Need peoples advice here.

I have 10feet wide a little more, and about 13 feet deep of clearance. Height is a little iffy.

Im just trying to get something set up quickly. for the kids and myself and sometimes friends who are over and lets go hang int he garage. The garage is tight as it is sort of please excuse the mess.

I could do the other bay, but al little more annoying and smaller width.

I love the roll up set up that someone else posted here.

I dont want to spend a ton of money.

Looking for any budget recommendations to make the space look even better.

Does switching to an enclosure help the screen pop even more? What do people recommend to hold their computers?

The mat is seperate from the rest of the floor as I have to move it to allow my wife to park. I switch between an ez tee hybrid and bullseye 3d hitting strip.

I am looking for a company to design and install a custom sim setup with built in impact screen, wall and ceiling padding, flooring, and lighting. I’m in the Midwest and hoping for a reputable local installer but willing to pay travel for high quality install. Below are the companies I’ve been talking to and getting quotes. If you have used any of them can you give feedback on the process, quality of supplies, and quality of install?

I’m looking to replace the putting turf for my sim and looking for options. I originally used the Camry turf with a hitting strip cut it. Worked great for 9 months but it has started to tear in the stance area. I have a 6x4 section of EZ-Tee hybrid that I was planning to cut in but I have realized that it is too unstable to swing on. I love it though for a hitting strip. What would you recommend I replace the Camry turf with? Should I find another stance mat or just replace the entire area with NP45/50 or something similar and cut it my EZ-tee Hybrid? What are best options that can stand up to frequent use in the stance area?

I just got the Garmin R10 and I’m trying to figure out what balls to use. I know the Titleist RCT’s are the best option but they are pretty pricey. Anyone have any other cheaper options? I saw some folks say to use HVAC tape cut into a 1/4” dot on any other ball and it works just fine. I’ll be using it in the garage and backyard into a net

Currently piecing together my golf simulator and getting ready to ceiling mount my projector. For those who ceiling mounted theirs, how are you connecting to your PC? Are you running an extra-long HDMI cable up the mount, across the ceiling, and down the wall, or using a wireless HDMI transmitter?

The wireless setup seems convenient, but I'm worried about potential lag (and the extra cost). What’s everyone’s experience?

I need to mount the projector right above the center garage tracks and I am wondering what people have been doing to mount when they have the exposed rafters like this? I was thinking of mounting a board between rafters on opposite sides of the ceiling to create a flat surface, then attach a mount to that board.

I will be hitting about 9-10' away. Do I need a top piece for my enclosure? Don't see how I'd hit ceiling with balls. Is it more to provide dark area around screen?

I'm going with Metech retractable. Any suggestion for tope and side. I will have about 11x10 screen. Thanks

What I’d like to understand is what the Trackman IO does better technologically (and why), than the ProTee VX. I appreciate the cost of the IO is like 2-3x more depending on whether you want golf courses etc, and IO has hefty subscription etc.

I’m really after the what technical things the IO does better than the VX, if anything?

I’m building a home golf simulator and considering the 5′ × 8′ Matzilla mat ($299) as my landing/putting surface and an ultimate matzilla as a hitting surface.

The appeal is that they are both 1⅛″ thick, so I could put it directly on my garage floor without buying foam tiles or building up a separate layer of turf. That would give me a simple, modular setup with matching surface heights and no need to install a separate hitting strip.

I understand that Matzilla isn’t designed as a putting green, and I’m not expecting tournament-quality roll. I just want to know whether it’s reasonably consistent for putting during GSPro rounds, or at least
useable.
