We were on the ferry from the Isle of Skye to the Isle of Raasay yesterday. I took a short video of the sea out of the window and later noticed a voice in the background. Do you think it is a woman singing? I was alone with my partner at the time and it definitely wasn't us.

I took this photo in Anoka, Minnesota, the Halloween capital of the world just days before Halloween in 2010. My friend and I were in a photography class and stumbled upon this stone tower along the Rum River at night. As I was taking a handful of long shutter speed pictures while slowly panning my camera in-between shots, my friend was telling me horrific stories about this stone tower and how witches supposedly gather there and sacrifice animals in ritualistic ways. He said that’s why they put floodlights on the bridge aiming down at the tower. While I’m not sure if any of this is true, I did capture a very scary photo in the midst of all my long shutter speed shots, and it’s the only photo that has the misty looking ghost skull in it, which was smack dab in the middle of all the other shots. I did not see anything in person. It only appeared in that one digital photo. It creeps me out to this day and I have never gone back. I have since looked up the history of this tower and it appears that there are 3 of them along the Rum. There was no malicious intent behind building them originally. The builder Thaddeus Philander Giddings originally built them for musical gatherings with family and friends. (I included a couple more photos taken within seconds of the one with the ghost to show it only appeared in that one photo.)

Hi guys, idk if this is the right place for this but it is getting to the point where i am terrified and idk what to do.

I don’t believe in ghosts or anything paranormal but the past 2 weeks are really messing with my head and i need advice because i don’t know what’s going on.

2 weeks ago, i woke up around 3am, rolled over in bed and saw a figure standing near my door. She was facing towards my mirror which is placed next to my door.

I tried to rationalise with myself. I live with 2 girls so i thought maybe it was one of them but the more i looked, i could see details that were definitely not my flatmates.

She had shoulder length grey hair. She was wearing a blue long dress with full sleeves, and a white sash thing around her waist.

I stared for a good 3 minutes as she continued to face away from me towards the mirror. She began to kind of slouch a bit? and then when i blinked, she was gone.

It wasn’t sleep paralysis. I could move. I called my flatmate immediately telling her what happened once the figure was gone.

But that was only the start of the past 2 weeks.

Since then, my phone broke. All my bank cards stopped working. My laptop broke. My keys were lost. everything just started completely falling apart.

I became so ill i couldn’t keep food down for a week. There was no medical explanation other than stress which in all fairness could have been the cause.

The worst was last night.

In the middle of the night, pigeons flew into the brick wall outside my window, dying and falling to the floor.

There were only 3, but still wtf?

And then after cleaning up the bodies, i get to uni, borrow a laptop from the library and then the minute i sit down in the lecture, it begins blaring alarm sounds and completely breaks/shuts down.

I don’t know what’s going on. I do t believe in this stuff but i just don’t know how this is all happening.

I understand it could be a mix of stress/extremely bad luck but ive never had this before. I just moved into this flat a month and a bit ago but everything was going ok.

Advice would be greatly appreciated. I don’t know what to do.

To my knowledge, this doesn’t happen to anyone else working in this building. I’ve asked everyone.

So I’m asking because a month ago I got my dog , and she does some creepy stuff especially at nights , she stares at a wall and sometimes even moves her head like she’s following something , and it’s in the room my late grandma was in which is now my bedroom , am I valid for thinking so?

Random and a long shot but, does anyone remember seeing that YouTube video of this family that either filmed their child’s birthday party or took pictures during the party. And in one of the photos they caught a child ghost standing in the corner It had a very angry/jealous sad, expression maybe even demonic facial features. Cannot for the life of me remember what the video was called. Really creeped me out the first time I saw it. Be interesting if someone manages to find it.

I was sleeping and almost half awake for whatever reason but i heard the bedroom door open i thought it was my partner going to the bathroom but i heard him snore right next to me so it wasnt him i gave it a minute before i actually got up to look if it actually opened or if my mind played tricks on me so i finally open my eyes and sit up to look , it was open. My heart dropped a little when i heard it since i was still half asleep i also encountered something else about 2 months ago the bedroom window slammed shut while i was in the living room at around 1-2am and the light from the room also turned on i was scared someone broke in since the doors were closed and everything was off but i went to go look and nobody was there what do you guys think this is ive experienced something at the last place we rented too i was sitting at my desk and the bed creaked as if someone sat down right next to me which it only did that if you sat on it so now im hoping something isnt following us just weird..

I am new to learning about ghosts, but I wanted to gather people's opinions on the idea that a ghost is a remnant of something that happens repeatedly in a place.

I usually don't think much about ghosts or anything like that, but I was spending time in a 120+-year-old train depot, and out of the corner of my eye, I thought I saw a man swinging his arm in a sweeping motion. I looked up, and no one was there. I saw him so vividly that I was about to talk to him when I looked up.

