37/M/England - Looking for New Folks

Hey!

Im a 37 year old guy from England who's looking to meet new people and maybe make a friend or two, casual conversation, more in depth, and just generally trying to get to know more people. I don't care too much where you're from or your age, but let me know anyway just so I have an idea of who I'm speaking to.

I'm pretty laid back in general and not all that really judgemental of people, but I am interested in stories of how they came to be. People's lives, what they are in to, where they want to go, what their idea of happiness and life looks like. That sort of thing.

I've been described as a cool head and a good conversationalist with an even temperament. Curious about almost everything. Intelligent, funny and reasonably witty. A good speaker and listener.

Interests? Outdoors, exploring new places and visiting things off the beaten track. Architecture, history, horror stories, the surreal and out there. Things that make me think about stuff or ask questions.

I’ve finished work for the next few weeks and between stuff I have to get done and other plans I thought it might be nice to find other people to talk to so, if you feel like the above might be of interest to you feel free to drop me a message.

43M from Florida looking for some low-pressure, everyday chat friends

I am 43 and live down in Florida. Work-wise, I am an analyst and developer, and since I work from home, I do not get much interaction with others outside my core work team.

When I am not working, you can usually find me working out every single day to stay sane, tinkering with custom electronics builds, coding personal projects in my spare time, and playing music across a few different instruments. I also really enjoy traveling, experiencing new cultures, and trying out different kinds of food whenever I get the chance.

Life gets busy, so I am not expecting round-the-clock texting, just someone chill to trade messages with. I am a good listener and always down for solid, genuine conversation.

41M - looking for long term friends

Let’s share a joke or meme, let’s laugh. Pressure at office? Take a coffee break, let’s talk. Heart broken? You have to live again, love your life again, let’s talk about our most favourite thing, hobby. Who is stealing our laugh? Our joy? Let’s take it back, together! Sharing sadness can be a way to our happiness. I am offering a shoulder, hands if you need it. Listening ear, if you need it. In the end, we only regret the chances we didn’t take.

I love deep conversation. Small talks are fine too until it's dry. So please don't be dry! I love music, mostly into 80’s and 90’s and I’d love to hear your recommendation and will do the same if you want. I love languages, specifically I am in love with Turkish language but no I can’t talk or write in Turkish. I am totally non judgmental so you can vent. I believe every kind of relationship are just like a tree! Give it a time, it will grow thro times. A fully grown tree can be our shelter and we can get fruit too! A tired soul can take rest beneath that tree! Give it a shot!

Looking for new friends because apparently making friends as an adult is a fu#king nightmare.

I have kids, a job, and approximately 47 things I should probably be doing instead of being on Reddit.

Looking for someone to talk absolute shit with, send memes to, overshare with, and occasionally have a deep existential crisis with at 11pm.

Bonus points if you have a good sense of humour, can hold a conversation, and don’t take three business days to reply to every message.

I’m equally happy talking about completely stupid shit or accidentally getting into a three-hour conversation about life.

Please be funny. Or at least funny-looking. I’ll take what I can get.

Current bucket list-
Tomorrowland
The Grand Masked Ball- Versailles
(Thats as far as Ive got.. lets add to it please)
Also note... due to kids this might be a few years in the making lol... they are expensive

Looking to make some new friends (40f)

Hi! I'm looking to meet some women around my age to chat with and hopefully make some lasting friendships.

I enjoy history, reading, tv and art. I'm happy to chat about pretty much anything. I'd love to find people who enjoy a good conversation, whether that's talking nonsense, discussing something interesting or putting the world to rights.

Feel free to drop me a message if you'd like to chat! 😊

A 43-year-old woman living in London feels her social circle is gradually shrinking.

Born in Slovakia, I left my homeland after a difficult marriage, and since then, I have devoted more of my time to my work and personal growth. I used to enjoy frequent social gatherings, but with age, I have found myself less drawn to socialising for the sake of it. When life becomes quieter, one begins to realise how few genuine friends remain close, each of us occupied with our own responsibilities and rarely finding the time to meet. Yet, whenever we do, the conversation flows effortlessly, as though no time has passed. Perhaps this is what growing older teaches us that the value of our social lives lies not in how many people surround us, but in the quality of the connections we maintain. I often wonder how others feel about this; do you prefer a close circle of like-minded people who enrich your life, or do you still find pleasure in socialising simply for the enjoyment of company?
