reschedulded the next/following appointment two times (because of sickness) and how this is seen as non-compliance (since now 5-6 months passed since the last appointment, but I had the trays still in and they fitted fine), they quoted me another 2000 for another needed refinement round.

Is this normal?
