We used to get rewards in every level of the star pass but now in some of the levels with nothing.

Some premium levels have no rewards too.

So, They collectively reduced rewards?

From what I felt playing Div rivals with Baresi on my team , I felt secured but let's dive into details and pros and cons about him

Pros - Cheap Af - He is under 14k which is actually a steal to have 122 Anticipate PlayStyle player , he is actually worth every penny if you invest in a CB

Meta PlayStyle - This guy has Anticipate as his PlayStyle and it's Level 2 which is a big deal , to have PlayStyle and the stats to back it up , it actually helps

Stats - Despite his height , the 230 defending and 215 physical comes in clutch , I played against R9 , Bruiser Halland , Aguero , CR7 and he held on just fine but in certain cases he didn't but majority was great to make sure that those stats are not just for show

Stamina - Barzagli who was once a steal gets overshadowed by this card not only by stats , cost but also stamina , In this game where stamina is an issue

Workrate and Trait - he has excellent Workrate of High defending / Low attack Workrate , this makes sure to have him at the back and not scaling up to join the attack or charging with ai as he stays back in position

He also has the traits of Dives into tackle , this is a very useful trait for MM imo where defenders go for challenge and makes sure they can try to win games for you , works for other modes as well in H2H which makes crucial decisions in terms of challenge for you

Not easily skill stunned - During certain h2h games he was not getting stunned and was easily blocking players time to time , he had some issues but majority times he was consistent

Now let's talk about Cons

Cons - Height - He is 176 CM which is such a low height for CB , the likes of Desially , Kolher , Barzagli, even Thuram gives me edge to win Aerial threat but Baresi if facing Aerial threat against Bruiser players , or players using Rainbow or even During corners can easily take him on in terms of height , he is threatened by Aerial Attackers and long ball games

Low rated as the game is scaling - Don't get me wrong , today is the first day the rating has increased from 122-124 however the power scale can tip in matter of weeks , right now he will basically be in every team but after that people will find flaws or way better option in terms of rating and can be replaced

Pace - while he is someone who stays at the back , Pace is still a challenging issue on hand , 186 pace is not that high considering many Players with Rapid or high pace can get away from him with one quick lane change or roulette despite not easily getting stunned but pace is something he cannot go against , he needs to already be controlled and dragged back to assure he is way ahead of defender to fall in space while team comes back

I would like to conclude by saying few comments

He is definitely one of the F2P saviour CB option as we had to struggle to get likes of Chilleni , Gilberto and many Level 2 PlayStyle players who costed minimum of 22k + and above , since it's first day i would expect many have packed him as people desperately going for R9 but don't shard him , his gameplay is worthy enough to become a strong pillar for time being until you feel any other player can be better option , Technical Aspect wise he is not only a great investment but an all rounded card right now in terms of CB pos and can be there to save you and your matches , just pair him with tall CB with Great combination of PlayStyles, Best example For now is Any 122 CBs from Previous event but Best with him is Desially as pairing

Also keep in mind his height is biggest drawback but ground gameplay is too solid to pass up on , but if you pack him , play him , if you are low overall play him , if you need good CB for now play him , one of the great Option For F2P but P2Ws hold for better CBs if you need , I have posted leaks so do check it on my page and lastly I have made this comparison while facing players as follows

Also I did hit 40 stars if y'all ask if it's Reliable review or no , I was previously 50 stars one too many times , reason to clarify is this point because the details I am pointing out many will tell you with better experience but I am part of this community who does his best to give honest and sincere review to assure your shards don't go waste , because last review I had done someone pointed that since I wasn't high level star player the review seemed unreliable but i hope you do like this , Sadly I don't have R9 but When I get good player I shall post a review !!!

Yes he's a solid st, good stats and If you love his cards and wanna enjoy the game then go for it. Although I would say Don't expect too much of him to perform like his HOL or TOTS cards if you're a nostalgia merchant like myself.

yeah he's smooth, skill moves are silky cause of trickster, good skill stun and pace is good but I wouldn't say he runs like mbappe or dembele but he's still fast enough and gets the job done. sometimes it takes a second to gain top speed though.

No complains about the Positioning and shooting they're 10/10, and physically solid unless he duels with a bruiser card then he may have a chance of loosing the ball. has good traits. heading is top tier. passing is good enough for a st.

i was waiting for a proper st and i couldnt pack him in drafts but signed him cause he's a club legend. if you have enough shards then go for it cause he's worth it. also keep in mind it's still only day 1 so he might get a buff later on. also the 20k price tag just to change the card design is WAY TOO much, and imo this card render itself looks pretty neat, but you do you.

