I've been coming to all FD events in CA, either long beach or irwindale since 2010.

Now the ticket is over $100. On this economy, I'm contemplating if I have to go to final FD or not and need to buy 2 tickets for my daughter too and another $35 for parking.

Maybe next year I'll just watch from youtube.

I caught his Mustang, but missed his drifting that evening.

Is there anything? Im taking both of my kids and 106 per ticket not even a kid rate is a little crazy. All other automotive races I go to there is kid rates.

1. Congrats to Connor. He deserves every win he gets.

2. Maybe adjust the cones if every 5th run is a restart. Actually get rid of restarts entirely. They cause more problems than they solve.

3. Minowa’s dad CLEARLY does not belong in FD Pro and it’s frustrating to watch him fumble through the bracket on technicalities. He’s a legitimate hazard which was proven with Bakchis. Even grassroot drifters know not to hit the brakes if something goes wrong when in the lead. The fact that he made it to Top 8 is a failure of the rule book and the judges.

4. Racer+ is the worst streaming service in the world.

Am I the only one who can't stand this dude and feels like he's one of the shadiest drivers and just trys to win even if it means flopping and doing weird technicality rule book shit

Who in FD history suffered the most because they were sponsored by crap parts?

Not talking self sabotage choices like running bad engine types or picking a really bad chassis.

I'll start one not to jab, but to start discussion.

I will say Chris Forsberg. His sponsorship with Nissan [it is official, but also not if I recall] is a pretty great deal, but car manufacturers like when you show off their vehicles with what actually goes inside them at the dealer. He was wining championships with reliable Titan V8s even when strapping twin turbos to them, but in the last many years driving 370/400Zs with the V6s they come with caused him quite a bit of engine failures through some seasons.

This was a great listen, especially getting to learn more about Amanda and her brothers.

One intriguing thing is at the end of it, she mentions that, FOR LEGAL REASONS, the Air Force had to back out of all of their sponsorships this year. Hopefully they'll be returning next year, but it's still up in the air apparently. Anyone got any idea what might have come up? The Army still sponsors O'Sully, so it's gotta be a branch specific reason.

Does anybody know whose signature this is? I tired a reverse image search but it didn’t come up with the right person, all I know is that it’s a formula drift driver.

I wanna get this out the way: I'm more of a Field fan than a Deane fan.

I whole-heartedly believe Deane was robbed.

I do not believe Field "impeded". However, I believe he should've lost considering the fact he was deceling through all of zone 2. I think because of the deceling through the entire zone caused Deane to gain more proximity to Field than he wanted to/expected which is where the claim from Deane that Field impeded came from.

I don't feel it's impeding because as a chase driver, you need to adapt to the lead cars line/run.

Fields interview was trashy af.

Fields excuse that he was on throttle is skirting around the fact that he was heavy left-foot braking through the entire zone.
