Documents obtained by the Current show the Texas attorney general let payday lenders boost rates with unregulated products around the same time the industry pumped $34,000 into his campaign coffers.

Yet, Paxton says he's tough on crime 🙄

I’m working on a documentary about humanizing and putting faces to the labor that created useful but mundane parts of our lives. I am on a section about the highways around DFW and the people who built them. I would like to do a very easygoing and personal interview about someone who worked on a highway, who they are and how they feel about their work

I’d love to meet anyone who worked on highway construction here, in any role: laborers, equipment operators, flaggers, inspectors, engineers, surveyors, or retirees.

If you or someone you know (a parent, a neighbor, a coworker) fits, comment or DM me. You don’t need a polished story. I'm looking for the little stuff, like weird job-site moments or what it was like to work on a road you still drive.

Thanks!

• No Direct Votes: Hinojosa never directly voted to impose a property tax increase, and the Texas state legislature itself does not levy property taxes (property taxes in Texas are set by local governments and school districts).

• Nature of the Votes: The 40 cited votes were procedural or opposing votes against GOP-backed legislation designed to cap local government revenue growth, limit debt-related tax rates, and restrict disaster exemptions.

• Hinojosa’s Position: Hinojosa and her supporters maintain that she voted to preserve local control for cities, counties, and school districts rather than voting to raise taxes. Her campaign also sent cease-and-desist letters to Texas television stations attempting to pull the Abbott attack ad.

Hey do you know a place where I can get videogame OST on vinyl?

Are there any video game stores near Justin or Roanoke? I know about Gaming vault and found it but those are far and expensive!

New to the city. Is there a club for wakeboarding and waterskiing that I could make friends in?

Tuesday belonged to Mikko Rantanen. Thursday, Roope Hintz scored with two minutes left in regulation and again in overtime to beat Winnipeg 3–2.

Rantanen supplied two assists, Johnston scored his first of the season, and Dallas killed all four Winnipeg power plays. A busy night behind a familiar final score.

We have GOT to take back Texas roads from private corporations. Tolls are supposed to cover the EXPENSE of road construction, not a profit for the operators.

The added expense of $25 late fees per month are abusive to the taxpayers who drive on Texas toll roads.

I got my associates in business and can’t find a job due to the horrible job market. I’ve always been curious into the electrical and welding trade. Don’t know where to look always look it up and leads me to Tulsa welding expensive and Lincoln tech.

It's a TITAL WAVE!!! Get Out there and vote people, it sure would be a shame. There's obviously no way these crooked pedophile protectors are gonna do anything good so we might as well get them out and try to convict them OUT and try to redistribute the wealth that they have been stealing from us!!!

My wife will be there for the fourth year in a row and I just want to say thank you to everyone who comes out there just to look around. Just being there to observe the art creates such a loving accepting vibe for not just my wife but every artist. She never thought she was good enough to sell her stuff for money and to get love bombed for 12 hours straight really fuels the fire she has inside. She lights up every room she walks into and has brought me out of darkness more times than I know so to see her take a chance on herself and her form of expression be so accepted by this lovely city makes me so proud to be her husband as well as a Fort Worth resident.

Kayleigh Gets Creative is the name of her booth and we’ll be located right by Maggie’s R&R. I can’t wait to see y’all and if you feel so inclined to mention this post to her I would love the husband points. With the perfectly beautiful life she’s given me this is very least I can do. LOVE Y’ALL!

Hi! I just moved to the South Fort Worth area, and am looking into connecting with a swim coach. I am very very new to lap swimming, and have looked into places like Sigma Swim but can't justify $150/month - I am on a tight budget. Any ideas or anyone who might be interested?

Hey I’m headed out to vote right now.. I’m going to vote AGAINST republicans, as should every true Texan.

I’m going to vote FOR Dems, for greens.

My vote will help shut down ICE, will help shut down tChump, will help shut down abbott, patrick, paxton.. and any other losers who won’t see the people.. they only see profits.. prisons, booze, oil, pills.

This shameful conservative disease will end.

And if doesn’t end with my vote, I have faith in the future and I know they will see the truth.
They will know if you voted for republicans. They know how traitorous cowards look.

Conservatives (or bots) in the comments, know you are the cowards.
And we’re ignoring you and moving forward with our world.
