Club News [Pasquale Guarro] Inter were targeting Estoril as a satellite club, but the risk of relegation is raising concerns.
With only 2 points after 8 games in the league, Estoril is staring down the barrel of relegation to the Portuguese second tier, which would defeat the purpose of having a club in the top-flight as a side step before between the u23 and Inter.

Discussion I think next match against Fiorentina is a good chance to test Stankovic
Midfield has obvious defensive issues since most of them are technical players. I think Stanko could cover lot of ground as a DM. He was brought back specifically for that. It will also give the other guys some rest.

Discussion It's honesty a treat to watch Augusto on the pitch. And Mkhitaryan keeps proving his worth in the squad :)
What else can I say? The more I watch Augusto, the more I love him. He's a complete package. Makes fantastic offensive runs, produces amazing through balls / crosses, defends with his heart out and does everything for the badge.
You play him at LWB.
He delivers.
You play him at LCB.
He delivers.
You just can't not love him. The guy literally covers the entire length of the pitch. He changed the tempo of the game the minute he came on against Bologna. Scored a goal with his first touch and produced a game changing assist.
And yesterday he proved he can deliver performances like that again and again. We just have to keep our faith in him always. Augusto is here to prove a point.
And I'm sorry to Mkhitaryan. I really wasn't familiar with his game haha. He keeps proving no one in our squad can replicate his experience and vision. NO ONE. Period.
He dropped a masterclass of a performance in the Parma game. I remember most of us here groaned seeing him in the first XI. And at the end of the game, we felt like we owed the guy an apology. And then against Bologna, he came from the bench. And changed the tempo of our attack with his vision. Remember his through ball to Augusto that night? It was just marvellous.
And he did that again yesterday. Came of the bench at a crucial time. And literally provided what I think is, one of the smoothest through passes I've ever seen, and that with his weak foot as well. Absolutely game changing assist.
And I'll be honest. Pepo is a classy keeper on his best day. We gave him all that shit after the Club Brugge game. But we gotta remember, our defence looked very fragile that game. The entire fault is not on Pepo. He made crucial saves to keep us in the game against Bologna. And we wouldn't have left San Siro with all 3 points yesterday, if it wasn't for Pepo's save in the end. He was amazing.
And please keep starting Bonny. He feels so much more free / flexible than Pio. I just love seeing him on the pitch. He has that amazing hunger in him.
Hopefully we keep this form in the CL. Forza Inter 🖤💙 :)

Discussion Should "we" say sorry to Akanji already??
He went from the best Inter defender last year (in my opinion) to the worst this start of the season.
I think its safe to say he with Bisseck is still the most fit defender when he plays in his natural position.
What do yall think??

Team News Starting 11 for the Shaktar game, Bastoni in the middle.
Contrary to what was leaked initially, it's not Diouf and Mkhitaryan in the starters, but Sucic and Spence.
I have seen that Chivu took not one, but two defenders from the u23 to the bench, which tells me that Bastoni in the middle is not a creative choice as much as it is obligated, probably because of other players not feeling too well, or maybe it's a genius move I will be in awe of after the game🤷🏻♂️

Team News [GdS] "Inter-Shakhtar Donetsk: the idea that took shape during yesterday’s final training session at Appiano Gentile is an unfamiliar defensive setup: Bastoni in the centre, leading the back line, with Akanji on the right and Carlos Augusto on the left.”

Team News Despite the clear contact, Thuram not only got an unfair yellow card for “simulation,” but now he’s also been fined €2,000. 😂 Absolutely hilarious.

Quote Bastoni : The only thing I want to say, because I genuinely believe it, is that we need to look at reality a little more. Some time has passed since the finals. It’s not that we’re no longer that same team, but what happened in the Champions League should bring us back down to earth.

Transfer Market Inter SD Baccin was at the Monza-Cagliari game to observe 4 players directly.
Alessandro Romano, 2006 born DM, the talk of the town after his Italy callup, good technique and shot from distance.
Paul Mendy, 2007 born CF, straight from Cagliari's academy, he hasn't scored many goals, but he is doing a lot of dirty work for Pisacane's catenaccio, which shows mental strength and tactical awareness. Impressive physique for a 19 y.o.
Gustavo Varela, 2005 born CF, scoring goal after goal at Monza, purchased from Benfica in the summer ( 6 goals and 1 assist in 509 Serie A minutes).
Jay Robinson, 2007 born english winger, on loan to Monza from Southampton.
While it is confirmed that he was at the game, the players mentioned at this point could be entirely speculation.
Finally, as I watched the game in hopes of seeing Maye (didn't know he was out injured) or Massolin, I would highlight Fiorentina's Kouadio on loan to Monza, with also Monza's own Foe Ondoa, both of whom had a fantastic performance.
