Found in a used John Denver vinyl
Was the "Best of John Denver" album, tucked away safely in the inner sleeve. Nothing written or dated on the back. Can't remember where or when I even got the record. Would love to somehow be able to return this to the owner(s) if possible

Found photo in a second hand book
Hi everyone,
I recently bought a second-hand book from "World of books" online and found these two interesting pieces of history found inside.
One is an old childhood school photo dated 1978. The other is a train ticket from the British Rail era. It feels like a shame to throw away someone's childhood memory, so I wanted to see if anyone recognises the school uniform or the face.
If this is you, or you think you know the school, let me know! It would be brilliant to get the photo back to the original owner or their family.

Found an old, 19th century, glass plate negative of the great pyramids at a thrift shop today. Unfortunately it broke on the way home... at this point I'm not sure if it's saveable or trash.... at least it was only $1.

Always wondered what was cut out of picture…
My dad passed recently and we are going through photos to compile a presentation at his service. Finally found what was cut out of the picture… Hearty chuckles were had. Hope you have a good cackle too!

Found in Berlin, around 2020
Bought this for the frame in a flea market in Berlin (Fhain) sometime in Spring 2020, but we realised later the photo is stuck to it. We liked it and have been displaying it since.
Nothing on the back, just this couple(?) looking absolutely fabulous.

Pin of a man
Unknown man likely surname: Claussen, Bachman, Morton, Martin, Rose, Reinhart, Wilson, Spangler but may be something else. Likely pre 1920s, found in my Great Grandmother’s belongings. Likely lived in Iowa (Wapello county(?)), Kansas, Colorado, Ohio.

North Dakota 1900-1930s Photos Found in Opshop
EDIT: descendants have been found!
Kia ora from Aotearoa (New Zealand). I work at an opshop and we've recently had a really interesting donation! It's a family photo album with well over 100 photos from as early as 1903 to as late at 1930. I would love to be able to send this album to a descendant - it feels far too precious to be sold in an opshop.
The photos have extensive notations. The main family seems to include two brothers named Lyell and Elton who would have been roughly 8-10 and 6-8 years old in 1923, respectively. It is mentioned that Elton went to school in Haynes, North Dakota. Their parents' names are Frank and Blanche. Blanche may have had three sisters named Ethel, Mabel and Edna. It's also possible that they're cousins or family friends. Brothers may include Wilfred and Joe. Ethel may have been with someone named Edgar Swanson (not 100% sure they were married).
It looks like the family has an early threshing machine (trust me, I had to do a bit of research to work this one out - initially I thought it was a location!). There's horses and dogs around in a lot of the photos. From a quick Google, I believe their last name was Wagenveld. They may have moved to Holland, Michigan.
A last name that pops up a bit is Cornella. A child is named Monie Cornella. Monie may have gone to war? There's a photo with the caption "Momie [Cornella] home from war". Not 100% sure if Momie or Monie are different people or just a misspelling for the same name. Max, Rudy and Al seem to be other family members.
Batima is another last name that pops up. A family Martha, Jene, Clara, Mabel and Cornelius Batima. Drayton is another commonly mentioned last name - Meade, John, Mayme, and Elizabeth Drayton.
Other names of people that seem connected to the family are: Lila, Marion, Harold and Louise.
Most of the other locations mentioned are probably holiday spots, rather than where they were from. But here are some that popped up: Lemmon, South Dakota; Beulah, North Dakota; Rugby, North Dakota; Bad Lands, North Dakota (this definitely seems like a holiday); Bismarck, N Dak; and Minot, N Dak.
I know this is a lot of information, but I'm just really hoping to find someone related to the family in this album. It is so special and deserves to be passed along to its rightful home!

Between the pages of a ThriftBooks buy
Got a book from ThriftBooks via eBay and this was between the pages. There was a name written in the book and a business card from a specific Barnes & Noble location, but it still didn’t yield much in the way of search results. My romantic heart would love to reunite it with its owner, but it was just so exciting to find to begin with.

Church congregation picnic, Detroit, 1928
While sorting through my late aunt's photo collection, we stumbled across this photo that we'd never seen before. It had possibly originally belonged to my grandfather (or maybe my aunt's mother-in-law) as it pre-dated my aunt by a decade, but that's just a guess as we're completely unfamiliar with this church congregation. The photo had been tightly wound with a rubber band into a "scroll" that had the unfortunate effect of making it difficult to manually photograph since it would immediately curl back up when you let go of it, so there's a bit of warping on the ends where we had to hold it straight.

Found hidden
I bought that frame with the pictures of bruises a few years ago and I never opened it. I opened it because i was curious if there was something written somewhere and i found this portrait of a man behind it. I tried with google lens but it didnt help me. Behind the pictures of bruises there are dates. Probability belonged to a doctor? Maybe he's the doctor idk
Edit: in the 4th photo you see the text behind one of the photos. I can read " Calcio di ...." i dont understand the other word. But Calcio holds many meanings such as Calcium (could be medical stuff) or it could mean kicking someone. But having no context is hard to understand.
You have to understand the context. I found this in a market (if you look i explained it in another comment in a small village in Italy where i lived for 4 vears. Its a very small place where literally nothing happens. I could sleep with the windows open, even though the house was on the ground floor. I could come home as late as 4 a.m. without being afraid of anyone Obviously, this doesn't mean that everyone is carefree, or that things like this don't happen. But I bought this photo when I was 21. Back then, I had a different perspective, that place was practically my home, and I felt safe evervwhere; in my mind, I just assumed hat nothing bad could ever happen there. Now that I've brought it out again, I realize that perhaps that wasn't the case and i realized how bad it is.

Pictures from my Grandfather
I found pictures from my grandfather lately. Unfortunately, he’s dead so I cannot ask him about the context of those pictures.
I know that he was born 1938 in Damascus and never was in the military so I’m curious what those pictures are about.
Also, I cannot read Arabic and it’s not so easy to translate this handwriting.
If somebody has some ideas or hints for context, I would be very happy
(The backside is always referred to the prior picture)
