Request Our bread machine finally gave up after years of heavy use. What is the best value replacement in Europe that actually lasts?

There are 4 of us in the house and our old machine worked multiple times a week for years. It made our regular sandwich bread, kneaded dough for weekend doughnuts, and was on duty every Friday for homemade pizza night. The kids loved waking up to the smell of warm bread and honestly so did I. It finally stopped working this week after so many heavy batches, but it definitely paid for itself many times over. Added a photo of our usual loaf because I miss it already.

Now looking for a replacement that actually lasts. My main priority is solid build quality and spare parts availability in Europe. I am skeptical of newer models with cheap plastic gears that wear out after a year or two. I would rather invest in a solid machine where you can easily and cheaply replace a kneading paddle, bread pan, or drive belt instead of throwing the whole appliance away over one small failure.

For those who bake several times a week, what models have actually held up over the years? Is Panasonic still the undisputed standard for reliability and parts in the EU, or is there another brand offering better value for money? Would love to hear from people who have owned their machine for 5+ years.

Opinion Best shower head for hard water?

I hope I'm posting in the correct reddit. I'm looking for a rain shower head that also has a handheld with it that actually works with making hard water soft. I'm practically allergic to hard water and get a very bad reaction every time I stay at my brothers apartment. When he later moves out, I get that apartment (it's been in our family for years and it's a great location). Once I move in, the first thing I want to do is change all taps to have a filter system, my main one being the shower. I've tried searching on my own but can't tell what's actually reliable so I'm hoping the community would have a few pointers to put me in the right direction. I'm in Canada, Ontario. Some brands might be unavailable so I'm mentioning that. I'd also say my budget for the shower would be $500Cad, hoping that would be enough for a good product

Request monitor lighting under $30: cheap led strip or a small lamp?

asked about eye strain in r/monitors and people suggested trying a light behind the screen. budget is around $30.

this old thread from 2013 has a few commenters saying decent high cri strips were expensive back then: https://www.reddit.com/r/GoodValue/comments/1jq89b/gv_request_bright_high_cri_led_strips/

does high cri matter much for lighting the wall behind a monitor, or would a basic warm white usb strip be fine? also considering a small lamp pointed at the wall. which would you pick for the money?
