I have tried Loft but it will not let me.

The bottom body of these two has a larger outer width and a narrower inner width than the top body.

Im working on this project and these wings are about 30x60x1/16in and are going to be doubled up thus the holes for the screws. When I try to print it in bambu it is giving me a big pain and it is so large and unweildy and thin that Idk how i can easily cut it up so that I can print it on seperate plates. Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.

Question Anyone connected a local LLM (like with Ollama) to Fusion MCP?

• Upvotes

Hi.

I installed a local LLM on my Laptop with an eGPU that runs fine in general to avoid the costs for coding support in VS Code for my ESP32 projects.

I tried not to connect the Fusions MCP to a local model but did not get it running. It recognize the tools but I cannot get it working to create objects. Any tips? Tried Ollama 3.2 and Mistral.7b. Perhaps the models are too small?

Cheers,

Nils

Easiest way to model the scale on this razor?

I saw this razor online and I like the bubbly striped scale. I am wondering what's the best way to go about modeling this. I cant seem to find anything that fits on YouTube university.

Cannot combine body converted from mesh

I'm working to create a mold of a 1955 Corvette custom rear fender for a buddy. This is from a racecar that saw some 'action' at Watkins Glen a few weeks back.

I scanned the opposite side fender, mirrored, scaled, etc, then used forms to create the desired match with the scanned mesh body.

I'm left with a clean-looking fender face, but it's basically an empty shell. When I go to do a combine/intersect with a solid rectangular prism to create an 'inverse' it'll let me pick the rectangular prism as the target, but I cannot select the fender as the cutting tool.

My end goal is to create an inverse mold I can drop into my 3D slicer, chop into pieces, print, assemble and then use for a fiberglass mold.

I'm struggling bouncing around between Fusion, MeshLab and Blender (latter two I have 0% experience with), so I'm kind of bogged down.

Can anyone point me in a sane direction for untangling this? I'd appreciate any guidance anyone can lend. Thanks!

Fusion add on

I am working on a fusion add on that you can hook up an hdmi touchscreen and have all the shortcuts right next to me. It has a track pad to move around. Many themes. Animated icons. Is anyone interested? I got the idea from using a stream deck and wanted something better.

Question Custom Shaped Spline for Fillet

I have created this 3d model of an unlevel edge climbing trainer. Since I have to print it laying on either front or back face the fillet shown in 3 and for for each step (7mm) are an over 45degree angle and really bad for print quality.
Are my only options to decrease the fillet radius (worse feel for fingers) or a support structure (worse surface without sanding)?

Help appreciated, thanks <3

In the attached pic, I want to use the tube to cut into the bin under it. I believe there is a way to use the tube to cut along a path (going downward into the bin). What method would I use to accomplish this?

I am trying to figure out how to join these bodies in fusion 360. I am going to add male threads to the down pipe and the pipe on the right. How do I remove the area circled in red to make this clean and uniform? Thank you.

Question Bending objects?

I'm a hard beginner and made the object on the left.

However, I want it to be slightly curved like the right picture. What would be the easiest way to make it like that?
