Hotel EDC solo

My best friend just had to cancel due to marital reasons

I have gone with him to ~8 EDCOs and 2 EDCLVs and now this will now be my first one solo

Feeling a bit lost as how to proceed from here? Should I just enjoy the vibes or try to find a group? EDC has placed me in a few sketchy situations before

EDC Ride Share Safety Tip: Use a PIN!

Post image
8 Upvotes

Heading to EDC Orlando? Whether you’re going to the festival or trying to find your way home afterward, here’s a simple way to make sure you’re getting into the right ride.

Both Uber and Lyft offer PIN verification to help protect riders.

Uber: Open your Uber app, go to Settings → Safety → Verify with a PIN, and turn it on. You can require a PIN for every ride or just nighttime trips.

Lyft: Lyft also supports PIN verification for rides. When it’s enabled or required for your ride, you’ll receive a four-digit code in the app.

How does it work?

  1. Request your ride as usual.
  2. When your driver arrives, check the license plate and vehicle details.
  3. Give your driver the four-digit PIN shown in your app.
  4. Your driver enters the code to verify the pickup before starting the trip.

Remember: Your PIN is for your actual driver, not someone messaging you or claiming to be your ride. Don’t share it until you’ve verified the vehicle.

With thousands of people leaving EDC at once, a little extra verification can prevent a whole lot of confusion.

Stay hydrated, look out for each other, and get home safely!

Stages and walks between

Hey fam, wife and I are going for the first time and stoked. Can I get a run down of the different stages? Is there normally like a house stage, bass stage, etc or is just a good mix on all of em?

Also I gave a feeling we’ll be bouncing around a good bit to take it all in. How long does it take to get around?

Thanks in advance!

So does everything I bring in my hydropack have to be uunopened or in its original packing for all 3 days? Just confused on how we're supposed to have everything unopened for all days if that's the case.

Do yall got any suggestions or tips on parking?

Hey guys this my second time coming and me and our group will be in a shuttle bus. What would yall recommend for parking? We’ll be about thirty minutes away from the venue. Last time it was a smaller group and we parked in some dudes driveway lol.

Anyone looking for hotel accommodation?

My friend is unable to go unfortunately so I have extra space in the hotel I’m staying at. Hotel is near the orange shuttle line and in a great area surrounded by attractions and the other hotels. Lmk if you are interested! Ideally looking for someone with PLUR :)

Little bit of background on me:
- 28M
- Hobbies: traveling, sports, origami, music (lol ofc)
- music genres: pop, house, bass, dubstep … I basically listen to all haha

first timer for EDCO, been to lost lands three times

heyyyy y’all! i’ve gone to lost lands and other smaller EDM shows (breakaway, haunted fest) and this is my first time for EDCO. lost lands this year in particular was so severely oversold and weather was hell and there was so much flooding. i’m so grateful I’m going but I’m still nervous from this past year at lost lands with this festival being oversold and the weather being bad. can anyone weigh in to help ease my nerves? thank you xx

Will they let me bring my Epilepsy Meds in?

Hi I’ve been to other festivals before, and I know every festival is different with medication. Is there some place I need to check my meds in with them, or as long as I show them that it’s a prescription med and I only bring as many as needed per day via the prescription notes, will I be okay? Just wondering if that will cause any issues

Ty :)))

First time ever. Pretty nervous. Going to EDC has been on my bucket list for ages and at 26 I’m finally going. Any tips, tricks, things to look out for? I’m going solo so it is what it is. Also super last minute. I know. Where would be the best place to stay at?
