Gag gift for grandpa?

Hi guys.
So every year I do a gag gift for my grandpa as a tradition but this year I really don’t know how to one up myself.
I try to stay away from rude gifts poking at age or anything weird (so no diapers or walking cane type stuff and preferably not sexual stuff) like that but here is some examples from past years. Let me know if you have any ideas on how to out do myself (preferably no more than like $150)

- cards that explode with confetti
- a sparkly pink wig (he is bald)
- a mini vacuum USB and some dust from my ceiliing fan in a dime bag
-wrapped his gift in 40 layers of duct tape, Saran Wrap, wrapping paper and boxes (the gift was a box cutter)
- a calendar where every month is me
-a card board cut out of myself and my porch goose

Honestly if it revolves around me some how even better because I like to flex I am the favorite grandchild :)
I am good at crafting and I can be handy too.

Looking for Gift Ideas What to do with a team picture?

We have a team of like 50 people and we managed to get a picture but honestly it’s not that good but whatever. I really want to do something a little creative with it to give to everyone for our holiday party.

I can paint but not hyper realistically and also not fine of details that would be needed for a medium sized canvas where each head would be about the size of a dime (that I would then scan and give prints of, no way am I painting that 50 times lol)

Gift for 14yr old girl

Good friends of ours have a 14yr old daughter who recently injured herself badly at an outdoor event and has a 6-8month recovery period ahead and won’t have much mobility during that period. We’d like to get her something - not sure what, but maybe in the £100-£150 range. She already has a laptop and tablet so binge watching needs are covered!

Gift for SIL and BIL

Looking for gift ideas for SIL and BIL who will be in town for Christmas. They are notoriously cold but don't have many hobbies. Religious. Like the outdoors (but she does not).

I've thought about travel gear, but I don't really know what they have or don't have. It can't be too bulky b/c they'll need to transport it home. Maybe water bottles or coffee tumblers that I have personalized/etched with their names.

Total Budget $100.

Looking for Gift Ideas Need Bday gift ideas for boyfriend around 10-15k INR?

I’m 25F and my partner (31M) is a traveller. He gifted me a one-way ticket to Egypt for my birthday, and I’d love to get him something thoughtful in return!
We’re not travelling together right now and his plans are pretty vague, so I’m looking for something compact and easy to carry. It doesn’t have to be travel-related.
A little about him: he’s a diver and rock climber (already has climbing shoes), loves journaling, art and history, and enjoys discovering niche places and experiences rather than typical touristy things. He’s also recently shown an interest in making travel videos. He travels internationally quite a bit, so ideally something useful, meaningful or interesting that won’t take up much space.
Budget: 10-15k INR. Would love some gift ideas! :)

looking for travel gift ideas under $50 that dont feel generic (pls help)

i'm shopping for a close friend who is always hopping on flights or going on road trips. i'm trying to avoid the usual generic travel gifts likee please no more neck pillows or headphones. i want to get him something he'll actually use on pretty much every trip. lately i've been looking at practical tech stuff. a good power bank seems useful since someone's phone or laptop always ends up dying during a long day. i saw a good power bank for around $53 after discount and it looks like it can charge a few devices without being a huge heavy brick. what are your go to travel gifts under or around $50 that can actually get used instead of sitting in a drawer? i'm open to cool tech, smart packing stuff or just random things that make traveling easier. what do you guys usually give?

Looking for Gift Ideas Big sis gifts

• Upvotes

My nieces will soon get a new little sister. They are 13 and 11 so this will be quite a big change for them. I am 9 years older than my brother and 11 years older than my sister. I remember someone getting me a gift when they were born and I thought it was so cool. I want to do something special for the big sisters. I usually don’t do physical gifts, I prefer to get them experience gifts but this time it seems appropriate to do some sort of activity? Maybe a craft or a game? Something that will keep them busy while Mom is tired, distracted, otherwise occupied. Baby is coming next month. I live out of state but will be visiting early December.

Added: I am not a parent Also, looking to spent max $100 each.

Looking for Gift Ideas Gifts for a Persona fan

My younger sister is a huge fan of the Persona games but I have no idea what to get her for Christmas. She already has all of the games for the Persona series so I was going to buy her Metaphor: ReFantazio but I want to get her other gifts as well. I would get her more practical gifts but Persona is all she talks about recently. She practically eats and breathes those games.

Any ideas?

Looking for Gift Ideas What do I get for a 47 year old father with no worldly desires ??

I have genuinely no clue what to get my dad this year as the man has zero hobbies and has everything he could want ( which isn't much ) . I've already exhausted all possible ideas in previous years , a lovely electric razor , a nice grill , good quality clothes - literally everything has been used and he doesn't need an upgrade for anything because if he wants one he's already bought it for himself . Every time I ask he just says ' ah , get whatever ' .

What can I get for him that's not a hygiene kit or food ?? The budget is roughly 150 euros since I like to go big on Christmas presents . Asking way in advance for shipping .

Looking for Gift Ideas Need advice for cousin’s birthday present

My cousin is turning 18 soon. I don’t get to talk to her a lot so I don’t know much about her likings/preferences. Need advice for her 18th Birthday present. (I’m an 18 year old student so I can’t spend a lot either)

Looking for Gift Ideas Looking for a gift that could make my boyfriend feel…ecstatic?

