Meta/Feedback Report litter on roadways to PennDOT

Hey, mod here with a useful tool.

Did you see a sign that you think is not legally placed on public property? See some litter on the side of the road that might be too distracting?

  1. Check out the PDF for PennDOT Guidance for Political Signs (Warning, PDF Link)

  2. Report any questionably legal signs on roadways here

Advice: Lower Bucks BCWSA

I’m just wondering before I call, is everybody still having issues with the bills they are getting? I just got a bill for a little under $400 but have been on auto pay since the first weird bill I got when I saw they kicked me off auto pay. Been getting billed around $50-60 dollars each month. This past bill shows I used 6 months of water for the three months I wasn’t properly billed. I do not think I have a leak. Just wondering what everyone else is experiencing before I call and if the customer service line is still horrible.

Advice: Lower Bucks Could anyone help tonight?

I'm new in Penndel and have struggled to find work the last few weeks. I have a ton of experience in the restaurant industry, but not getting too many bites on Indeed or Craigslist. I will start a (hopefully good) job tomorrow, but money has dwindled to about $2. All of my money has been going to the weekly rent for the boarding house where I'm staying. I hate to ask, but can anyone help and buy me a pizza tonight? Just a simple large plain, so I can have leftovers for the morning, too. I will gladly Venmo the money back as soon as I can.

If this post isn't allowed, I apologize.

Edit: Thank you to the kind people of this area! Good karma does come around, and it's important to pay it forward!

Politics Election flyer door knockers name

What are they called? I want to address them properly in my sign telling them not to solicit or trespass at my building. My neighbors and I are tired of seeing election trash fly around our courtyard. Are they just called political volunteers? Election volunteers? I don't want to put "political jerkoffs" on a sign but I will...

Anyone care to stop by? Snap some pics? Help push this guy out of office? Comment or message me.

Here’s a signage teaser. You don’t need to bring anything.

Bob Harvie sticks his fingers in the cookie batter, but I’m still voting for him!

Politics National Republicans send $3.6 million more to defend Fitzpatrick as Musk's PAC spends elsewhere in Pa.

The Congressional Leadership Fund redirected $3.6 million into PA-01 this week after abandoning at least one other Republican incumbent, the Inquirer reports, citing AdImpact tracking. Elon Musk's America PAC has spent nothing for Fitzpatrick so far, while putting more than $460,000 into each of three other Pennsylvania districts. Planned spending in the race is now nearly even: $9.4 million for Fitzpatrick and more than $9.5 million for Bob Harvie.

Do any schools in bucks county have a full time ex-military infantryman armed guardian? I'm not referring to a cop who occasionally checks in a few days a week for an hour meet and greet.

Would it be nice to know should an armed intruder enter our schools they would be met with swift, overwhelming and deadly force by ex military combat veterans carrying semi-automatic rifles?

Hello! Out of curiosity, I just wanted to know if anyone knows movie theaters in/around the Bucks County area that offer discounted or consistently cheap movie tickets. All I really know of at the moment are Penn Cinema (Wednesdays) and AMC's (Tuesdays/Wednesdays) respective discount days.

Politics Embarrassing question about voting…

I moved to this county a few years ago, but did not change my voter registration because I was fleeing a domestic violence problem. Voting registrations allow your address to be able to be potentially shared with people it shouldn’t, so I left well enough alone to stay hidden.

I really want to vote. I am registered in the state of PA, but not this particular county where I have resided for a few years now.

How do I find out where I vote? Do I need to re-register to vote?

Advice: Lower Bucks Where to find ethanol-free gas (aka marine gas)

Does anybody know if there is a place in lower Bucks that sells ethanol-free gas? I have asked a few gas stations and they don't have it. I think I saw at Home Depot before but costs like $23 for a gallon.

I am tired of carefully preparing each vehicle for long term storage, cars, motorcycles, generators, lawn tractors. Between buying the fuel stabilizer, making the mix, and filling each tank to the brim to avoid air, it's a pain in the butt. The generator sits for over a year without working, so even the stabilizer may not help there. So, anyone knows where to find marine gas?

Politics Is this legal?

Post image

Wait, so now they can just dip into our tax dollars to use for thier own personal political ads? The front of the envelope says it's from Congress of the United States House of Representatives and offficial business. In the 15 years I've lived here I have never received a a letter from Brian Fitzpatrick. The worst part is I still haven't! The registered owner of the property did not receive this letter an elderly resident at the property did. So this "official business government correspondence" is not even being sent to every resident but selectively sent to his targeted mailing list.

Politics Debate tonight at BCCC - 6th State Senate District (Hartnett Albillar v Farry)

Thumbnail my.lwv.org
25 Upvotes

Eileen Hartnett Alibillar, Bucks County’s Clerk of Courts, former Warrington Supervisor & clinical social worker, takes on ‘data center’ Frank Farry, incumbent, longtime “moderate” Republican skating by on his reputation. Sounds like Brian Fitzpatrick.

Pennsylvania’s state senate has been gerrymandered for years. Since 1978, Democrats have had control for just 3 years. Current partisan breakdown is R27-D23. The 2026 election is the best hope for Dems to take power in years. The State Senate is where popular legislation goes to die. The ability for election workers to pre canvass mail ballots, for example. Time to send Frank Farry packing.

The forum is open to the public and is sponsored by the League of Women Voters.

The 6th District includes most of southwest Bucks, from Bensalem, Penndel and Langhorne through the Southamptons, Northampton, Warminster, Warrington, Warwick & Wrightstown.

Politics Eight Day Turnaround for Mail in Voting

I've seen a lot of discussion on this subreddit about whether to return Mail-In Ballots in the mail or to take them in person to one of the drop off locations. I just wanted to provide my personal anecdote that there was an 8 day turnaround from when the County mailed out my ballot until when they recorded receiving it. County Mailed it out on the 5th, I got my ballot on the 6th, placed it in the mail on the 7th, and they recorded it as received today. Just figured that would may be a helpful bit of information who have yet to get their Mail-in Ballot.

Politics Harvie's campaign pollster has the PA-01 race tied at 46-46, three weeks before Election Day

Global Strategy Group polled 1,032 likely voters for the Harvie campaign Oct. 1-8 and found the race tied at 46-46, 8 percent undecided, margin of error 3.1 points. It is an internal Democratic poll: Fitzpatrick's campaign and the NRCC have a September internal putting him up 9, and Cook still rates PA-01 Lean Republican after moving it a rung on Oct. 9. Full write-up from A Better Bucks.
