I'm doing some experiments and this method worked better than RIT dye at making this shell look like an aged PS1 controller from 1999. The RIT was very uneven and was slowly getting on my hands as it dried. The coffe is even, holding color, and smells great lol. Love the cream color.

I just put a cup of instant coffee in a pot of water deep enough to cover the ABS shell entirely and heated it around 5-6 ish minutes at 200ºF

I have had my ps5 for a little less than a year now, and I came home one day to find this scratch on my controller! Does anyone know a good way to get rid of this?

Long story short: I was repairing my back paddles and accidentally broke the battery connector from the cables. Ordered the one below, and I can confirm it works. I don’t know how long the old one lasted but I am currently timing the new one after fully charging it. I’m at 3h14m so far and 2 out of 3 bars left. Mainly playing TW3 and 30 minutes of Spider-Man 2. Lights set to dim and everything else on and maxed out.

If my info is correct, the standard battery is 1050 mAh. This upgrade is 2220 mAh, so it should last longer.

Hi, so I just bought this remote and it works fine but the haptic feedback back features are not working,(vibration, adaptive triggers, speaker or microphone). The weird thing is that when testing out different games the vibration seemed to work when playing the ps4 version of a game, but when playing the ps5 version nothing happens at all. There is also no vibrations when going through the Playstation menus etc. The only time it has worked was when playing a ps4 version game.

And yes I have gone into the controller settings and set everything to the strongest setting and I have also reset the remote and there has still been no change.

Does anyone know what may be the problem?

Hello, i have done a software update on my PS5 recently and since, i have noticed both my dualsense controller vibrations sound weird. I have the setting set to ‘weak’ as i dont want too strong vibration, but i noticed it instantly after the update it felt a lot stronger than ‘weak’ and even makes weird alien like noises or kinda like when you lose in pac-man.

Online it said something like click the mute button on the controller, then change the vibration setting then, restart the Ps5 and switch it all back, but that didn’t work. I tried using a pin and hold for 5 seconds on the back of the controller and it didnt make any difference. My PS5 says it’s on system software 26.06-14.10.00.03-00.00.00.01 (no clue if that helps at all).

I don’t really know what to do to fix it, it’s driving me nuts. I have trialed loads of different games and they all make the controller vibration a lot stronger and make weird noises like in the video i attached. It might have absolutely nothing to do with the software update i just thought it was a crazy coincidence that this all started the minute after doing the update on both controllers.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

So I've been trying to get my DualSense Edge repaired (or, more than likely, replaced) by Sony & PlayStation Repairs for like 6 months now. The left back button registers unwanted inputs and even input releases when holding the button. Switching to the back button from the paddle seems to fix it, but I prefer the paddles. Obviously, no big deal, who tf even cares, right?

Everytime I try to get it repaired, the box Sony sends me to return the controller in never gets delivered. I don't know why, support doesn't either. Anyway, figured I'd try one last time since my warranty is up in like a month or two. And, here's the rant...

So I bought this controller off a person on vinted who gave me the invoice for warranty (and it was just two days ago he bought it). Package arrived with the box squashed and electric bands over the box (not quite the picture he sent before shipping to me … box looked perfect). The stick stalks don’t look abused … but certainly the marks on the controller especially the gash cannot be factory … box was sealed (and I’d think to remove the controller from the bottom will be difficult without tearing the box)

My question. Does this look like a new controller (with some defects from the factory) or a used controller ?

my controller keeps going to the sides and dont know how to fix this.

I connected it to Dualsense-tools.github.io but when i tested the haptic feedback the controller disconnected and i cant put it on nomore. Did it die?

I just soldered K-Silver TMR to a BDM-010 controller. None of the sticks work as expected. Calibration can't fix it.

I'm almost sure this is an issue on my end during the soldering. I can't figure out what or how to troubleshoot.

Does anyone here has any suggestions?

I’ve been working on a free mod for the GuliKit Goku 2 wireless controller adapter, and version 1.0 is out.

What it adds:

• 🖱️ Touchpad as a mouse. In Xbox 360 mode, a PS5/PS4 controller’s touchpad works as a PC mouse. Tap to left-click, hold to right-click, press and move to drag, and use two fingers to scroll.
• 🎮 Button remapping, turbo and toggle buttons
• 🕹️ Stick, trigger and D-pad tuning, including deadzones and SOCD
• 💾 Settings are saved on the adapter itself, so they work on any PC or console.
• 🧪 Live input test in the app

How it works: a Windows app builds the modded firmware on your PC from your own copy of GuliKit’s official V3.4 firmware, which you download from their site. It then installs it on the adapter in a couple of clicks. You can go back to the official firmware from the same screen at any time.

The project doesn’t include or share any of GuliKit’s code, and it’s completely free.