Hi guys. Big thanks for whoever replied

I’m trying to find a really good birthday gift for my boyfriend, but I’m running out of ideas!
So far, I’ve got him a nice electric shaver (he mentioned that he needed one), some books, and a travel chess set. I’m also planning to cook him a nice dinner and bake him a cake. But for some reason, it all just feels like… something’s missing?
We both love reading, and for my birthday he got me an e-reader, which I absolutely LOVE! He’s mentioned wanting one himself after seeing me use mine, but he already has an older model, so it’s not something he urgently needs. I’m planning to get him one for Christmas instead, partly because I want to save it for a bigger surprise!
And that’s the thing with the shaver, too. It’s practical, sure, but it’s not exactly something you’d use every day (or at least, not something you’d get particularly excited about receiving, if that makes sense? 😂). I just can’t think of anything else that would make a really good gift.
He’s into vintage clothing, but he’s pretty particular about his style and has his own principles when it comes to what he wears, so I don’t think buying him clothes would be a great idea.
Other than that, he’s into reading, music (he’s mentioned liking Joy Division), philosophy, chess, and films.
So I’d love to hear some ideas from people with similar interests! What kind of gifts would you genuinely be excited to receive?
Thanks in advance! :)

Looking for Gift Ideas Gift for my catsitter?

So I have a casual texting relationship with our catsitter. She’s been our go-to for a couple of years, we send each other cat pictures, and we’ve only met in person once or twice.

She just recently celebrated the adoption of the older kid she’s been fostering! I would love to give her a gift to celebrate with her - something that threads the line of thoughtful but not weird. I suggested something like a $25 Home Goods gift card, so she and her daughter could pick out new decor together, but my wife thinks that would be weird since we already pay her. I really don’t know much about what she likes! (Outside of cats, of course.)

Any ideas?

Looking for Gift Ideas Play Teaching Gift for Toddler

My 4 year old daughter loves teaching so I’d like to get her some kind of set up for Christmas. The only thing is I don’t want something big and bulky. How can I create a little teaching station for her and what should I get? So far I just have a Leapfrog interactive globe.

Looking for Gift Ideas gift for my fav bookseller

Once a week, I visit my favorite bookstore. A married couple has worked there for decades, continuing to do so out of a genuine passion for books. They always offer expert advice and are the most fascinating, intelligent, and sweetest people I know. What could I get them that they might enjoy? They are over 70, vegetarians, lived in Baghdad and Cairo in their younger years, and are very environmentally conscious. The two enjoy dining out, wear a lot of neutral tones, and have great taste when it comes to furniture. In the past, they used to like vacationing in France.
pls help me

Anniversary gift!! finish the miniature myself or let them build it together??

My parents have their anniversary coming up so i was going to make them a small miniature based on a shared memory. My sibling thinks it would be nicer to give them the project unfinished so they can build it together.

They both genuinely enjoy hands on crafts so it wouldnt be out of nowhere. I just cant decide whether the finished version feels more personal or whether doing the project together would create a better memory.

Which version should be preffered ?? a completed handmade piece or the supplies for a shared build?

Christmas Gift ideas for sister and her boyfriend

My sister (32) doesn't really talk to my family very much anymore (she speaks with my mother the most) as it feels like she's distancing herself as much as she can for the past 10 or so years. I am cordial with her and am still mourning the relationship we used to have while I was growing up. I don't think very highly of her as it seems her distance comes with judgement and seeing us as 'lesser' people than herself. She seems to have become the type of person who frowns upon cheap items and would rather get a nicer, more costly alternative and that's just not the life I live. I do fully understand the whole idea of being anti consumerism and not wanting to support places like Amazon but it does feel like she thinks she is a better person than we are.

We barely have a relationship anymore in the same way you might fade away from a friendship, but I have made attempts at a relationship that have gone ignored by her.

I still want to have something for her at Christmas. I can't afford much (MAYBE $30-$40 max between her and her boyfriend of 4 years) so it seems like I don't have many options that won't end up in the trash. If I go with the idea of chocolates I feel like it will just be frowned upon to get a basic brand, also they are more health conscious people.

They have 3 dogs. I know her boyfriend likes gaming. I think they play co-op games together. They like party games but I would fear getting them a game they already have (they have a lot).

I don't want to show up empty handed. $40 cash feels like a joke these days. Any advice or suggestions?

Looking for Gift Ideas Creative gift idea?

Good day community.

With grandparents living in close vicinity getting an original gift tend to be a challenge, we are very thank full for them though.

Does any one of you have an idea for an original gift with a strong emphasis on outdoor use?

My son is turning 9 and daughter the next day, 7.

Yes we live on a small holding, no we do not have money for a quad bike. 😅

Thank you.

Looking for Gift Ideas What online store makes good quality customised mousepads and phone cases?

Hi guys.

My bf really likes Tokyo ghoul and I want to get him a mousepad and possibly a phone case - both customised. Does anyone know any shops that will actually provide good quality mousepads?

I’ve checked reviews on certain places and people complain it’s blurry, etc?

Boo basket ideas

So making a boo basket for a friend and this is my first time making one and need some ideas. My budget is 15$ and I’m using a nice bag I have at home. I want to do a mix of products she can use and snacks. For snacks I’m doing a bag of chips and Oreos. Issue is she is gluten free and gluten free Oreos more expensive so gonna eat up half my budget. She is into things like dressing up, makeup, jewelry, skincare, and loves cats. I am getting my stuff from target. Thanks guys!
