Customer sent me the shell parts and I installed them along with an LED kit, clicky triggers and K-Silver TMRs. Turned out very nice.

After completing a shell swap, realized I forgot to put the pad here between the battery and back shell. How important is it? I don’t feel like disassembling the whole thing just for that if it’s not needed, but will if I should.

I have had my ps5 for a little less than a year now, and I came home one day to find this scratch on my controller! Does anyone know a good way to get rid of this?

Long story short: I was repairing my back paddles and accidentally broke the battery connector from the cables. Ordered the one below, and I can confirm it works. I don’t know how long the old one lasted but I am currently timing the new one after fully charging it. I’m at 3h14m so far and 2 out of 3 bars left. Mainly playing TW3 and 30 minutes of Spider-Man 2. Lights set to dim and everything else on and maxed out.

If my info is correct, the standard battery is 1050 mAh. This upgrade is 2220 mAh, so it should last longer.

I hadn't used the controller in a few months, pending a move. Finally got to my destination and unpacked everything. Nothing I do with the controller plugged into the PS5 works. If I plug it into a USB cable in a power source, the orange light comes on briefly then goes off and nothing else happens. No light comes on at all if I plug it in directly to the console, and no buttons respond. I have tried resetting the controller with the little hole in the back but this did not change anything. Is the controller dead? Do I need a replacement battery or a whole new controller? Thank you for any help you can provide.

After my little brother threw the gamepad on the floor i have been trying to fix it with no success, now im thinking of buying a replacement part. Can someobe help me figure out which part to order? (L/R triggers for comparison)

Je veux dire, j'ai un Marius 3 pins avec des K-Silver JS13 Pro+, mais les joystick sont tellement rigides comparés aux originaux que j'ai l'impression de lutter contre eux, et je ne me sens pas très réactif. J'ai essayé le Tarantula pour voir, mais c'était le total opposé, les joysticks glissaient comme du savon. Je ne me suis pas senti très à l'aise avec même si j'ai réussi à jouer avec, mais après une semaine, j'ai décidé de le retourner. J'avais l'habitude du DualSense Edge d'origine.

Еле как заменил стики чутка криво но все работало какое то время и после джойстик просто выключился я начал его разбирать снял черный пластик что бы добраться до болтов и он заработал и минуты через две просто погас и не как не реагирует не на что.
После этого нашел в интернете фото с обозначение где должен проходить ток и там где возле USB где должно быть 0,42v у меня 0 и все левая сторона тоже ноль. Помогите пожалуйста 🥲

I'm doing some experiments and this method worked better than RIT dye at making this shell look like an aged PS1 controller from 1999. The RIT was very uneven and was slowly getting on my hands as it dried. The coffe is even, holding color, and smells great lol. Love the cream color.

I just put a cup of instant coffee in a pot of water deep enough to cover the ABS shell entirely and heated it around 5-6 ish minutes at 200ºF

So, my PS5 dualsense controller is not registering touch. I'm not sure when this started, because I have two identical and I rarely used that feature (I may have luckily used the one working when I did).
I tried using https://webcammictest.com/gamepad/ to test the controller with my pc. Everyhing registers fine, except the touch swipe.
I also tried re-pairing the controller to the station, did not fix. When switched to the second controller that one works fine.
I am running out of ideas. The ribbon should be fine, it was never opened and if faulty I guess that the click would also not go through.
Has this ever happened to you? Do you have any ideas? I appreciate your help.

Does it support dualsens Controller fully in pc from steamrip ?

Hi, so I just bought this remote and it works fine but the haptic feedback back features are not working,(vibration, adaptive triggers, speaker or microphone). The weird thing is that when testing out different games the vibration seemed to work when playing the ps4 version of a game, but when playing the ps5 version nothing happens at all. There is also no vibrations when going through the Playstation menus etc. The only time it has worked was when playing a ps4 version game.

And yes I have gone into the controller settings and set everything to the strongest setting and I have also reset the remote and there has still been no change.

Does anyone know what may be the problem?

Hello, i have done a software update on my PS5 recently and since, i have noticed both my dualsense controller vibrations sound weird. I have the setting set to ‘weak’ as i dont want too strong vibration, but i noticed it instantly after the update it felt a lot stronger than ‘weak’ and even makes weird alien like noises or kinda like when you lose in pac-man.

Online it said something like click the mute button on the controller, then change the vibration setting then, restart the Ps5 and switch it all back, but that didn’t work. I tried using a pin and hold for 5 seconds on the back of the controller and it didnt make any difference. My PS5 says it’s on system software 26.06-14.10.00.03-00.00.00.01 (no clue if that helps at all).

I don’t really know what to do to fix it, it’s driving me nuts. I have trialed loads of different games and they all make the controller vibration a lot stronger and make weird noises like in the video i attached. It might have absolutely nothing to do with the software update i just thought it was a crazy coincidence that this all started the minute after doing the update on both controllers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated
