Hey, mod here with a useful tool.
Did you see a sign that you think is not legally placed on public property? See some litter on the side of the road that might be too distracting?
Check out the PDF for PennDOT Guidance for Political Signs (Warning, PDF Link)

Local news is saying that the Humane Society is asking Brian Fitzpatrick to take down the yard signs that say “Humane Society endorses Brian Fitzpatrick.” Legal documents also show that the negative campaign against Bob Harvie and those “FBI Files” are lies and spread by the Fitzpatrick campaign.
Just curious…are the other signs lies too?
Can someone from the Fraternal Order of Police & Firefighters Association please validate their endorsement for Brian Fitzpatrick??

Hello all - looking for recommendations on companies to treat (not test) my well water, which tested high for arsenic, pfas, and coliforms. Specifically wanting someone certified for water treatment, not only a plumber.
I'm in Doylestown

Are there any thrift stores, specifically for clothing, that are consistently good? I don’t need designer clothes necessarily, but just looking to add better quality/long lasting pieces to my closet without having to buy brand new. Things like 100% cotton, wool, leather, etc.

After seeing a Tasting History with Max Miller video, I am now craving some good Baklava. I know you can get it as a dessert from Halal Guys, but are there any bakeries that sell it fresh locally? Thanks!

anyone else have issues with their car after getting gas at the Wawa in Newtown off the bypass on Tuesday of this week? I got gas there on Tuesday afternoon and then the following night one of my cylinders misfired upon starting the car and had to put it in neutral at every red light for it to not die on the way home. anybody else experience this or something similar?

Fitz keeps rolling out the endorsements!
•
This is Paul Martino, a wealthy venture capitalist from Doylestown & self described “hardcore Republican.” He single handedly funded a slate of far right candidates for Central Bucks School Board in 2023, including his wife Aarati.
“In Bucks County, five Democratic candidates won all open Central Bucks school district seats, four of which were held by conservative incumbents. Since conservatives took over the nine-member board in 2021, it had banned pride flags and books about LGBTQ+ people and history and prohibited “sexualized content” in schools, according to the Philadelphia Inquirer.”
Paul Martino has donated thousands of dollars to Brian Fitzpatrick’s campaigns dating back to 2016. It’s time to send Fitz and his book-banning donors into the wilderness where they belong. Bob Harvie for Congress!
The struggle for the Central Bucks school board is documented in a thoughtfully produced 5-part PBS series currently airing on all our local affiliates. The teens portrayed will restore your faith in humanity. It’s well worth a watch.

I’m just wondering before I call, is everybody still having issues with the bills they are getting? I just got a bill for a little under $400 but have been on auto pay since the first weird bill I got when I saw they kicked me off auto pay. Been getting billed around $50-60 dollars each month. This past bill shows I used 6 months of water for the three months I wasn’t properly billed. I do not think I have a leak. Just wondering what everyone else is experiencing before I call and if the customer service line is still horrible.

The order comes after Energy Transfer identified a 600-gallon crude oil pipeline leak in Michigan similar to the one discovered in Bucks County last year.

What are they called? I want to address them properly in my sign telling them not to solicit or trespass at my building. My neighbors and I are tired of seeing election trash fly around our courtyard. Are they just called political volunteers? Election volunteers? I don't want to put "political jerkoffs" on a sign but I will...

I'm new in Penndel and have struggled to find work the last few weeks. I have a ton of experience in the restaurant industry, but not getting too many bites on Indeed or Craigslist. I will start a (hopefully good) job tomorrow, but money has dwindled to about $2. All of my money has been going to the weekly rent for the boarding house where I'm staying. I hate to ask, but can anyone help and buy me a pizza tonight? Just a simple large plain, so I can have leftovers for the morning, too. I will gladly Venmo the money back as soon as I can.
If this post isn't allowed, I apologize.
Edit: Thank you to the kind people of this area! Good karma does come around, and it's important to pay it forward!

Anyone care to stop by? Snap some pics? Help push this guy out of office? Comment or message me.
Here’s a signage teaser. You don’t need to bring anything.
Bob Harvie sticks his fingers in the cookie batter, but I’m still voting for him!

The Congressional Leadership Fund redirected $3.6 million into PA-01 this week after abandoning at least one other Republican incumbent, the Inquirer reports, citing AdImpact tracking. Elon Musk's America PAC has spent nothing for Fitzpatrick so far, while putting more than $460,000 into each of three other Pennsylvania districts. Planned spending in the race is now nearly even: $9.4 million for Fitzpatrick and more than $9.5 million for Bob Harvie.

Do any schools in bucks county have a full time ex-military infantryman armed guardian? I'm not referring to a cop who occasionally checks in a few days a week for an hour meet and greet.
Would it be nice to know should an armed intruder enter our schools they would be met with swift, overwhelming and deadly force by ex military combat veterans carrying semi-automatic rifles?

Hello! Out of curiosity, I just wanted to know if anyone knows movie theaters in/around the Bucks County area that offer discounted or consistently cheap movie tickets. All I really know of at the moment are Penn Cinema (Wednesdays) and AMC's (Tuesdays/Wednesdays) respective discount days.
