Ignore the mess, currently my stuff and waste is stored in a variety of bags. That being said, I do need a cutesy new bin and STORAGE. I do actually have some more space under the bed to store things I don't reach for often, but for my regular stuff, I desperately need some vertical storage. I'm considering pegboards for my hobby/tech stuff, but I'd have to use command strips unfortunately(no drilling 💔). I also desperately need recommendations for mirror placement, because currently I'm feeling like it's literally impossible to place it anywhere nice. I'd also really appreciate if anyone could come through with lighting suggestions, how do you think I should go about placing any lamps and stuff, cuz the freaking bright ass bulb over my head is kinda horrible.

I know this is all sounding a lot like I'm a uni student or something, but this is genuinely my room in the new house my family has moved into( I'd probably move out in the near future tho). We're at a much better spot rn tho and it's been kinda fun figuring out how to make this room my own, despite the size.

I unfortunately already had a bed situation going on before I even moved in, so sorry for the futon/loft/murphy dreams 💔 moving is expensive. I will still happily recieve more ideas and feedback. Honestly didn't even expect so much help and concern, thank you so much guys. You've helped me so much!

ETA, y'all my mattress will not fit horizontally 😭 it's just how it is for now

Bed Placement in new apartment

Hi All! I was hoping to get advice on the best placement for my bed in my new place! I know it’s not recommend to have your bed beneath a window, but I’m not sure how else I could place it? Any suggestions on the mirrored closet as well would be welcome - I know you’re not supposed to sleep across from a mirror but not sure how to avoid!

Feng Shui help needed for potential condo purchase

My wife and I are considering purchasing a 1br condo. Inside of the condo is fine. Our concern is the condo door to the hallway of the building that leads to the elevators. The condo door directly faces a fire exit door that is right across the hall and to the left of the fire exit door is a garbage chute room. Both the fire exit and garbage chute room have doors on it and are kept closed all the time. The fire exit door is rarely used - only in an emergency. The garbage chute room is maintained daily and is kept very clean.

I have attached a video looking out from the condo door so you can see the proximity and location of the fire exit door and the garbage chute door/location. I have read that it is inauspicious to have these things across from your door. Should I avoid buying this condo? Or do you think it’s ok and if it’s ok are there remedies I should implement?

question about ghost rider art

so growing up i was a big fan of ghost rider and he had always been a source of comort to me since i grew up on comics. for some reason his were the most calming. he got me through alot of really dark times. I had chronic intrusive thoughts as a kid due to at the time unmedicated bipolar and thinking of him and his flaming chain slashing through the thoughts actually helped me sort of meditate them away for the moments. my whole life ive kept ghost rider art. i just moved into a new apartment and I wanted to display my comics. I googled if its different with history and got an ai overview off google. Is this an accurate statement or does this history and unorthodox positive emotional reaction i still have to him not matter due to his image still being a literal skull?

How should I layout the room?

Not sure how to separate sleeping and study areas specifically. Can consider removing extra furniture, but would like to keep them otherwise! Nothing under the aircon preferably

Thank you in advance!

Is there any other way?

Had this room for a while and tried several things, but these are seemingly the best places for everything. I think the one piece of furniture that doesn't need to be moved for certain is the bed, because it looks to be in the best possible command position, and it has a little bit of room on the left side of it for some semblance of balance. That bit of room is also there because I will otherwise move around in my sleep and destroy the blinds that are there (curtains aren't any safer from me).

Every piece of furniture is vital for this bedroom, and nothing can be moved outside of it because I'm an adult living with my parents still. I'm willing to buy small items that would improve the space, like some sort of divider. A headboard for my bed would be great but I'm not sure I have the money or space for it.

I've considered putting the big shelf in front of my bed to divide my sleeping area from my working area (by putting the desk on the other side of the big shelf). I dislike this because it leaves very little room for socialization, and I still want to be able to at least turn around in my desk to pook at the tv if needed.

I'm also considering moving the TV to the top of the big shelf, as I think it'd be able to just barely be able to fit. But that's the only possible thing I could think of moving that would make this space better.

Pregnant and wanting to move my bed!

I’ve read so many different things regarding this. Could someone please help me! My room feels so off energy wise and I feel like I need to reposition bed. I have a tall headboard that could work as a “wall”. My Kua number is 6 but every “best” direction seems to not work with this room, besides maybe putting it in the opposite corner of the bedroom door facing diagonally? I’m so lost! Thank you in advance!

Bedroom doesn’t feel right.

Help me feng shui my bedroom.

I have a bed, a large closet (up against the bathroom wall) and a dresser (opposite the bed against the kitchen wall).

But something doesn’t feel right. I am not sleeping as well as I did in my former apartment. And the wall with the windows is also rather cold, so I feel like there is a constant draught.

I am contemplating moving the bed to where the closet is and then moving the closet to where the dresser is and then probably getting rid of the dresser, as it won’t fit in that setup.

I’ve put direction indicators on the image, but bottom right is North-ish, and top left is South-ish.

Please give me all your Feng shui wisdom! Thanks ❤️

Living and Dining Room

I'm in the process of renovating my apartment. I'm trying to find the best layout. The couch, carpet and TV and taped to the floor, and the potential dining table seating 8 is taped alone. The problem is, the door swings behind the couch. I feel the discomfort in this position. I'm not sure how to utilize the space. I'm open to having dividers, but I'm not sure how. I would greatly appreciate feedback while I try to scratch my head and think of solutions.
