A lot of IDRP battles usually boil down to good vs. Evil, there isn't often much room for nuance and other stuff like that

But I really want to see a moment or two in this sub where good guys and bad guys put aside their differences to take on a common threat

So I ask, which heroes and villains do you want to see work together in IDRP

It was teased a bit with the Necrozma fight, but there would be awesome visual spectacles if Frieza and Cyn fought side by side. Yellow and purple has been shown to mix very well time and time again, and I visualized a cool power move where they throw a NULL and a Death Ball at the same time

Note: be creative. Mix and match characters from different series and see who would have a cool dynamic if they had to join forces

I realize that this would likely be better on the vent sub or in the GCs, but I feel like I wanted to address the entire sub with this. Nangangamusta, as they call it where I'm from.

I know I've been away a lot, and...to tell you the truth, it's been draining. Not the act of cramming every single activity, or the last-minute review sessions before a quiz. It's the sitting-at-home, waiting for something to happen...and instead of being here with you, I mostly spend my downtime doing other stuff, like Roblox and doomscrolling. But, yeah, like most other things in my life right now, I'm seeking to make an improvement on that. I realize that you guys are just as much my friends as my IRL ones, and...well, we're too deep into this sub to just ignore that. After all, it's been about 8 months since the sub's founding, so we're mostly pretty well-acquainted. And for the people who aren't: Hey! I'm u/DR31141. Not exactly a founding member, but I've definitely been hanging around this place for a while.

So, in essence: I wanna tell you guys how I've been doing, and maybe you can tell me how you guys are doing, both in-sub and IRL! For me, it's been this wild whirlwind of reviewing after group project after seatwork after assignment after quiz; but I've found it pretty enjoyable thus far. I've really found my stride academically, and I'm not forcing myself to not be alone every second of every day. Finding my own little hidey-hole for me was something I thought would crush me, but I've kind of learned to accept the silence. It helps to clear my mind and stuff. Plus, I watched Shin Godzilla in theaters, so that was sick-

Even though I wanted to tell Dawn story to completion, I unfortunately can't at the moment. Life has been unkind to me and has kept me busy for the past few days, making me focus more on them and leaving me with little free time. So I'm announcing a bit of a break/hiatus.

Anyways yeah I know I said I wouldn’t post cause vacation and whatever, but I wrote this at like midnight in the hotel and it’s a character info post. I don’t have to respond to actual RP comments!

I’ve wanted to make a character trivia/head canons post for a while now but never got around to it. I decided I’d lump it in with this. It’ll be a long one so strap in! Sections will be labeled so if you just wanna read a certain part, go ahead!

Angel info:

Name: Grant F’skal (Grant as in a grant from the bank and F’skal is pronounced fiscal as in fiscal year)

Occupation: Accountant for the Angel’s of Demiss

Age: Around 5000 years old (as old as the first currency, which in this case is Mesopotamian Shekels)

Mental age: early 40’s or late 30’s (His position has mentally aged him a bit compared to some of his siblings.)

Sexuality: Whatever’s cheapest (this is all your getting lol)

Personality: Overworked and underpaid, the angel of accounting is definitely one of the more morally grey angels. He finds the antics of the Hub’s residents and his siblings to be quite entertaining when they aren’t costing Demiss millions in property damage everyday.

But due to being so focused in on his job, he presents himself as extremely professional, which usually comes off as quite cold. In reality, he truly does care, but his firm belief that professionalism comes first has stunted his ability to present emotions effectively. He’s especially bad at comforting people in emotional situations. So he usually prefers to stay out of it and let his more emotionally intelligent siblings handle things.

He’s quite stressed, simply due to his job constantly requiring attention. He also silently hopes people don’t hate him, as he’s usually the guy who has to be the “fun police” and reign things in when it gets too expensive. This surely hasn’t helped with his stress, and it’s caused him to actually physically age slightly.

But even still, Grant does care deeply for his siblings, and does enjoy a relaxing moment every now and again! So it’s not too bad. At least that’s what he reasons.

Grant’s powers:

Money summon: Grant can summon money to himself and even imbue it with energy for powerful attacks.

Teleportation: Grant’s preferred method of travel. Each teleport costs the GDP of Lichtenstein. Yes that’s a reference.

Flight: Grant can fly. He just never does because he says it’s “Too flashy.” And “unprofessional”.

High intellect: idk if this counts as a power or not but I’m throwing it here anyways. Basically, Grant is a human calculator. On top of that, he’s also quite well read. This makes him very intelligent and good at solving more practical problems.

There’s definitely more but these are the ones I’ve actually thought out.

Fun facts about Grant:

- Grant wasn’t actually always so stressed out. Back when he first came about, he was actually quite relaxed and did take things to seriously. His younger siblings wouldn’t remember this though, as this only lasted around 500 years. Then people started getting a little more complicated with their money. And it hasn’t gotten any easier since.

