Incredible work by @hellebore.ink in Huntersville, NC. More to come in 2027

Ive been reading a lot into the known cosmere cosmology. And I've seen some theories suggest adonalsium is actually a little g god. And that he isnt the absolute universal authority. And it seems the Aether might support this idea? Since the Aether is sort of outside ado/the shards realms of authority?

Also there was a QnA he did where sanderson said that ado might be a Demiurge (lesser creator) in the cosmere. But i think he intends to leave this unresolved for the most part.

So my question is this, do you think ado is a lesser god like a demiurge? Also, what all do we know about the Aether so far in the cosmere?

I know theres not a lot currently, but I'm trying to compile all the information regarding divinity and its nature in the cosmere that I can.

I have read virtually all the cosmere (minus white sand and in-between stormlight novellas) but my wife recently got into it and we are reading through it together. I am chronically online, and REALLY don't want any spoilers for FoD, but I want to make sure my wife reads all relevant books before we read it together (for example {mild spoiler} mistborn era 1 before tress ) and just wanted to know what our next one should be. FYI, we are reading through elantris now, and she has already read MB era 1, yumi, tress, stormlight 1, secret history, and silence and the forest of hell. Any others she/we should read before to get the full impact of FoD?

I read Elantris when the movie came out and I had the soundtrack while reading Elantris and now I can't separate them. I heard the track: Odysseus and I only see Raoden with his broken body finishing the Aon

I'm a good chunk of the way through Stormlight (Early book 4) and I've been reading not listening to them. I've kind of come to the realization that I may want a book stand for them. Problem is I have no frame of reference for sizes or anything with book stands. I got one and it's far too small for the books.

Does anyone have recommendations for stands that can support these big as heck books?

For context, I have read and adored every other book in the Cosmere. I'm at chapter 26 and am really struggling to continue. I thought the audiobook might help me get through it, but the narrators somehow have made it worse.

I know I can just drop the book and move on if I don't like it, but I'm wondering if anyone else felt this way and powered through to find it was worth the read? Thanks.

Edit: thanks for the feedback. I'm going to keep reading through part 2, and I suspect I'm going to power through regardless. I've had similar experiences with other series and end up enjoying it. I've only ever DNF'd a few books, and they were really bad. Emberdark isn't that bad, and from what I've gathered from the comments, Starling gets better.
