I have two partially built Daft Punk helmets, a gold Guy-Manuel (rainbow LED bar segments) and a silver Thomas (visor display). The electronics are mostly installed but not working reliably, and neither is set up to be worn comfortably yet. I want to get the lights functioning and both helmets made wearable.

I’m in the Los Angeles area (Near Pasadena). Looking for:

1. Someone local who can do hands-on work (Preferred) or:
2. A builder anywhere who’ll take a mail-in job with a quick turnaround.

What’s already inside: a board labeled “Main Board Rev2,” rainbow LED bar modules, an EL/reflector visor panel, and AA battery packs. Photos below.

Who did you use for yours, and would you recommend them? Any makers who take commissions/repairs for these specific helmets? Rough cost/turnaround info appreciated too.

Thanks!

The hopes of one day Daft Punk making a final tour is simmering down.

If Rockstar can’t bring them back for allegedly an “unlimited budget”, on one of the biggest forms of entertainment, I don’t think anything else can.

found this on a delivery bike wandering in Chengdu

Hi everyone, I don't think this really solid, full-orchestra version of Aerodynamic is very well known, so I’m sharing it so you can enjoy it too.

From last year

Hi everyone! I wanted to show off mine and my brothers Daft Punk costumes that I made for a Halloween party.

I wanted to do my own thing with the designs but I was definitely inspired by the Starboy era outfits. As you can see from the concept sketch, the outfits changed quite a bit through the making process.

I did not make the helmets or the gloves. A friend was kind enough to lend those to me, but everything else was made by me. And I edited the photos, mainly for color correction, background removal, and to fix our baggy necks (I didn't have time to make anything better). But no AI was used in the process, if anyone is wondering.

This was a big deal for me and my brother since we've been wanting to dress up as Daft Punk since we were kids. I hope you guys like em!

There is a restock in the Alpha Industries website for the HAA Collab

I'm sitting at headquarters blasting this amazing gift that we all can have, and I lost my mind lost in the moment the experience..... not since seeing my favorite band ever, PanterA in 1995, but I felt like I was seeing the Robots live... regrettably and I'll never forgive myself never was able to.

Is it valuable (Still sealed with shrink wrap)?

This was inspired by “Troobadoor” and “Mosqutio.”
I sampled “Groove On” by Willie “Beaver” Hale.

NO Ai was used.

“Snowy Entree” is a nod to Le Knight Clubs iconic song “Santa Claus”, btw :)

With the end of Daft Punk, maybe there’s a chance Stardust may return? It’s been almost thirty years and Stardust has made only one song.

Ho pensato a un mashup delle compilation di daft punk e Michael Jackson

Hello all, I wanted some advice on the outfit I should do with my GM helmet. I wanted to try and pull off their 2001 Gap ad outfit look, or should I just go with the classic tuxedo look? all input’s appreciated.

Sorry for poor quality, I couldn’t quite screen record live tv lol

J’y découvre des choses interessantes 🤷‍♀️
