$100 pre-charge for fast charging is ridiculous.
The MyChevy auto charge when plugging into charge point does a fucking $100 pre-auth. That is insane, and you don’t get that back for 24 hours… absolutely insane for a $10-$15 charging session.

Photos for pulling central console and trunk panels apart
2027 LT. I took some photos as I pulled the panels and central console apart to access the 12v on the "cigarette lighter" plug to power some accessories. As this was the first time I was dealing with this maker and car, not knowing the location of the clips and fasteners was a big challenge. So I am posting these here in case someone needs to know this in the future.

Looking to possibly upgrade from 2017 Bolt
I’ve been driving an OG 2017 Premier that I bought new for nine years. My first EV and hopefully I’ll never have to go back to gas. It’s literally the only car I’ve owned I’ve actually cared about.
My only complaint, as most people here will know/guess, is the fast charging is garbage. Theoretical top speed of 55kw. The few times I’ve used it, it starts around 52kw and then just nose dives from there.
I’m doing like 99% local driving and almost never use fast charging. However, I did a trip recently that was over 300 miles. It was doable, but the dogsh\*t slow fast charging really hit me in the face this time.
Interested to hear what any former 2017 to 2023 Bolt owners switched to, if they changed cars. I guess my only criteria for this discussion, in addition to modern fast charging, would be CarPlay and true one pedal driving. I’ve been reading not all EVs do one pedal driving like the Bolt (the ID4 and Leaf jump to mind). I’d have gone with the current 2027 Bolt in an instant if it had CarPlay, for what it’s worth. Thanks.

Negotiating a purchase
I am in the process of negotiating a purchase of a new 2027 Bolt RS with the Technology Package. The dealer is giving me an out-the-door price of $33,000 which includes a trade-in of my 2014 Prius, dealer discount, California’s MyFirstEV incentive discount of $3500, taxes, all fees.
Is this a good deal?

Replaces sway bar links and now getting a hitting sound over bumps did I install them incorrectly?
Any help is appreciated. I think they were broken for the last two years I just switched rims on my bolt and noticed so I replaced them, before i wasn’t getting a hitting sound. It sounds like it’s more on the driver side it looks like they could be hitting the control arm over bumps

Someone hit my Bolt and drove off, what is the best way to repair my rear bumper?
Someone hit my 2023 EUV in a parking lot and drove off, I have no way to contact them and will just try to fix it myself, the rear quarter is dented in and gauged on the one side, it's a simple fix at home. My rear bumper cover is also very scratched, super scuffed, and will need repair. What is the best way to fix it that doesn't involve replacing it with a $1000 new part? It's that rough textured gray plastic, I don't know how to repair that kind of plastic and make it look good, what is the recommended action here? Should I just sand it all down and paint it body color? It's absolutely insane how much these parts are, if I wanted to a whole front end on my Yukon it wouldn't even be $1000, yet on the Bolt a bumper is $1000, ridiculous. Ideally I'm trying to do this without getting a body shop involved and insurance raising my rates, but like that's a lot of money

2027 Bolt 6 month storage advice.
I will be out of the country for 6 months and plan to leave my 2027 Bolt in my garage for the duration. Do I keep it on the charger and if so what % should I charge to ? Also do I need to add a trickle charger to the 12 volt battery?

Optimal front tire pressure?
Any recommendations for front tire pressure to sharpen handling and reduce shoulder wear? I found it helpful in my Mazda 3 but not so in my MINI SE, so am wondering where the Bolt might fall and hoping to get a jump-start on the answer.

Bolt EV Battery Label (Pre-2027, How do I know if I have which battery?)
For one, look into the N2.2 sticker on the battery facing the rear of the car. Two, find the identification # for the battery itself.

Chevy Dealer Recommendations in Colorado / Front Range
Hi all,
I have my used ‘23 with low miles and still some time left on the warranty. I’m wondering if anyone can recommend a specific dealership I should consider if and when I have any issues?
I’m in the mountains but anywhere in Denver or near downtown is fine, all the car dealers are generally terrible up here so I’m used to making the trip for my previous vehicles

Restart charging after stopping
I am charging my 2023 Bolt from solar so there are times when I want to manually stop and start charging from the app (iOS). I do not have OnStar. I am able to stop charging but then the start charging button in the app never appears. I have been restarting by unplugging/plugging-in the charging cable which isn’t possible if I am not near the car.
Also I can’t adjust the charge target %/kWh in the app.
Is this normal behavior from the app. Or is it blocked by not having OnStar? I couldn’t find any information about this in the owner’s manual or online. TIA

Low amp draw hours prior to schedule. What's it doing?

2027 bolt LT
Like the title says, I plug in Sunday afternoon and the car draws 1.5 amps for 3.5 hours, then stops all night, then starts a full charge according to schedule.
The light on the dash is Blue (connected and stopped pending schedule)
The ambient temp is 17ºC during the 1.5 amp draw.
What is it doing while its drawing 1.5 amps? Any guesses?

Tips for first Trunk or Treat?
A pretty light question, I don’t know what I don’t know:
I’ll be doing my first trunk-or-treat trunk ever, in my Bolt EUV. I’ve heard things about how the regular car battery can still die even in a fully charged electric vehicle. Do I need to be concerned about dome lights draining my battery? Can I keep the car on and play music through the speakers?
Any other advice or warnings?
Thanks!

'23 bolt storage organizer's
Looking for something that fits in that hole where the transmission tunnel isn't. Below the shifter. Lots of room there does anyone of something that fits well and will hold stuff.
