For 1.5 hours ( part 1 and 2) i couldn't stop myself from laughing..... Such a great comedian...his one liners were on point, that way he drops pockets was insane....

This is the last set (standup comedians) of people I would have expected to be cheated by. So I attended Akal ke Ghode with my wife and won around 700 bucks as part of the winning group. We gave our upi IDs, filled the forms, and have also followed up multiple times - but still no response or action from Kaustubh or his team.

No one goes to these shows for money, but if this is a part of the show they have created and made us believe that we have won something, they should follow through on it.

I had been following Kaustubh since his early hustle days from the Patel Nagar studio but this is highly disappointing and forces me to unfollow his art.

Are there others in the same boat, with Kaustubh or any other show where comedians are not fulfilling what they promise.

As a Tamil guy married to a North Indian, I was excited to take my wife to this show in Europe. At the start of the show, as the only North Indian in the crowd I was sad that she was attacked and felt unwelcome just for being there. There was a whole rap song with video where he sang looking at her. "Why are you here? You make terrible Tamil depiction in movies. Stop Hindi imposition". I understand smart political humour but this just felt like a cheap shot. This was her exact same experience while studying in uni too in TN. There always needs to be a balance and if there is no self deprecating humour about Chennai or TN it shows you still live in the 90s. None of his instagram posts were vitriolic or have political content either. The rest of the show was genuinely funny and he was occasionally translating some Tamil sentences for my wife too in Hindi.

Comedy is supposed to bring together all cultures and especially abroad where people live far away from their homes feel at home in your set. This is not even about political correctness.

Guys can I take my parents to rajat sood show? Is he a clean comedian? I like his sets a lot. He sometimes do say unclean things in his unscripted videos and some panel shows. But his standup show is clean or not?

Hi guys! I am starting my career in standup comedy in delhi. I usually write random thoughts and then sit with them. A problem i am facing is that now i have a lot of premises that are not related to each other. I am not able to write minimum material in a single premise for a set. Can someone help me on how exactly do we write a set?
