Info on Carey price sports card signing
Hey everyone random post here but I have some questions
I’m from Canada and one of my childhood hero’s Carey prcie is coming to Toronto for the sports card expo and I was able and lucky enough to get the 1200$ VIP package to meet him there is just very little info on the actual event and how it works. so I’m wondering if anyone has been to one of these or knows how these typa events work as I’m curious cause I paid a pretty penny to meet him thanks in advance cheers .

Discussion As a Canucks fan I got lots of respect towards the Habs!
Whenever the Canucks aren't doing well my second team will always be the Habs forever! GO CANUCKS & GO HABS! I can’t see myself cheering for any other Canadian team besides the Canucks & Habs. FUCK THE OILERS, Fuck the Flames, FUCK THE LEAFS, Fuck the Jets, Fuck the Sens

Présentation Canadian Tayièèèère
5v5 Team Defence - October 18
Habs haven’t been as bad defensively as this sub has made it seem. Our PK has also been good to start the year at 82.4%. The issue has been goaltending and it’s frankly that simple. Once the goalies start playing well the Habs should be able to go on a heater.
Edit: more specifically Doby who has a -5.8 GSAx. Fowler has been good with a 2.2 GSAx but this is in a small sample size and is heavily influenced by the Detroit game.

Discussion Ryan O’Reilly as a 2C?
Habs offer Kirby Dach, the lesser of our two 2027 second-round picks, and a 2028 third-round pick that becomes a second if we win two playoff rounds or re-sign the player before July 1, 2027. In exchange we get Ryan O'Reilly with 50% of his cap hit retained by the Predators.
O’Reilly is a pending free agent, so this doesn’t lock us up into anything in the long term (especially with prospects like Hage in the pipeline) while bringing in a 74-point, 55% face-off centre and netting 1.35M in extra cap space. What are your thoughts on this hypothetical trade?

Playing from ahead
We've been able to have some success in the past with learning how to play from behind, and comeback from a deficit, especially last season. But, in the past few years, we've done a poor job of playing with the lead with urgency. It seems like we still have the habit of letting up when ahead, and allowing our opponents to come back. Has anyone seen any statistics for or against this thought, or anyone holding similar feelings? I've watched a lot of Canadiens hockey, and the past 4 years especially this has been a theme... Thoughts?

Good game, 2 points.
Middle of the game was little all over the place with PPs, 4-4s etc ... but generally we played good.
Expected goals were 4-3 in our favor so effort/play reflects result quite well.

Dach has to go
I say this with no malice or ill will toward the man at all, but his time is up and he has to go. Everyone on the team is contributing in some way, providing some kind of role, except for Dach. He is just completely invisible out there. In 8 games he's -4 (which is not that damning given our differential), has a single point, and has registered 3 shots. I’ve been pretty patient with Dach, and when they signed him in the off season, I said to myself, this has got to be his last chance. I know we are plagued with injuries right now, but when Florian OR Ivan comes back, Dach should be the one sitting until he is traded or put on waivers. All the best to Kirby, but we need to move on from this guy.
