I wanted to post this in another sub, so came here to find it again before realizing it never made it to this sub! Snatched it from the Ottawa sub instead.

Last night was epic, Ottawa fans went all out.

It’s nighttime in a kitchen just like yours. All is quiet. Or is it? House Hippos have knocked out Anne of Green Gables.

Today’s matchup is:
The Log Driver vs. Captain Canuck

To play, vote on either of the characters in today’s pairing to decide who moves on to the next round. The character with the most upvotes in each matchup advances until we declare our winner, “The Greatest Canadian Character”.

Notes:
• Two official ‘voting comments’ (with pictures of the characters) will be used to determine the winner. Feel free to upvote whatever and wherever else you like, but make sure you also upvote either of those two official comments if you want your vote to count.
• I’ll try to make these posts around the same time each day (~2:00-4:30 pm Eastern Time).
• For those asking, I used standard seeding practice of matching best against worst (#1 vs. #32, #2 vs. #31, #3 vs. #30, and so on) based on the voting results from nomination day.

Looks like Red kept his stick on the ice.
Nardwuar is out.

It cost 150 million dollars to hold the last referendum. I think we all can agree that this time it is money well spent.

I thought about using the Boob Bus but this makes more sense

But wait we can find 177,732 people too:

Do you agree that the Premier should be required to appear on all official documents as ‘Marlaina Danielle Smith’

Alberta born and raised - looking back from Kelowna!

Why are you still mad? I’m just doing what you told me to do last election.
