Thoughts on Grief/Loss A Hellish Strength

Post image

Theres a saying. "When you are going through hell, keep going." You might be tempted to say "no shit", but in the most simplest terms it means to say dont give up. Remember the strength it takes to carry the weight of it. Your legs might want to give out. Your arms may be numb.... keep going.

Grief digs up everything you thought was buried, not just the fresh wound.

I call it a doorway that opens to the Past, Present, and Future trauma all at the same time. It does take a Hellish strength to stand inside it’s threshold.

You got this. The weight will lighten. You might not see it until you look back. But it will come. Keep going. I believe in you
