So I’m replacing my ball joints control arms, inner/outer tie rods, sway bar links.
In Texas and all bolts are ruśt free. Soaked all bolts and nuts with PB Blaster before I started and during disassembly.
After removing the cotter pin I couldn’t get the castle nut off of the ball joint. Had to use a wrench. About 1/2” clearance between top of bolt and steering knuckle.
Anyway, removed cotter pin, PB Blasted it and let it soak for at least an hour, blasted it again, even torched it but couldn’t remove it. Now the damn nut is stripped!
I don’t think I can get a nut splitter over the bolt and don’t think it would split the hardened nut anyway? Thought about drilling it but again it’s a black hardened nut. Seems like my only option is to cut it off with an angle grinder?
What do you all think? Thanks

Recently replaced exhaust manifold on 2008 Chevy Colorado 2.9 , can't figure out where to connect this loose ground wire which is apparently essential for the truck to fire up - wire is in the above picture - tried several areas no luck so far

Hi all, I’m trying to replace the chrome trim on my 2026 Tahoe, does anyone know how to release these push clips on the trim? Is there a specific tool other than standard trim removal tools?
Thank you in advance!!

Also would the best option just to be cut it off and replace using a regular bolt?

I know it would be best to just replace it, but I can't afford that right now, and driving without it in my state will cause me to fail my yearly inspection.
I'm wondering if I can take it off and use a rubber mallet or something to bend it back into a closer to normal shape, then use something like JB weld on the cracked tabs, replace some clips and try to get it mostly back on correctly, with minimal zip ties. But I've never tried to fix a bumper cover before and I'm not sure if that's the best approach.
I would appreciate any advice that doesn't involve spending more than $100, atleast until I can properly replace it.
TIA
