Box 1 of 2 this week is all new. Quite a score with the privy.
34 privy ender, 11 torch both ends and 5 no privy ender.
I will open the torch and non privy enders to see what quality they are.
Not sure what to do with the ones that clearly have privy’s in them.

Half Dollars First half dollar find!

Alright guys been lurking this page for a while now and finally decided to go to the bank to get some rolls. Let me tell you, I can see how addicting this is.. there’s four big branch banks near my commute, spent over $250 which is not much. I’ll get $20-25 in dimes and whatever half dollars they have if any. So far I’ve asked for customer rolled dimes and any loose half dollars.

The teller’s next door neighbor had $39 in half dollars and specifically told him to include the silver one pictured. All this to say I’m excited and grateful since he knew I was looking for silver.

My first 3 boxes only had 1 1967 and 6 nifc combined. No silver in this box, but had fun finding these.

I know it's in terrible shape, but it's the first one I ever found! It was about the third coin out of the third of 3 rolls, so I'm counting it as lucky! I think I can read 192X in the date?

Update: you guys were right. It’s definitely a magicians coin! I was able to get it separated. Unfortunately the coin that’s supposed to be inside is missing. But this is definitely a first for me! Thanks for the help everyone!

Well this is a first! I was going thru a box of coins and heard one of the WEIRDEST sounding coins ever. I can only describe it as a low tinny thud?! Everything felt off about the coin. The eagle on the back is off center compared to the face. As in the head of the eagle is roughly at 11 o clock as compared to kennedy’s head, rather than the standard 6 o clock. The back also has this weird “lip” on it that almost looks like just inside the rim you could pry the back off of it and it would be hollow or something. Also a huge difference in weight from a standard clad coin.

Has anyone ever seen or heard of such a thing?
