I took out $250 in CWR, almost all of them were full rolls of the same design. I still checked the 19s and 20s, just in case somebody missed a West point and I suppose they did!

As much as I like finding silver, scarce varieties or errors, some of my favorite surprises are just well-struck versions of common dates. These two in particular stood out to me; the 1982D quarter has an amazing satin luster with sharp devices and lettering, and the 1970D nickel is almost prooflike in certain light. Not quite FS but may have been when first struck.

39 rolls opened (11 with W enders put in storage)
145 -2026 9-11 “Always Remember” W half dollars + 11 (at least) more as enders.
Hit rate across all opened rolls is approximately 18.5%
Hit rate per roll varied from 0 to 9 (0 - 45%).
I feel very lucky and am still in shock.
NONE ARE FOR SALE

I was dumping rolls of quarters and nickles at my credit union. When she asked me how I wanted my money back my first reaction was to ask for half dollars. She opened her drawer to reveal most of a box of opened machine rolls. I immediately spotted an x on several rolls. She gave me a smirk and said I bet you didn't expect that. She then mentioned the rolls had been gone through by a collector looking for a special September coin. I politely declined any halves. Maybe next time...

Nothing too crazy, but it’s insane to find an Indian head still in circulation! And from one random roll I happened to grab to replenish the pennies in my till. It wasn’t a crazy old roll either, the only other notable coin in the roll was a 39’ wheat penny, the rest was more modern stuff and maybe a few 70’s pennies.

Typical Loomis boxes with nice W and S quarters, two 1964 dimes, a sticker half and an ‘87, and two buffalo nickels (not pictured). Pretty good assortment of NIFC halves too.
The real surprises came with a few customer rolls acquired. Two silver nickels out of 4 rolls and three dime rolls out of 5 loaded with “dryer” dimes. 40 of these dimes in total. Someone must be having fun with them?!
The steel penny came from a reject tray at Publix.

I could see the silver in the rolls as soon as I sat down in my car. I did go back and ask for quarters, no luck there though. I also found 2 specimen coins? Only one is pictured, the other is dated 1968. There was also 10 proof like dimes from about 1985 to 1995, also not pictured. I was stunned with the silver. There was 93 silver dimes total, 26 1968's and 67 80% silver. Zero 1967s with the fish. I gave two dimes away to my kids.

Ran through some quarter and nickel rolls this weekend. Not bad, haven’t pulled a W in a while.

My first wild dime proof, I’m shocked I caught it.
Very curious why people sticker coins. I think it’s sort of cool so I set them aside when I find them.

I couldn't believe it! A year 0 San Francisco minted memorial cent! It's in amazing condition for being 2026 years old. Amazing!
Lol, but in all seriousness, it's a 1970 S, grease strike? There's damage on other parts of the coin but the date doesn't appear to have been ground or anything. It's a little dirty but is this a genuine stroke through grease error?
