I just put this together tonight wanting to use it on my generator. Cord is about 10 feet I think. Do you think it will work? 8 gauge wire. I only plan on using maybe 3 sockets.
Very much not a detailer at all just enjoy keeping my car nice, I’ve got quite a lot of overspray on the front end of my car where it clearly wasn’t masked off enough. What’s the best way to remove this? Clay or some sort of acetone/thinner? Bonnet has been painted in the past but wings are factory paint
Bought this 4runner a little while ago the car has alot of scratches and some fading clear coat . I'm not expecting to look brand new but wondering what I can do to improve the exterior, whitout using paint. Any recommendations and step by step process would be greatly appreciated thank you
I’ve got two spots on my truck where a body shop did a poor job and the clear coat has faded. I was using some swirl removal polish last night and didn’t think about it sticking into the bad spots, now I’m left with this. It’s a lot more pronounced irl. The rest of the truck has solid 10’ paint given its 20 years old so I’m not expecting or asking for a miracle, I’d just like to clean up my mistake.
Hey guys, I own a '95 Mercedes W124 and it's got some aged clearcoat with swirl marks around everywhere and milky spots like these on the photo. I wanna detail it myself, I've already got wax and shampoo, but don't have any polishing equipment yet.
Is this oxidation that I could polish or sand away, or has the clearcoat failed and I should leave it to an expert? I have zero detailing experience and don't have a clean garage to work in, only outdoors.
Hello all. Wanted to share my simple quick detailing area. 3d printed some holder's for some stuff. The bulk containers are stored away. Let me know if you have any ideas on adding anything.
Sorry, I know I saw it here a bunch of times. There was a soap (BH?) that encouraged letting it dry before rinsing? With the cold weather coming up, I was thinking about spraying my truck at home and then driving to the car wash (5 min), rinsing there, then using the same water to spread a wet coat type product.
Hey folks, I left my car with a car cover on for a week and noticed theres some weird spots on my roof and my left side rails. After doing some research I acknowledged this is a moisture damage caused by the car cover as my house were raining during that week.

On the day I spotted this problem, I immediately parked my car under the sun for a noon and fortunately the roof spots disappeared. But since then the side rail's spots still persists, and I have tried to heated up the side rail spots with a hairdryer as I do not have a heat gun, the spots are still there, may I know is there any other way I can fix this? Or is this damage already permanent?
Long story short my car ended up with same marks on the door panel- will I be able to use compound to get this out or do I need to wet sand it? Or could this be even worse?
Was cleaning my car (Toyota Camry) and somehow I ended up doing this to the dashboard. Didn’t even use any harsh chemicals, product was diluted 20:1. I tried scrubbing but didnt seem to help, anyone know what I can apply or do to get rid of this?
