This tiny (2") portrait of this dog was sitting on the mantel unpriced. They sold it to me for 50¢. I just know this dog was special to someone and I couldn't stand the thought of it getting thrown in the trash.

The photo is degraded now so it's hard to judge what type of dog but it looks like a short corgi or shelty type dog. The frame dates to the 1930s. This picture hangs in my bathroom and is one of my most prized possessions.

I believe this is a photo of an old CBC radio broadcast that was on a boat in or around Halifax, NS, Canada. Maybe pre-1950 but unsure.

My grandmother (great grand mother) has a very wild childhood and her parents never kept any of her photos. She is 95. If y’all find anything of the illinois, Indiana, Ohio, and Kentucky regions, direct me to the post please!

Left in a book, resellers are fed by charity shops so no idea where John lives or how to trace him or his family. The bookseller was in Lancashire UK and the photo is now in Scotland but the date on the back is a US format.

I was cleaning out my grandpas house a few months back and found family photos. He was one that kept everything including the film that was already processed. Well he had a unique disposable camera or film that even the photo store procam was mesmerized. It’s called disc negatives and they are small pictures and they were able to scan them in. Finally got them back today and they are of my parents wedding and my uncles at the Cincinnati zoo from 1988. If this is not allowed please take it down. I have a couple more of these discs and will for sure be getting them scanned.

Found in a book from a reseller of charity books. Photo from Africa? Island nation? Breezeblock walls. Clothing for a warm climate. Photo is now in Edinburgh, Scotland. Trying to connect with John to arrange its return.

Please help me find my childhood photo albums — Crofton, Maryland

I'm hoping someone in the Crofton or Anne Arundel County area might be able to help me recover something very precious to me.

My storage unit at Best Storage, Crofton, Maryland, was auctioned on October 13, 2026,

Among the contents were MANY photo albums filled with photographs from my childhood and family memories. Both of my parents have passed away, and these photographs are irreplaceable to me. They are some of the few tangible memories I have of my parents and my younger years.

I'm not trying to reverse the sale or get any of the other belongings back. All I am asking for is the return of my family photo albums.

I went to the storage facility the day after the contents were removed and asked for help. The manager has been kind enough to say they would contact the buyer on my behalf, but I have not been able to get an update. I also contacted Severn River Auctions, but they told me they do not have records identifying the buyer.

I'm hoping someone who purchased the unit, attended the auction, helped move the contents, or knows the purchaser might see this post.

I know these photographs may look like ordinary old albums to someone else, but to me they are memories of my parents and my childhood that can never be replaced.