- Grant’s favorite drink is hot cocoa. It’s quite relaxing for him. In fact, he loves it so much that it’s one of the VERY few things he’ll actually buy more expensive, higher quality product of.

- Grant’s design is heavily inspired by Higuruma from JJK. That may have been obvious, or maybe it wasn’t. But what I know wasn’t obvious is that Grant’s “crooked smile” is based off my own! That’s right! Your boy’s smile has been described as “Crooked” and “Looking like you’ll cut someone”. I don’t mind this at all btw. I honestly think it’s funny! But yeah, I decided that fit the bill for Grant’s character.

- Grant has a severe case of resting bitch face. I’ve mentioned this a lot but might as well throw it here too.

- Grant’s favorite cartoon character is Scrooge McDuck. You can probably guess why.

- Grant is aware of all my characters. His personal favorite of my roster is Allison, solely because she is the sanest of the bunch.

Character trivia/head canons:

Alice Angel head canon: Anytime Alice wants to call something pretty, she must call it “Beautiful” as she is so obsessed with chasing beauty, she doesn’t have any other words in her vocabulary for describing it. I’ve made sure to translate this into RP, although I doubt it’s ever been noticed.

Allison AND Cartoon Alice Angel head canon: Now the polar opposite of Alice, Allison and Toon Alice must never use the word “Beautiful” to describe something. They must use “pretty” or “mesmerizing” or literally any other variation of the word. Again, I doubt anyone has ever noticed this, as it’s a really random detail. I just do it to highlight the difference between cycle Alice and the more “pure” versions of Alice Angel

Sammy and Alice head canon: Both Sammy and Alice refuse to call Porter and Heidi by name, instead opting to simply refer to them as “Lost One(s)”. This is because, since most lost ones are insane and both kill them on mass, Sammy and Alice view them as inferior.

Porter trivia: I once tried to write angst for Porter. I was gonna do something with his “Lost One” side starting to creep in, making him violently lash out at random. I never ended up doing this though, because I hated it. Since then, I’ve made a rule that I am not allowed to write Porter angst. His character is developed enough. It would serve no purpose anyways. Although you can actually see remnants of this idea if you go back to my “Porter fighting game voice lines” post. In it, I gave him “Rare voice lines” that were much more violent than his standard lines.

Bon joke head canon: I have a joke head canon with Bon where he just relentlessly bullies Susan in Wonderland because he can. This is made even funnier by the fact that Bon stuffed Susan into the Banny animatronic, and cartoon Bon is well known to bully cartoon Banny for no reason. Again, this is just a joke and doesn’t actually pop up in actual RP. Although in any non-canon stuff, I love doing this.

Lorenzo head canon: this requires a bit of context to fully grasp so just bear with me. In Return of the Pumpkin Rabbit, Lorenzo is supposed to be fat, according to the creators. This led to me and Jess making a joke that Rachel, Lorenzo’s wife, is a “chubby chaser” and likes Lorenzo fat. Then it just kinda… bled into our actual RP. I think it’s fucking hilarious and honestly makes the two even more fun. As for the head canon I have for Lorenzo though, it’s just that he has no idea Rachel is actively trying to keep him fat/fatten him more. Like this dude gets extra portions of dinner all the time and thinks nothing of it. He just likes his wife’s cooking too much to think about it.

Allison and Tom head canon: This one is probably one of if not my closest to actual canon head canon. It’s that Tom and Allison never got to have a proper wedding due to the studio being the way it is, and Allison sometimes fantasizes about what an actual wedding for them might’ve looked like.

Toon Alice Angel trivia: Toon Alice actually likes being cat called. She thinks it’s funny, and it feeds her ego a bit. She may even indulge it slightly, as she’s gone as far as a kiss on the cheek in the Bendy comics.

Doc trivia: Typing Doc’s accent is a pain in my ass! Does this even count as trivia? Probably not but I felt like saying it. (I do still enjoy doing it tho)

She expected to be reunited with her husband and daughter in the afterlife, after saving gaster from the rubble…

But nothing happened…

She didn’t feel any pain…

Or the rubble falling on her…

They were fighting the hammer of justice… Also known as Gerson Boom, they had died, many times, days in their mind they’d been counting… But they came back, for their own perseverance wouldn’t let them go down… They’d died to hammers, shells, and everything under the sun.

And then Gerson… Spared them?

“Finally you’re seeing reason you old dumbass…! I changed, I won’t kill anyone again… Just let me go home!”

A hammer fell on their head… Not yet killing them… They had time left to think, but they couldn’t save themselves…

They’d spent their whole life running, first they ran to Mt. Ebott to escape their family and responsibilities… Then away from Toriel because they were scared to confront her… And now they’re cornered, dying. They couldn’t save anyone, the 4 kids who’d died before them… All gone, they’d never see their families..

Neither would September.
