(Thanks to the mods for letting us post!)

If you've ever wanted to create your own hockey player and work your way up to the big leagues, or try your hand at running a team, come check out the Simulation Hockey League (SHL).

SHL is a free, browser-based hockey simulation league with a mobile app. We've built our own simulation engine that handles every game automatically, so there's no spreadsheets or manual simming involved.

There are two main ways to get involved:

🏒 Create a Player: Start out in the juniors, develop your skills, and enter the Entry Draft. From there, you can sign contracts, get traded, spend time in the minors, and hopefully build a long career in the majors.

💼 Become a GM: Take control of a major-league team and its minor-league affiliate. Manage your lines, special teams, and tactics, make trades, claim players off waivers, and figure out how to build a winning team while staying under the salary cap.

Games are simulated daily, and major-league games are broadcast live with an overhead view of the action, play-by-play commentary, replays, box scores, and detailed stats. We also have playoffs, awards, and a Junior Cup.

Everything is handled through our website or mobile app, so you can check in, develop your player, or manage your team whenever you have time.

We're always looking for more hockey fans to join the community, whether you want to be a player, a GM, or both. It's completely free to get started!
