Vacuum leak or fuel injector problem?
I have a 2004 Taurus se wagon, it's got the 3.0 Vulcan engine in it, when I got it it had been sitting for a few years up north, the people who gave it to me told me "just drive it around for a bit and you should be able to work the rust off"... So long story short I've put about $6k into it for various repairs from tires to a battery and I've also replaced the o2 sensor for bank 2. I've still got a laundry list of problems and I'm starting with the check engine light, plugged my obdII scanner into it and I'm still getting codes for both banks running lean and now the o2 sensor for bank 1 sensor 1 is out, how do I tell what's causing the engine to run too lean? I thought for sure it was a vacuum leak but when I did the brake cleaner test I didn't hear anything different in the rpm