Could this be one of those time remnant ghosts that appear as a blink from another point in time?

I just remembered something and had to ask if it's common in regards to spirits and ghosts

When I was in 10th grade I went to a new school and landed in a class with the most horrible kids ever.

I quickly became resentful towards them (for ruining the last grade if school for me) and depressed. I remember very vividly one time in class when I was extremely bored and zoning out when I felt a hand touch my side/hip ...but my side was 2cm from the wall pressed and there was no one behind me at all and it wasn't a gust of wind either. I also remember around this time, seeing a gray figure walking from my closet and out towards the window in my house...it happened 2x.

I've felt that when I'm sad or angry I see dark shadows out of the corners of my eyes.

Do you think that some spirits feed off of your sad/negative energy?

Long story, I need help. My oldest brother has had some sort of SOMETHING attached/following him for about 14 years now. We initially thought it was the house his family lived in however that was not the case. Activity in the home was ranging from doors opening, laughter, knocking on walls, electricity issues, uneasy feelings, drawers opening, things falling in the shower, etc. This activity got more physically violent once my brother was expecting his first blood born child (as he already had a bonus child through marriage). Physical harm like scratches on body parts, being pulled out of bed, hair being pulled. Flash forward to the voices through the baby monitor, the newborn sounding like it’s interacting with someone when no one is in the room, the baby not being able to be in certain rooms without terror crying. My sibling had several people come out and all have the same consensus, there was one room that had the darkest, pit in your stomach, chills down your spine, negativity that was watching and in a way orchestrating. Fast forward to years later, new house, new location. Things seemed to have changed but not calmed down. Now we have sleep walking, a weird form of almost levitation during sleep with no recollection, sheets being ripped, misery/anger in his mood, and more physical interactions or touching and scratching. The child is now a teen. Her and the majority of her friends get uneasy and uncomfortable vibes from her closet specifically. They describe what they see all the same, just some dark figure standing in the closet and watching. Well, things in this past week have gotten more active in the household. The teens tv will turn on randomly to a blank screen, the bedroom door with close, friends say they’ve felt their wrists being grabbed and pulled, lights coming on at all times, and now music. Songs will come on they’ve never heard before and repeat the same part “when you’re alone, I’m going to get you”. My brother has also been very sick this past week with his coughing becoming fairly aggressive. The house has been cleansed in multiple different ways, crystals are strategically placed throughout the house, protection symbols hung, protection jars. However, things in this house don’t seem to interact any time I’m there - it’s usually when my brother is not home or when he’s sleeping/trying to sleep. The teen is becoming afraid as activity towards her is becoming more frequent and aggressive. I genuinely don’t know where to start, what to do, how to protect them. As I said, there’s been several different people come over to observe both houses, identifying what dwells and where, all practicing different crafts. However none of them seem to have a solution. I don’t know what to do for my family.

This is going to sound insane but I figured this is the best place to ask. Has anyone ever experienced paranormal activity over the phone?

I was on an instagram video call with someone who was visiting their grandmother, and who is a strong believer in paranormal activity. They have said before that strange things happen in that house, likely related to a previous war. For context, this house is in the Midwest of the United States.

During this call, I started getting freaked out because they looked really uncanny because of these random blurs on their side of the phone. This didn’t look like a typical Instagram bad-quality glitch. As opposed to pixelated bad connection, it was truly a blur. I told them what was happening and they said it may be related to spiritual activity.
This person began to ask the spirit (if that term would be correct) questions, requesting that it create a blur for a “yes”.

Blurs came after answers to certain questions but not others. For example:
“Are you under the age of 13?” blur
“are you under the age of 11?” no blur

We discovered her age, the year she died, what she experienced, and what her intentions are. I am unsure if she would find it acceptable for me to put her information on here. Sorry if that sound silly, but I have no idea how this stuff works.

She would also answer my questions that I asked her even though she was physically present in the other person’s home.

Throughout this, a second mobile phone in the room would occasionally ring from what the person I was speaking with claimed was an unknown number. The television in the home also turned off, but I am unsure if that was because of someone else in the home.

Has anyone had any experiences with “blurs” or anything similar to this over the phone? I’ve never really believed in this kind of stuff but it’s pretty hard to find another explanation — way too coincidental. Kind of freaking out.

I’ve had experiences off and on for over 20 years. It’s gotten really bad lately and we’ve had to move. While cleaning out my house this weekend it attacked my wife and son physically. I posted yesterday about a couple weird things that used to happen at my dad's house. I found an old picture of teenage me (I was an emo kid lol), and there shouldn't have been anything behind me. I was in the hallway by myself. This picture is 16 years old now. Do you see the face like I do? I see a face, and no one in the house has that color hair either.
