A regular day at SCHALE. Sensei pours yet probably the ten's cup of coffee, half-wondering if he should ask Izuna to bring him some energy drinks from Angel 24. Piles of paperwork never seems to get smaller when you are a single adult responsible for an entire city full of students. But perhaps it is just because documentations done and not blend next to each other - you never know on a third all-nighter.

"Yaaaaaaaawn, what a day..." Sensei decides to take a short break, leaning back into the chair and looking at the ceiling. He hopes Serina is not there - she will scold him again for not caring after himself. That made him chuckle quietly.

As he pulled out one of the beef sandwiches from the fridge with some sweets for dessert, Sensei's gaze falls upon several of his miniatures. He really liked his collection, no matter how much Yuuka told him to drop the unnecessary spendings. This is a hobby, woman! All work and no play makes Sensei a dull boy!

Among them, he suddenly focused on a robot that had a bright red scarf around its neck. That reminded him of something... no, someone...

It was an evening of the February. Cold bit like hell and snow fell from the skies densely. Even well-dressed Sensei shivered from it. He was on his way back to SCHALE after visiting the Arius Satellite School. He wanted to make sure youngsters there, led by Subaru, were doing fine and had everything they needed. Arius Squad was also there and they helped their juniors.

But passing by some garbage bags he found someone in trouble. She looked like one of those Sukeban, but more malnourished and weak. Her clothing was dirty and torn in places, not nearly enough to protect from the vicious cold. However, what distressed Sensei the most was her halo - it flickered. Not dimmed or went off - flickered. As if blueish skin and trembling wasn't enough. She was dying from exposure.

Sensei hurried up to her that instant, removing his heavy coat and covering her in it. He then picked her up and ran to the nearest hospital, where she could get all the help she needed. He paid for everything, all while remaining by her side and reassuring that all will be alright.

After doctors made sure her life was out of danger, Sensei led poor student to have some proper meal and bought her some fitting winter clothing. She kept looking at him, although he does not remember her face - it was covered by long, dirty hair streaming down. What he did remember was a smile. Grateful, trembling, joyful smile.

He offered for her to take shower in SCHALE and rest there as long as she needed, which she did. Afterwards, the student left, thanking him profusely for help and promising to return the favor in the future. Even if Sensei did not ask for it. She also gave him a name... Nezumi.

"Hope she is alright." He murmurs, slurping on his coffee and biting into slightly stale bread. One of the things he gave her was his red scarf, which she held onto like it was sacred. That confused the man, since it was just a regular scarf, but hey - as long as his student is happy. "Anyway, back to work."

The next morning Sensei wakes up and gets ready for work. Checks MomoTalks in case any students are in need of his help and it seems like Hasumi got fatter and now barricaded herself in a gym, which is why Ichika is asking for help to get her out of there. And on top of that Fuuka finally snapped at Haruna for kidnapping her and pulverized her face... only for the latter to find it "therapeutic", as it improved Fuuka's cooking. Typical day at Kivotos.

"BREAKING NEWS!"

Huh, seems like something got Kronos School up and about. Sensei rises the volume of the report, curious what is it all about.

"Sudden and unexpected attack on Kaiser Corporation's facilities! We are reporting from the place of the incident! It seems like a force of Sukeban managed to break into one of the well-defended compounds at night and ransacked the place for valuables!" Shinon was her usual cheerful and inquisitive self, bounding up and down, eager for another juicy scoop. "Excuse me, Kronos news Club reporter here, do you have any comments on the situation?!"

"This is a criminal activity that must be stopped. General Student Council is supposed to take decisive actions to prevent these Sukeban from hurting people living in Kivotos. We identify them as Red Ribbons gang." The robotic security officer with Kaiser's logo on his shoulder was serious and to the point, but it was clear he did not appreciate reporters snooping around. "The official announcement will arrive later. Now I must demand you leave the private property."

"Hey, wait! We haven't finished asking questions! Ouch, don't push me! This is an attack on free press!!!"

Sensei smirks. While we did not support his students risking their lives, it was surprisingly refreshing to see these stuck up Kaiser goons getting a taste of some freedom against their authoritarian advances. So at first Sensei did not pay much attention to it - it was normal.

At least at the start.

"Sensei, I am glad you could come join us." Nagisa, Mika and Seia were waiting for Sensei at the Tea Party reception room. Hot, high-class tea was already being poured into the cups and stacks of different desserts magnificently stood in their place, ready to be eaten. "Please, take your seat."

"Yahoo, Sensei!" Mika immediately stood up and hugged him with her typical cheerful demeanor and equally strong gorilla-hug that almost squeezed a soul out of him. "I am so happy to see you! How about we go on a date after this?!"

