So this little gem showed up in my mailbox!

The new Marvel Rivals Cloak & Dagger Funko Pops arrived last week, which is particularly hilarious because apparently they haven't even been officially released yet? I have absolutely no idea how I managed that, but I'm certainly not going to complain.

I cannot adequately express how much I love seeing these two get more merchandise. I've been collecting Cloak & Dagger for years, and there's something genuinely delightful about watching my favorite obscure, melodramatic, perpetually traumatized superheroes get immortalized as tiny plastic bobbleheads.

Anyway, here's another little addition to the collection! One of my favorite things about building this archive is getting to document the brand-new pieces of Cloak & Dagger history alongside all the weird, wonderful, and occasionally ridiculous things Marvel has produced over the last four decades.

Has anyone else gotten their hands on these yet?

Edit: If you want to check out the live Google sheet of my Cloak and Dagger complete issue archive, there's a link in my profile. Happy collecting!

Hello, fellow Cloak & Dagger fans!

I've been collecting Cloak & Dagger comics and researching their publication history, and one thing I've noticed is that there really isn't a single comprehensive list of all their appearances.

There are some great resources out there, but many of them miss the smaller, stranger appearances. Single-panel cameos, obscure crossover issues, variant covers, handbook entries, and other little pieces of the characters' publishing history can be surprisingly difficult to track down.

So I decided to start building my own archive!

The goal is to document every physical comic book appearance of Cloak and/or Dagger, no matter how small.

That includes:

- Main series, miniseries, and one-shots

- Guest appearances and crossover events

- Minor cameos, including single-panel appearances

- Cover-only appearances and variant covers

- Flashbacks and other identifiable appearances

- Official Handbook entries and related reference material

- Trade paperbacks and collected editions

- Obscure appearances that traditional reading lists tend to overlook

One important distinction: this is an appearance archive, not just a reading-order list -- though it absolutely can work like that if you want it to.

The archive is still a work in progress. I'm continuing to research older material, track down obscure publications, verify appearances, and correct entries as I go.

You can find the public Google Sheets archive linked directly on my profile under "Appearance List."

I'm making this publicly accessible because I'd love for other fans, readers, collectors, and researchers to have a resource they can actually use.

And if you spot something missing, an incorrect entry, or a particularly obscure appearance, please let me know! Corrections and discoveries are always welcome.

This is a passion project dedicated to preserving the publishing history of two of Marvel's most fascinating and frequently overlooked characters.

Thanks for taking a look, and I hope the archive proves useful to someone besides me!

I wanna get into their comics but I don’t know where to start. Any suggestions?

Is anyone willing to read some Tyrone and Tandy Hurt/comfort? I just feel like there's lack of fics about them being the main pairing and not some side ship 😔

I was rewatching the MCU C&D show (probably my third watch) and I just finished Season 1 yesterday, and I was left wondering:

Did they only get their powers in the "oil" rig explosion (instead of becoming Terrors or something) because they were already the "divine pairing", or did they become the divine pairing when they got their powers?

I know it's kind of a paradox / chicken-and-egg situation, and the answer is likely "both", but since they defied the destiny of one of them dying, then it couldn't have all been set in stone since the beginning, right?

Fan Art for 3D Print - Source STL
I’m sharing an old project of mine, a Dagger figure I created for 3D printing.

I have come to find if disrespectful, especially toward people who are a fan of CnD.

Spending most of the time with the characters not together, that sex scene with Tandy and that other dude, all the music sections which feel like the people making this show not actually wanting to make it to me, the episodes constantly being 40 minutes despite normal ABC/Netflix Marvel shows constantly reaching an hour or more with none of that time wasted AND with comic romances being established, etc.

This is literally the best Cloak and Dagger fan art I’ve ever seen and yes it from a NSFW artist

Now I kinda want to see the team up.

I started collecting Cloak and Dagger Comics, and started to make a catalog. But it is getting to the point where I am at the featured ones not their main comics and I was wondering if there was anywhere I could find a list of all the comics they are featured in. Here are screenshots of my list so far.

So with the new marvel set I was PRETTY disappointed with the cloak and dagger card we got (added at the end for comparison) so I decided to make duo partner custom commanders of them! I wanted to go in a group hug direction cuz…well I love group hug and I STILL feel like there isn’t enough group hug and they’re heroes! Tell me what yall think! 🖤🤍

Apparently there was a 5 part mini series that was never made back in 2008. I managed to scavenge bits and pieces from interviews and Twitter posts. Honestly I couldn't make sense of where this could have gone. I don't know if this was supposed to be an elseworlds or what. Thoughs?

Normally there should be a dropdown here (red circle) to select different seasons. According to Google, Wikipedia, IMDB, and more… there is a second season. Where is it? Where can I watch it?

Greetings I am trying to determine interest in a fan made fantasy pin for Cloak.

Here is some context: Planet Studios was a pin making company for Marvel during 1987-1996, that featured cloisonné lapel pins from 1 to 2 inches in size. We would call them now vintage pins, and they look pretty crude and much smaller to the pins currently being made.

After Planet Studios is a fan project where they are trying to complete the catalog of missing pins from the original Planet Studios project.

With that being said one of the missing pins that were never made was from Cloak of Cloak and Dagger. From a pin making perspective, I could see why none were made. His image appears very difficult to capture and translate into An enamel pin especially if you are working with cloisonné or hard enamel. So here are the questions I have for this community.

1) would you be interested in a lapel pin for Cloak?

2) if you are interested, would it be acceptable if it was made made in a vintage style in the size of 1-1.5 inches?

3) what would be your price point?

Typically After Planet Studios pins are priced at $15. They would like to bring their prices down, but have had historically poor sales. So with the current pricing, each supporter is essentially making a small donation to keep the project going.

Thank you for any input you can provide. I am going to attach some pictures to give you an idea of how the pins looked back in the day so you can have a concept of how the Cloak in would generally look. The image used for cloak would not be the artwork you used for the pin.

Thank you again for any time and input and I hope this post does not run a foul of any of the moderation wishes. If they do, I apologize.

I’m watching the show for the first time now, coming up on the last episode, and I can’t remember a single time Tandy or Ty have been called Cloak or Dagger. Some of the Marvel shows feel “scared” to give people hero names (Trish in Jessica Jones is never actually given the name Hellcat, Bobbi from AoS is only referred to as Mockingbird in the announcement, not in universe, etc), but I know O’Reilly’s “alter” has been called Mayhem a few times, so it doesn’t seem like this show is would be like that. Have they ever been called Cloak & Dagger in universe?

So obviously C&D come way before while the latter, with chars from KOF, a fighting game series (K' & Kula) come later near the beginning of millennia. I thought it'd be nice to point out and see the resemblance between the two.

Their powers contradict each other, both pairs are teenager whose powers come from the result of being kidnapped and experimented on. A big Cross-like symbol/theme present in their designs: Dagger with her costume, and K' with his necklace and on the back of his early costume. Is it too much of a coincidence? Or is this all such a common and dynamic trope that they overlap somehow? Or does Cloak & Dagger inspired the latter one way or the other!?
