The game locked R&D behind recognition so when Alonso retired it went wild lol

So I’ve had F12020 for a couple years, and ive always wanted to start a career on it since. However, my force feedback doesn’t feel like it matches in game wheel and just doesn’t feel right. I use a MOZA R9, does anyone have PitHouse settings that work well with 2020?

Everything seems to work appart from my braking input, which seems to be on 100 or off even with max linearity. Would anyone know how to fix this problem ?

I don't have this problem in other racing games.

Is anyone else having trouble with f1 25 crashing, it’s worked perfectly fine before with mods and now everytime I load into my career mode, it will show the usual helicopter shot of the track then it crashes, I’m using the simplified launcher with SERPS

This might sound like a daft question but I can’t remember if the lost parts carry over.

I feel like in my past saves if I didn’t bother saving my parts, when I moved teams the game would still say I lost parts even tho I’ve changed teams.

Am I tripping? I’m going from McLaren to Ferrari and rn McLaren is the fastest car

I want to stop putting on upgrades and just save up R&D points for when I move to Ferrari

Do I still need to save the McLaren R&D parts from the new regs even if I’m not staying?

Im looking to do a complete career starting with F1 2011/2012 and continuing all the way to f1 26. Is there a mod or modding community that helps the older games playable on modern hardware? I’m running a AMD 9800 X3D- Nvidia 4070 super with a fanatec DD1 and club sport wheel. I tried playing the older titles but struggled with how bad the driving was so I was hoping I could mod it into a playable career. I tried using Assetto with csp and cm and it’s absolutely incredible but the ai racing is just too bad to do a full career with 20+ lap races. Any help is greatly appreciated and if it’s not possible it’s not the end of the world

Been doing some finetuning and the AI is not bad around Sochi now - This is 100 AI difficulty

I don't get it, I'm new to this....but when I play career and I need to pit or tyres will worn out.... I'm the only car who goes to pit....every other team keeps driving....I know I need to be gentle on tyres to get me farther distance but I mean the whole race mate....only I box....is there anything I'm missing? Is there a setting I need to do or something, any help is much appreciated

All these years the F1 games were just way too arcadey for a lot of us esp wheel users.

I personally would like them to steer towards a more simulator like approach for 2027 see how that wroks,without abandoning controller users.If the game is too hard to work with for controller users Iron out the problems make it a bit more approachable for those guys perhaps

If you play without assists on controller, the cars just don't have any traction no matter what I do. I lose like 1 second to 80 difficulty AI in every slow corner. Even without using battery it's impossible to not spin at most corners. Like wtf is actually wrong with these cars? What do i have to change in the setup to counter this problem? Everytime i think i figured it out the next race just completly screws me over again. Miami felt impossible at first, but i got the hang of it. Now i'm in canada and it's the same shit again, but worse.

Any tips on how to avoid the crashes at the first corner.

I tend to crash everytime let the assist be on or off.

If i break early to avoid crash, i just crashed with player behind me

Obviously, playing against the AI is very different compared to playing against real people, but I feel that both the AI and the career mode itself are improving in some aspects. With that in mind, I wanted to know, Are you guys better at racing, do you wear out your tires faster, are you good at street racing, or what?
