Hiring [Hiring] Designer to polish a few screens of a mobile app ($80 max)

We're building an Android app that helps high school students prepare for their final exams: theory, quizzes, a study plan, streaks/XP, a 1v1 quiz arena with friends, and chat.

The app and its design already exist (clean, iOS-like, dark + light, with a written design system).

What we need:

- A better home screen layout. Right now it feels crowded.

- Small fixes on 3-4 other screens (spacing, hierarchy, consistency).

You'll get screenshots of every screen, the design system doc, and we can provide a test build.

Requirements:

- A strong portfolio with real mobile app work

- You understand design systems and can explain your decisions

- Your own work, not AI-generated concepts

- A short video call (15-20 min, English) before we start

Budget: $80 max, fixed.

DM only, please don't reply in the comments. Send your portfolio and a line on how you'd approach the home screen.

Hiring [Hiring] Designer to create mood board templates ($50 a template)

Hey everyone!

We're looking for designers for our template design gig for Onton, an SF-based tech startup building a product search engine specifically for interior design.

We recently launched a digital Canvas feature that lets users build mood boards for home projects. We’re looking a few design students with a strong visual eye to help us build out our initial library of featured templates. You can think early days of Canva when they were launching their template ecosystem, but tailored for interior design and mood board aesthetics.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Designing aesthetic, well-curated mood board templates using our online Canvas tool and product search engine. (onton.com/canvas)
  • Experimenting with interior design styles, color palettes, and spatial product pairings.
  • Building featured launch work that will be front and center for our current 1M per month active users (great resume piece!).

Compensation & Scope:

  • Pay: $50 per template.
  • Scope: We'll start with 1 initial template as a trial run. If it's a mutual fit, we'd love to extend the gig and assign batches of multiple templates!
  • Format: 100% remote and flexible timeline.

Ideal fit:

  • Current student or graduated in Interior Design, Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or UI/UX.
  • Strong eye for visual layout, curation, and color theory.
  • Interest or experience in interior design, furniture, or home aesthetics is a huge plus.
