🔎Research Advice / Help🔎 Nazi human experiments epq

hey guys, I plan on doing my epq on how ethical it is to use medical data from the Nazi huamn experiments. Ive tried to start resesrch, but am finding it’s all articles online, which my teacher for some reason opposes. I’ve looked at a few books but I was just wondering if anyone had any ideas? I doubt, with respect, anyone involved at the time would be alive (in the sense I would look for talks, or interviews), but does anyone know anything? thank you!

🔎Research Advice / Help🔎 Q: transcribing software

Hi! For my PhD project, I’m transcribing a large collection of letters written by children and their parents during the Second World War. Most are in German, though some mix German and Dutch because the children were beginning to forget their mother tongue.

Most of the letters are handwritten, which can make them difficult to decipher. Others are typed, but the set I’m currently working on was typed by a boy with a disability who made many typing errors and corrections, so these letters are also quite challenging to read.

I’ve tried using ChatGPT for transcription, but it that hallucinates too much, so I end up doing everything manually. I’ve also tried Transkribus, but haven’t had much success with it either.

Can anyone recommend software that might work better for this kind of material?
