It's actually upsetting how bad the game is in general this year, I normally play career mode and quick sim a lot of games so I don't really care if the core football is bad however the basic thing that don't work in the menu's is driving me insane and I had to stop

1. Transfers in general are awful, players want to leave and there's nothing you can do about it. Even if they play most of the time
2. Sometimes transfer listed players ask to go on loan then it's impossible to sell them
3. Buying players in lower leagues is almost impossible, either they aren't interested in moving within the same league or someone else outbids you
4. I have always hated the RNG element of finding a 5 start youth scout and this year they almost never generate in my experience
5. The fatigue system make it impossible to start players as much as they want
6. The roles players get are crazy, Gravenberch for example at Liverpool is crucial and in reality he and Mac Allister rotate
7. I absolutely hate dynamic overall, the point of career mode for me is to see players permanent improvement which isn't displayed anywhere again this year
8. The screen designs are really poor, I want to see all the important information on one screen, a players dominant foot, their height, their rating etc. similarly the tranfer screens don't show you any details on included  installment plans, clauses etc unless you negotiate
9. Loans just don't work for youth players, they don't even get offers for 65+ rated 16 year olds that would light up lower leagues. They should give you a portfolio of maybe 3-4 clubs who want them with details on guaranteed minutes so you can choose what might be best for their development 
10. The bench order not saving is infuriating too, I like my order attack, mid, def and a GK
11. Small one but how has this game been 'improving' for nearly 30 years and there is still absolutely no option to manage the stadium in a meaningful way, for example if you get promoted you should be able to pay to build new stadium or improvements to your existing stadium or training facilities which in turn effect revenue
12. This has happened for years but the game is still generating youth center backs that are 5' 8 and therefore be useless in reality, would make sense if you could change them to RB or LB in less than 48 weeks or whatever the norm is
13. The little pop up press conference question are completely pointless and I just click the first reply ever single time

Lastly the gameplay when I do engage with it is awful, players don't make runs, passes are all over the shop, speed difference means absolutely nothing, all teams press like Klopp's prime Liverpool even in league 2

I have been playing Fifa since 1999 on PlayStation 1 and I genuinely think I will never buy it again. I tried ultimate team in the past but I don't enjoy it at all

For me, it was Como (Italy). I completed a full career mode save (15 seasons), and it really left a lasting impression on me. Despite struggling against the established giants of Italian football, the club gave me a great foundation to compete. On top of that, I became much more interested in the history of both the club and the city.

I’ve always had the same problem with Player Career in fifa(ea fc).
You can join a massive club as a young, low rated player and somehow become a regular starter almost immediately. It doesn’t really matter who’s already playing in your position or how well they’re performing.
And once you’re in the starting XI, it feels like you can barely lose your place.
So a couple of weeks ago, I released a mod called True Career.
The idea is pretty simple. your career shouldn’t revolve around you.
Your teammates compete with you for a place in the squad. Your performances matter, your manager’s trust matters, and you can genuinely end up on the bench or in the reserves.
I also recently released V1.1 for FC26, which improves the squad competition and introduces more opportunities for backup and reserve players to earn their way back into the team.
It’s still a work in progress, and there’s a lot I want to improve.
I’m also working on V2, which will focus on transfers and loans, because that’s another part of Player Career I’ve never really liked.

this shit happened to me with fc 26

I hate the whole player roles, unable to edit positions manually etc.

Many formations I try just dont work out well ans players leaving gaps, CDMs not doing their jobs, fullback leaving wide space etc

The worst bit is the midfielders ans attackers just congesting the edge of the box with little movement, causing sideways passing

This is the begining of my second season, 18 players from youth squad, all loan listed, not even a single offer for anybody!! I swear EA is doing this shit on purpose! I’m this close to breaking the goddamn controller!

Which formation and tactics would you recommend for someone who’s just starting out in Career Mode?

I’m currently using a 4-2-1-3 formation, but I’m struggling to get enough players forward when attacking. However, whenever I move my DMs up into a CM position, I become much more vulnerable defensively and start conceding more goals.

I’m playing on World Class difficulty. Like many others, I find Professional too easy, but World Class too difficult.

Any suggestions?

It took me over a month to see it. I've bought every FIFA since 2006. I'm a Career Mode and Pro Clubs guy. Every year I try Ultimate Team for an hour just to confirm it's still a pay-to-win slot machine, then I go back to Career.
This year is different. Career Mode is so stripped down and broken that FUT is genuinely the more enjoyable mode, and I don't think that's an accident.
I'm someone who has ignored FUT for 20 years, and I'm now seriously considering spending $50 on FIFA Points to improve my squad. That's the whole plan working exactly as designed: make the mode with no microtransactions miserable, make the one with microtransactions shine, and let players like me walk over on their own.

I keep watching youtubers doing these fun rebuilds while simming matches. I would love to do one of those as well. It seems like a chill way to watch a team and players grow. But I tried one and I think I'm doing something wrong. Did it with newport. Tried simming an entire season - lots of losses, tried upgrading players (selling, loaning because of the whiny players that don't have enough play time). Simmed another one. Still 15-17. Another one 20th and so on. How do they do it? What am I missing. Help is appreciated. Can't wait for your responses. Really excited. FC27 btw!

I would like to share something that I have created for myself to help make my FC27 manager career saves more engaging.

I have created a companion app called Manager HQ, where all the data from your FC27 save is automatically extracted into the application. This application is completely standalone and doesn't require Live Editor or any other software running while it is active.

The only thing I need for this to work is to have Python installed on my computer.

The current version of the app I have created does not change any game data and only reads from your FC27 save file. I will investigate a future version where it may be possible to alter game save data.

The app automatically syncs to my save file while I am playing and I run this on my second screen, while I play the game as I find it quite cumbersome to navigate the game's menus to get the information that I want and the layout of the data provided by the game is also not very intuitive.

The app also stores and tracks all my statistics and history for all leagues selected for deeper simulation. Played 6 seasons of career mode and want to see what your club, players and other leagues looked like when you first started ? No problem, just select the season you want to view from the pull down menu.

I have also created an asset pack which is separate from the main app which contains custom banners for all clubs from England, France, Germany, Netherlands, Portugal, Scotland and Spain for the app which displays their actual stadiums. The asset pack also contains all club and competition logos, player portraits, official colour schemes and fonts leagues and competitions for all men's competitions and leagues in the game. The asset pack is quite large and it is currently around 1GB and I probably need to optimise this as some of the images are in 4K and I should probably reduce the quality of the images. The size of just the app is ~50MB.

I have also created a Media Centre to display the social media posts that the game creates, but in a more structured way as I hate how the game does it. I also have several ideas not yet implemented about using AI to write articles regarding events and data from my save to try and create a living breathing world, but for now the media centre just uses the game generated posts and lays it out in a more intuitive manner.

Just wanted to share this as I'm quite pleased I have managed to build this for myself to increase my enjoyment of the game.

I had fun playing fc 26 career mode but when i tried fc 27's career mode i started with juventus. all the stars got alot of transfer offers so i tried to block for example Bremer but it said that he had requested a transfer. This happens to me with all clubs i play and it ruins the game for me. anyone else with this problem?

I'm doing a create a team youth career mode and I can't loan none of my youth players like I only was able to loan in one player in the fucking summer window and players I for sure put on loan is only getting offers for selling instead and it's pissing me off
