got into cigarettes recently after usually saying no to them (I smoked joints instead). but i notice how many people open up and how many good conversations you have over a cigarette or two.

pretty funny how much of a social cultural norm it is. its nice. first pack was American spirit blues, now im workin through a pack of Marlboro no.27.

Finally cracked these beauties because I want the case to carry my rollies and a variety of cigs. They were dry but not bone dry. I don’t know if they’ve added more chemicals to cigs recently but these taste nothing like any Camels I’ve had, even filterless. Close to spirits but not quite. It was actually delicious and the seal was perfectly intact. I’ll rehydrate most but keeping some to smoke today as is. A way more enjoyable experience than I even anticipated. Happy weekend all!

I’m used too much rougher smokes. Like Seneca reds or American spirits. I’d describe camel golds as like a cup of tea in terms of the smoking experience, what I’m used to as espresso. Any others I should try if I like a smoother smoke?

One of the most unique cigarettes pack design I ever find. A pack of 16 cost 25K IDR or $1.3. There's an empty space on the back that says "Mari menggambar" or "let's draw" for you to draw something of course. This one is regular mild variant, there's two other flavored variant such as watermelon and guava.

First time opened the pack it tasted and smells similar to Sampoerna Mild. After a few days it's getting stale and tasted closer to Dunhill mild clove cigarettes. A balance of mildly sweet clove and savory tobacco is the best way to describe the flavor.

I am a EU smoker who's been given the middle finger by the EU banning menthols several years ago (but still allowing vapes with eyery flavor, which the teens seem to enjoy).

I'm taking a trip across the pond and would like to ask you what the best menthol brands are? I smoked Marlboro Menthols, West Ice, Camel Crush (normal & extra metnthol).

Any recommendations? I'm looking for good quality, taste and a good menthol effect :D

In my year long journey back to smoking full time, I'd been avoiding menthols in lieu of actually tasting the tobacco. I knew Marlboro reds were often considered harsh/strong so I'd been trying medium varieties like 27s and Gold Labels, especially when I wasn't trying American Spirits.

Problem is, all of those aren't nearly as popular and thus don't get stocked as often. I was horrified to find I'd routinely been buying smokes from 2022, and decided to bite the bullet on some fresh reds.

I’ve heard some people use their off hand to keep their dominant hand free for activities, in my case I both light up and use my dominant hand to hold the cig, but I’m switching to my off hand so I can put it out the window and kill the smell a bit