Used a bunch of gems for this big fella(with shards), which probably would’ve been smarter to spread out through event but atp I just want cards I enjoy, and boy is this guy fun

Incredible shooting in and outside the box, solid powershot, low driven, whole package as you expect

Skill moves are just lightning fast, again, as expected. Shot fake is so great with him it’s perfect

Speed is just wow, no rapid playstyle but it sure feels like it, his acceleration with poacher is very good

Physicality is also quite solid

I hate him because he's so damn good. I love using him, but I HATE going against him. Reminds me of Utots Dembele all over again. He is SO HARD to guard in the hands of skilled players. Lost like 3 games in a row right before the H2H reset because I was getting fried by this card 😂. I've also been able to cook with him as well, and I will say I love him a lot when he's on my side 😂.

My credentials are in the second slide, I've tested him against good comp (mainly 120+ stars players) and I feel comfortable giving a review.

Long story short, this card lives up to the hype. This card is the type of card everyone was waiting for. After boxing fan favorites, and giving terrible playstyles to the fan favorites available for shards, we finally got a card done right. A while ago I made a review on numero Dembele. I concluded he was a fantastic winger, but he cannot replace Utots Dembele for an ST card IMO. He was not the "f2p savior." Now I know R9 costs an arm and a leg, but I can confidently say, without a doubt, this is Dembele's successor.

5 star weak foot. 5 star skill moves. Speed dribbler. Tries to beat offside trap. Outside foot shot. Gold trickster. Silver clinical finisher. 219 pace. Poacher. Outstanding stats. Holy shit man. We all knew he looked good, and I'm happy to inform that he's not just there to look pretty. He's of course a menace in game.

No recency bias, I'm confident declaring this card slightly better than my ginola and Vini. They're both fantastic cards, but I'll give r9 the edge, and here's why.

With gold trickster, his skill stun is phenomenal 10/10. He performs all skill moves perfectly. Elastico, heel chop, lane change, fake shot, roulette, heel to heel flick. Amazing body type, he's not as nimble as utots Dembele, but he's more nimble than ginola. But unlike Dembele he has much better physical, and a blistering 219 pace (10/10 pace) you can use to pace abuse a bit. Elastico pace burst is fantastic. I was cutting up pro defenses with ease, and my defense was getting fried too.

R9 also ofc has incredible shooting 10/10. Would a finesse shot have made him OP? Yes, but clinical finisher is lore accurate. I remember when I used my Eusebio I felt comfortable with the ball in his hands when it came time to shoot. I feel comfortable with ginola and vini, but there's a certain security you feel when you have a 5 star weak foot clinical finisher. Eusebio was that, and r9 is that now. He will smack that net with ease.

Positioning is fantastic 10/10. If you can't skill spam as much but you wanna find him in the box, he'll be there. High medium work rates, would've preferred high low but still very good.

Physical is pretty good too 9/10. He will get bullied by a Chiellini but who doesn't lol. He holds his ground for the most part. Solid passing as well 7/10.

If you were one of those people saving up and you're wondering is r9 worth it, congrats on your patience, this guy is worth it. He's got the skill stun of Dembele, the finishing of Eusebio and speed equivalent to mbappe. He's not going to feel exactly like any of those cards, he's his own unicorn. But I find once you get used to it, he's a smooth mf.

This is utots Dembele's successor, and I'm confident he will last a long time. I genuinely think he's better than Ginola and Vini (just by a taaad bit, not a significant margin). I'm just telling you that so you know how good this card is. He's box card level for sure.

Wasted 200K gems trying to get Nazario, only to pack Baresi THREE TIMES.

But honestly, I have to say this is undoubtedly one of the best bargains in FC Mobile history. For just 14K shards, Baresi is an absolute defensive monster.

This man can single-handedly control your entire defence, terrorize 129 OVR Nazario cards, and somehow run like a winger. Thanks to his Golden Anticipate playstyle, he can send your opponents' players flying while defending.

Excellent pace. Insane tackling. Rock-solid defending.

For me, this card is an easy 10/10. The fact that you can get him for only 14K shards makes it even crazier.

I came looking for Nazario, but maybe Baresi was the real prize all along.
