/r/Brewers sub rules: the elephant in the room
Im going to try to keep this short and sweet.
We typically try to keep this sub a bit under control, and keep some level of order.
You may have noticed lately that has been more relaxed.
To be blunt, we (the fans) are in uncharted waters. Were (the mods) all as excited as you are, and to put it simply: were not going to police threads that would normally be counted as spam/multiposts/etc. Everyones excited, and its time to show it.
To be clear, this does not mean there isnt moderation. Dont use slurs, be respectful to others, dont be assholes. TL;DR? Remember youre representing the midwest, and especially Wisconsin.
By all means, though: Have some fun. A lot of us have waited for this for a long time, and at this point, were not going to hold you back. Its time to be the rabid fanbase we are.

Congratulations From A Blue Jays Fan, Thank You, You All Deserve It!
My connection to the Toronto Blue Jays runs deep and personal. The 2025 postseason changed me for the best. In particular it helped me when it came to the passing of my mom, and go from being an extreme introvert to being more social.
I would do anything to relive the 2025 World Series, even with the knowledge that the Blue Jays would lose in extra innings of Game 7.
For the last few weeks, I’ve been experiencing a major depressive episode, and part of that is because I felt a loss and was jealous that other fanbases would get to make lifetime memories in the same way I did this time last year.
Going into the 2026 Postseason my only hope is that the Yankees and the Dodgers didn’t win the World Series (and hopefully not play in it either).
What I didn’t expect is that I’d fall in love with the Brewers this month. And it’s not just because you swept the Dodgers (thanks by the way), it is your fanbase’s kindness.
It’s hard for me to describe, but your collective excitement about advancing from the World Series is very innocent, childlike, and humble. I’ve lost count of how many of you have thanked me for cheering on the Brewers. I’ve jumped on other teams’ bandwagons and you’re the first fanbase to thank me.
I don’t have a personal connection to Milwaukee, but I’ve suddenly fallen in love with your city and I hope to visit someday.
Thank you for generating my interest in the 2026 MLB Postseason and for welcoming me into your community. I am so excited for many of you to experience your first-ever World Series. I hope you all absorb every moment and I’m confident you’ll make lifetime memories. You all deserve this.
GO BREWERS!

Audio of Brian Anderson on tonight's ALCS Pre-game show.
For this who missed it. BA talked for about 10 minutes about the Brewers culture. I just recorded the audio from my tv.

Aaron Ashby appreciation post
This dude battled and got our team out of so many bad positions. Runner in scoring position and Ashby steps up big for 3 straight innings and gets us out of it. He was an absolute terminator all series! Still in shock that I’m seeing a brewers World Series! Go win it all boys!

So much to be emotional about from last night, but man- the media calling Yeli “Captain” really got me
When Yeli stepped up to talk to the broadcast guys and they greeted him as “Captain,” oh man. That really hit me.
If there’s one thing Pat Murphy knows how to do, it’s meet the moment. And I have a feeling that the appointment of Christian Yelich as the first Brewers captain will go down in history.

Brewer the Dog
My partner and I got a puppy from the shelter in May. First game when we brought him home? Brewers finish sweeping the Cubs.
I thought "Okay, you may give us a little luck this year pup. Brewer the puppy it is."
The season kept improving and he became a bigger and bigger Brewers fan (RBIs get treats). Now, after winning the pennant for the first time in my life, I can hope beyond hope this little dude can bring us some luck in the big game.
Our little mutt just recently turned one, and he would love nothing more than to get jumping up and down with excitement as the Brewers win their very first World Series after he found his way to us.
Four games to win! Go Crew!

So grateful we didn't sell the farm for half a season of Skubal
It makes the sweep that much sweeter. World series bound, we keep our prospects, and we handled the Dodgers with ease even though they ended up with Skubal.
God I love this team.

My reaction
I live in Oregon. I've never set foot in Milwaukee, yet I've been a Brewers fan for a long time. Total diehard.
I wasn't going to share this. It's so raw, personal, and frankly a little embarrassing. But it's all of us!
Maybe someone can relate.

Whoever it's going to be Rays/Cleveland no more West Coast games!
Whoever we face in The WS it's guaranteed to start at a real hour and no late night bullshit.

Just let me rant please.
I've scraped and clawed and saved to save up enough money to buy one world series ticket. Saved up $1,300 and all I wanted was a SRO ticket.
Finally got out of the queue and into seat selection after 20 minutes and was priced out. SRO tickets were instantly on sale on third party sites for $1,800 and now they're up to $2,100.
What are we supposed to do? I've gone to countless brewer games, bought the t-shirts, the hats, the car decals and now I'm being priced out of seeing my all time favorite team on the biggest stage.
Ticket scalpers can get bent.
I'm sure I'm not the only one who's dealing with this same exact thing. Such a bummer.
Go Crew 💙💛

I really want to thank Craig Counsell
No slander here. I know how the fan base feels about his "betrayal", and I've echoed some of those same sentiments.
But if Craig had stayed, the Brewers would not be in the World Series. I firmly believe that. He would not have been the right manager for THIS team.
He was, however the right Manager for the team in 2017, 2018, 2019...but as the team continued to get younger, the organization philosophy was moving away from what made him one of the best Managers in baseball. I did feel betrayed when he left, but in hindsight, it was the best thing for both sides.
If Craig didn't leave, we wouldn't know Murph in the way that we do. And Murph is exactly the right manager for this group of guys. Craig doesn't understand the psychology of working with young players in the way Murph (and his college coaching experience) do. Craig started at the top....never worked his way up with young players in the minors. Murph knows how to get through to a struggling young player. Craig does not. He's great with analytics, but not as much with the feel of the game.
So Thank You Craig Counsell. Thank you for the very good years you gave us, and thank you for stepping aside when we needed a new voice, when you were no longer the right man for the job. Respect.

Brian Anderson ALCS rain delay appreciation post
Did anybody catch the BA interview about the Brewers going to the WS? Best PbP professional in the game but the best damn BREWERS fan in the world. I could see him get emotional talking about our guys, our culture, and our fans. GO BREWERS!

Did the Brewers just complete the most legendary 4 game sweep of all time?
Yes, the Dodgers hitters are old and played like shit but lineup is still full of hall of famers, Ohtani seemingly hurt, but beating Skubal, Yamamoto, Snell, Glasnow in 4 straight games is INSANE. Has to be the best 4 man group of starting pitchers to ever get swept in 4 games. The Dodgers had won 8 straight playoff series heading into this including 2 straight World Series titles