"Mika, you are being annoying. Sensei already has a meeting with me tomorrow." Seia slots in, smiling vixen face covered by a long sleeve of her dress. Her little bird tweets in agreement. "Get in line."

"Boo, Seia-chan, you two are meanies!"

"Ladies, please." To stop a regular argument between the three, Sensei immediately smiled and raised his hand, saying: "Is it about the Red Ribbons?"

All three immediately went still, looking at him with relatively similar expressions. Nagisa was shocked, Mika bewildered and Seia - surprised. The first one almost overpoured her tea, stuck in that position for a good moment.

"H-How do you know that, Sensei?..."

"You are not the first school leaders who ask me to assist them." Sensei takes a seat and has a good sip of tea with a muffin. He was hungry anyway, so might as well enjoy their hospitality. "Prefect Team, Seminar, Genryumon, and others notified me of this problem in the last few days."

"Oh, so we are not the only ones affected." Mika scratches her head with an awkward smile.

"Are you surprised? Kaiser Corporation is all over Kivotos." Seia adds, rocking on her chair a bit. "I would be more surprised if we were the only ones affected."

"Then you already know what is happening?" Nagisa clears her throat and takes leadership once again. "Red Ribbons, as they were named not long after their first heist, are causing problems with supplies to Kaiser-owned shops and services. Prices are going up and some of our students suffer because of it. Situation is not yet severe, but we would like to not risk it getting out of hand."

"Hm, have you tried using Justice Task Force to apprehend them?"

"We did, but there is a problem." Leader of the Filius faction of Tea Party sighs heavily, looking in the window. "Firstly, Red Ribbons are very deliberate in their choice of targets. They seemingly know where JTF groups are at all time and stage attacks where they can't react in time..."

"... Secondly, they always act on the Kaiser turf explicitly." Representative of Sanctus says, wiggling her bright fox tail. "We do not have authority there and corporate goons do not wish for Trinity to get involved."

"Thirdly, they are highly mobile! Hard to catch and all. Wonder if these guys are some sort of Hobin Roods (from Sheerwood forest no less)." Mika chuckles, passing the rollcake back to Nagisa. "Wonder what their goal is. Is it the same for other schools, Sensei?"

Sensei nodded, looking thoughtfully into the swirling depth of tea in his cup. It was EXACTLY like other academy leaders reported it. This was less like a typical Sukeban gang and more like Arius and RABBIT Squads tactics. Although a lot more precise and less "vani" included.

"In any case, Sensei, we likely have the same request as other schools. Could you deal with these Red Ribbons?" Nagisa decides eventually to be direct. Her voice was calm, but notes of worry still did not escape it.

"Already on it, Nagisa. All I need right now is to catch them in the act and demand an answer. Hopefully without using force." As always, student's well-being was a priority for him. "I have professionals working on it."

"Sensei, Rabbit 1, reporting for duty." Miyako was very quick to respond to Sensei's call and was already standing with her entire squad in SCHALE's main building less than an hour after Sensei sent his request to her. "The Squad is ready for action."

"Miyako, could you at least let us wash ourselves first?" Saki's temple vein was twitching, as she was clearly annoyed about her leader springing to Sensei's call like a literal rabbit. Tomboyish pointwoman looks longingly on Sensei's shower door. "We were training all day and I am still sweaty."

"Eh, she just wanted to see Sensei - what else do you expect from her?" Crooked smile on Moe's face was wide and she did not hide the double meaning behind her words.

"I do not know what you are talking about, Moe." Miyako remarks, keeping her face unchanging. The fact she kept looking Sensei in the eyes without even turning her head to teammate's comment certainly did not help her case. "I am just here to fulfill my duty."

"H-hello, Sensei..." Miyu, in her usual shy and melancholic self, popped out of camo, which earned her a hearty headpat from Sensei. "Hehehe... Sensei's hand... is warm..."

Miyako's expression momentarily darkened, before she stepped closer to Sensei, removed her helmet, and bows her head forward pointedly.

"Sensei, I request headpats as well. Please make them longer due to my leadership position."

"MIYAKO, keep it in your... skirt!"

"Sensei, may I have some pats too?" Moe, like a nuclear mushroom rising from the bombed ground, emerged in front of their teacher, flustered and grinning even more, neck also craned.

"MOE!"

"Miyu... would like some more pats too!... Hueeeeeeng..."

"Tsk!" Eventually even Saki, reluctantly, asked to get her head patted.

After all of that was over, Sensei gives a more detailed briefing on the situation with Red Ribbons. Since FOX Squad was busy with Lore cases, Arius Squad worked with their former school, and other combat clubs were generally busy, he decided to ask the most available and capable one.

"We are ready, Sensei." Miyako claims before Sensei even manages to ask "Could you do that for me, please?", which causes their teacher to smile awkwardly.

