Happy day

Saw this on X and really liked the alternate head design without the round eye and teeth.

I think it would look much better with Terrorblade's Arcana, especially for those of us who prefer the original Arcana aesthetic.

Would be great if Valve could add this as a second selectable style while keeping the current one.

What do you guys think?

I already own Drow Ranger's Dread Retribution Arcana, but I wanted the Helsing set, so I opened the chest. Now I'm stuck with a duplicate Arcana that serves absolutely no purpose.

Valve, please give existing owners a way to actually utilize these duplicates. Here are a few possible solutions:

1. Make the duplicate Arcana giftable within 30 days not only when bundled with the Helsing set. Even if it's just the Dread Retribution bundle, at least we could give it to someone who would actually use it.
2. Allow us to consume the duplicate to automatically unlock Style 2. This would give the duplicate some actual value.
3. Introduce an exclusive Style 3 for duplicate owners. If Style 2 is meant to reward players who grind Drow Ranger games, then let us unlock a third style instead.

Please stop leaving existing owners with duplicate Arcanas that have absolutely no use.

We paid for these rewards too. At least give us something meaningful in return.

I’m back with another big update to my Underlord guide! If you don’t know me, I used to be the #1 Underlord on Dotabuff. I took a long break from Dota, came back a while ago, and I’ve been grinding to bring my old ideas up to date with the current patch.

My last update was all about Firestorm spam. This one goes back to what Underlord does best: catching people and not letting them leave. It’s for players who like hunting people down and making the enemy team scared to walk anywhere alone.

The build

• Soul Ring + Arcane Boots: your spells cost a lot of mana early. These keep you casting nonstop.
• Rod of Atos: your catch. Root whoever’s out of position, then drop Pit and Firestorm on them.
• Aghanim’s Shard: Firestorm follows you, so just walk into their team and let everything burn.
• Gleipnir: upgrade Atos into it. Its root hits a big area, so you can catch a few heroes at once.
• Aghanim’s Scepter: your Fiend’s Gate drops a Pit at both ends, so they get rooted the moment you show up.
• Crella’s Crozier: cuts their healing, which is brutal against late-game Satanic carries. The active makes you immune to physical damage, which is perfect against right-clickers like Terrorblade. Cast Firestorm on yourself with Shard, pop Crozier and walk through them: you steal their speed, they burn longer and Pit roots them again. Avoid using it in front of mages. If they buy Nullifier for you, that’s gold they didn’t spend on your team.

The build is flexible. Read the game and adjust. Swap in Shiva’s Guard if you need more armor and slow, or move items around depending on what the enemy has. As long as you keep catching people, you’re doing it right.

The combo: Pit, then Gleipnir, then Pit roots them again. A stun from a teammate buys time for one more root.

Catch them. Root them. Root them again. They wanted to leave, but the Pit had other plans.

Bounty Hunter was the most contested hero. He was allowed to play 4 times and won all of ‘em. Hitler at number 3. The 2 biggest jumpers from Wallachia were NP (23rd, +21) and Brew (33rd, +27). Otherwise, the rest looks similar to Wallachia.

Slark & MK are great answers to meta heroes Ember & Earth Spirit. Believe it or not, there are teams still picking Ember without banning Slark. Slark’s only loss came at the hands of Lou/Yakult vs Liquid. MK is a bit more flexible. He was used in 3 different core positions (once in the offlane by ATF). Ame & Chira Junior are MK’s biggest fans.

Averages for heroes are at a minimum of 5 games played

• Hoodwink was the most picked with 48 games. 21 wins. 27 losses is the most of the tourney. 43.75% wr.
• Willow had the second-highest games played at 45 and finished with 23 wins, the most in the competition.
• Slark has the highest kills average at 14.11
• Satanic holds the highest kills in a game with 24 on NP and Slark (9036774670, 9038120227)
• Clock averaged the highest deaths at 10.75 and the highest assists at 22.63 in 8 games.
• Mira had the most deaths with 19 on Willow against his former team, Spirit (9038120227)
• Maladych’s Techies and Dukalis’ Hoodwink share the record for most assists at 35 each (9037858327, 9038120227).
• NP had the highest average GPM (872) and highest average Hero Damage (40.8k).
• Skiter’s 1195 GPM, 175k hero damage, & 32.5k tower damage on NP against 1win in the Upper Bracket Quarterfinals are the highest of the event. In the same match, Ari’s KotL had the highest healing recorded at 46.2k (9034882975)
• TA had the biggest XPM with 1059 averaged across 6 games.
• Satanic’s TA got 1413 XPM in Pari’s seeding match vs Aurora. (9027486175)
• PL has the most last hits, averaging 717 in 5 games.

Teams

• Spirit played the most games at 20. 11 wins, 9 losses. 55% wr. They were the only team to have beaten Yandex this season (seeding match).
• Yandex won the most games with 14 victories and lost 5. The best win rate at 73.68%.
• The shortest average game duration was Mouz at 40:36 in the 4 games they lost.
• Aurora had the longest average game time at 48:59 across their 16 games.

If there are other stats you would like to see, please comment so I can think of including them. I want to include objectives, but I need to think about how to bundle them together.

I know it's not Divine/Immortal but after ~1800 Games on SEA, exclusively playing Pos 4/5, I've touched Archon for the first time!

I’ve been dreaming of this courier since I was young, back when you could trade rares and mythicals for keys. Owning one was my biggest wildest dream.

Now, as an adult, I finally got my hands on a Genuine Ice Baby Roshan with its original gems. I couldn’t be happier to finally own my dream Dota 2 item.

P.S. My girlfriend and I don’t plan on having children, so we have disposable income. I told her this cost $300 😅, and she couldn’t believe I’d spend that much on in-game pixels.
