Discussion Everyone tells you to read books, but what happens to you after finishing a book if you have no one to talk to?
I'm not talking about casual reads, but books that have very deep impact on you. You feel elevated bcos you experienced reading something phenomenal but there's also this emptiness after finishing it.
I wish I could talk abt this with someone, but unfortunately I cannot share this precious feeling and thoughts and my analysis on what I have read. There's so much to say but no one to listen to....
So I keep thinking abt it, keep thinking abt it and keep on thinking... until my mind collapses. Whenever I'm having a shower, or in the bus or alone, I often talk to the voice inside my head. It's like I'm the author, I'm the reader, I'm the speaker and I'm the audience. And it's mentally exhausting with so many povs and what if and theories. And the worst part is I don't record or document my thoughts. And then I forget about it. Cant recall those arguments which I once had.
So my question is how do you deal with once you finish reading a book? Esp if you don't have anyone to discuss it with.

Reviews Looking 4 beta readers 4 my indian mythology ya fantasy (finished first draft)
Hey everyone, ive finished the first book of my ya fantasy series, the ansh chronicles, and im looking 4 a few readers to give honest feedback before i publish it.
its basically percy jackson but rooted in hindu mythology and the vedas. a boy with white blood he cant explain ends up at a school in another galaxy where kids of avatars and gods train. theres rakshasas, avatars, houses and a lot of friendship banter.
It’s around 53k words, 14 chapters plus a prologue. some peril and a battle but nothing graphic.
what i want to know is where the pacing drags, if the world and magic rules make sense, if the characters and friendships feel real, and anywhere u got bored or confused.
Readers who finish and send feedback get a thank you in the acknowledgements. i can send it as pdf or word by dm. if ur into ya fantasy or mythology and want to read it, comment or dm me, and tell me what u usually read

Ask Indian Readers Any smosh fans here?? Shayne dropped a video titled "Books"
Been fascinated about the books he has mentioned in regular smosh videos especially smosh mouth, was so happy when he announced this video and got great book recs
He did recommend mostly popular books but I'm still new to reading so it was still helpful, it also gave me insight on why one of my favourite youtuber likes those books
Got me thinking, are there any Smosh fans in india??
