So I was at work one day and I was just tired of my hair. It was dead. It would always tangle and knot straight after brushing, it was frizzy and just took forever to brush and de-shed, so I got my trauma sheers (very sharp strong scissors used to cut clothes and shoes off injured people). And hacked my hair off. I had an extra hair tie so I put it in to stop hair falling everywhere.

I always wear my hair in a ponytail anyway, so I'm not too fussed about how it looks when its down. But it only takes me 30 seconds to brush and throw back up in a pint tail now and i now get cool breezes on my neck.

I’m going to be Elastigirl this Halloween, and wanted to try this color on my hair, and I think it turned out pretty good😊

I want a copper color, warmer tones and make it look naturel. I already have my appointment set on next Friday. I wad wondering if anyone else had done such color over a brown like me?

My hairdresser mentioned a few months ago that my hair might still have some curl to it, and my hair is too heavy, which is why it doesn’t curl anymore.

Underneath does seem to have some curl. My curtain bangs will also curl.

I’m debating on whether I should go back to the stylist for this natural curl or not. My hair is quite fine, not too thin but not thick either. I don’t want it to look thinner or worse.

Why is this happening and what can I do

I’ve had bangs for a while now, but I’m experimenting a bit with different things. Dakota Johnson and Allison Brie are always my hair inspiration, and this time I wanted to try a bit shorter.. does this style suit my face and the rest of my hair? Could I try even a tiny bit shorter?

I got a haircut today, and while chatting with my hairstylist about my natural hair colour, she mentioned that she thinks I’d look good with some subtle highlights. She recommended trying a hair-lightening spray, which I’d never really heard of before, but I’m open to giving it a try!

Does anyone have any product recommendations or advice when it comes to these sprays? From the little research I’ve done so far, I’ve seen that they might not be the best for your hair’s health, so I’d love to hear about other people’s experiences with them!

Is it normal to lose this much hair, or even more? I'm literally writing this while crying!

About a week ago, my hair started falling out more and more, and it just won't stop! I'm now scared to even brush my hair because of how much hair I'm losing.

I gave birth 2 months and 20 days ago and I'm exclusively breastfeeding.

Can someone please tell me if this is normal or if I should be worried? During my last doctor's visit, my iron levels were excellent.

What should I do? Is there anything that can help reduce the hair loss? I'm really scared and don't know what to do anymore. 💔

Hi all. I just got nanoplasty yesterday and it was my first time getting any sort of straightening treatment done. I have very curly hair, coloured, and damaged. I did a lot of research before hand and saw before and after an and was finally convinced to spend the money.

The first night I kept it how it was, and was a little worried when I woke up and had really big kinks and dents in my hair. Lots of volume at the roots like I usually do with my natural hair.
Tonight was my first hair wash because I was excited to see how low-maintenance it would become. I’ve shampooed twice as I was told to, conditioned, blow dried. I’ve added my results. There’s some very wavy bits by my ear, and honestly it just looks so frizzy. Was I expecting a unicorn ? Does this look right ? I’m not saying nothing worked- considering I do have very curly hair and the result was definitely different, just not what I expected.

In the last few months my hair has started doing this really weird thing where the hair below my ears becomes super big and frizzy and feels very dry. It only happens in this spot on each side of my face and the rest of my hair is completely normal and it drives me crazy. I have a mullet/shag haircut with lots of layers so those areas where it happens are shorter. For some background, I have stopped getting my hair bleached and switched to getting a tint (I’m naturally blonde, I only need a bit of lift) and all the hair below the frizzy spots has been bleached and is thin and straight and all the hair above has been tinted and is healthier and has a bit more texture so maybe that has something to do with it?? I hate the way it looks so much so if anyone has any idea on why this might be happening and what i can do to fix it, that would be greatly appreciated!

So my hairstyles kinda like this, texture quite the same too, but the front and top is a little shorter so it has just enough length to be barely tucked behind my ears, but when I use wax, my hair NEVER listen to me, (THIS IS A SERIOUS PROBLEM AND I CANT GO ON LIKE THIS) it keep falling to the sides of my face and even the middle of my face all the time I’m trying to do sth, I got so mad this afternoon I yank my hair so hard it almost fell off, everyone’s concerned lol. Btw, I’ve tried blow drying it back and applying wax, it never works, I wear a headband most of the time so my hair is alrd “trained” but it still fall down when I take off my headband, even a grandma with hair like me or even shorter, her hair didn’t even fall to her face, IM SO CURIOUS WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME???. PLS HELP!!! Im a guy btw

Help! We have been getting our son’s haircut at a few local “chain” locations, and it seems no matter what happens his hair always seems to collect into a sharp point. No matter how we comb it, it always ends up like this. What type of haircut should we ask for? Perhaps we need to take him to more of a barber shop. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I've been to my current hair stylist a handful of times not and she's never asked me how I want my hair styled at the end of the visit. It's also not consistent how she does it each time. The last time I went, she curled it with a curling iron. I really didn't like how it looked and I also feel like my fine hair doesn't react well to heat curling like that.

Is it rude to ask her to just dry it with a round brush? How would you request this?