"Miyako, I didn't finish - I will also repay for your help with..."

"We will do it anyway, Sensei." Rabbit 1's eyes were twinkling in a very pet-like manner of adoration and would make Ako jealous. "We owe you so much already. I owe you so much... 28.. rabbits~... Hehehe~..."

Saki looked at her leader skeptically, but instead of very pointed comment about their constant supply problem, she just shakes her head. She knows Sensei will supply them no matter what, but she would appreciate Miyako not being this down bad for him.

The operation "Lightning Whip" was a simple one. Using some advanced surveillance equipment to monitor most of Kaiser Corporation's properties outskirts, RABBIT Squad stayed on high alert with Sensei, waiting for a new attack. And, a day later, one happened in the D.U. District, prompting all five to board Moe's helicopter and head towards it.

"Reception from the spy drone is spotty." Says Miyako who was holding a monitor in her hands. There was a lot of static on the screen. "They must be using jammers - quite advanced for a gang of Sukeban."

"At this rate they might have proper manpads and drones as well." Saki connects to Moe and advises her immediately. "Rabbit 3, fly lower and prepare some flares."

"Hey, don't take me for an amateur - I know my booms." Moe was her usual self, but she lowered her altitude still, navigating among the skyscrapers and smaller buildings.

"Miyu, are you ready to drop?"

"Y-yes... deploying..." Rabbit 4 is quickly dropped on the tallest building near the operational center, where she immediately takes position in a sniper's nest. "Rabbit 4, in position..."

Not eager to test their luck, the rest of the Rabbit Squad land outside of the bounds of the raid, with Miyako, Saki, and Sensei sliding down the rappels and hurrying in the direction of the explosions and gunfire.

"This is Rabbit 4... the Red Ribbons suppressed Kaiser security... they are looting the depots right now..."

"Roger that. We are almost there!"

When they finally arrive to the scene, it is definitely a sight. Both PMC mercenaries and robotic soldiers of Kaiser Corp. were all on the floor in pain or pieces (only latter), while a medium team of Sukeban was moving with precision and skill unexpected from the regular outlaws, pulling items from the busted open storage.

"What the... are those things even work???" Whispers Saki, who notices what Sensei also did. Their weapons and armor looked incredibly patchwork-ish. Like someone took all the pieces from the garbage pile, put them together, and they somehow worked.

But there was also a very distinct detail about all of them. The red ribbons. Each member of the group had one and they looked incredibly pristine unlike the rest of their gear. As if their weapons and clothing was second-hand and that little accessory was just fresh out of the tailor shop. The distinction was so strong, it was impossible to miss. Some wore them on their hands, others - on their necks or heads.

"They do. Look at those bullet holes. They are not top of the line, but still effective." Moving from one position to another, Saki and Miyako positioned themselves in a right place, ready for a fight. There were many Red Ribbons, but on the other hand Rabbits had Sensei and they still remembered how he managed to steamroll them with just regular Valkyries forces. "Ready on your command, Sensei."

"Stand your ground. I wish to address them." Sensei stoop up, ready to dart back into the cover, as he lifts his hand and waves to the Red Ribbons. "Hey, are you the Red Ribbons?! Could you please stand down and talk with us?"

Dozens of guns turned to him, but instead of shooting... they froze. As the whispers spread among the Red Ribbons, they even stopped looting and looked at increasingly confused Sensei in awe and... respect?

"Its... its Sensei..."

"Just like she described..."

"It is really him..."

"He is taller than I thought..."

Then they noticed Miyako and Saki flanking Sensei with their guns raised, clearly prepared to fire if they as much as sneeze in his direction. What followed was not expected at all.

"ABORT THE MISSION! WITHDRAW!!!" As one, Red Ribbons began tactically retreating back to an... equally patchwork APC that was hidden in the nearby street. Small cans, that Sensei only later realized where makeshift smoke grenades, fell in front of them, but not a single shot was fired as each quickly scrambled into the vehicle, before flooring the pedal and starting to escape.

"Rabbit 3, go after them!" Miyako commands, but as soon as Moe appears in the sky, a manpad-carrying Red Ribbon pokes from the hatch on top of the APC and fires at the helicopter, forcing her to dodge and deploy countermeasures. Then two kamikaze drones floated from the sides of the vehicles and went after Moe, forcing her to evade and shoot them down.

"Damn it! I will unload my full salvo into you!!!" Moe was not happy about it, but by the time she stabilized her ride, Red Ribbons were gone.

"Rabbit 4, are you tracking them?" Miyako asked, as she looked in the direction those Sukeban escaped.

"Not anymore... they use buildings for cover... Sorry..."

Sensei still stood there, surprised. Why did they run away? That wasn't how Sukeban usually acted. At least not until they received a good beating. What is going on?...

And who is that "she"?
