I just want to preface by saying I totally support humanly raised and sustainably farmed meats. This was my second try of this brand. The first time was awful. This slightly better. Maybe a better batch. When I cooked it, mostly water instead of fat was rendered, strangely. The flavor was just really lacking. Not good at all.

I am not a pot smoker, however, I have been around it as most Americans have in our comings and goings.

My whole life, I have had this experience when marijuana is being smoked nearby it smells like bacon being cooked to me. Not exactly the same, but very similar.

Whenever I mention this to people, they act like they have no idea what I'm talking about. They tell me that it smells nothing alike.

Am I the only person whose brain is wired like this?

My mother bought turkey bacon instead of real, juicy, savory, delicious piggy bacon. What should I do?

Anyone eat bacon frequently as a kid and still alive and well now? My 6 year old son loves bacon and insists on eating it every morning. He eats two pieces a day, Mon through Fri. I buy the sugar, preservative, nitrites/nitrates free ones with high protein.

It’s something he really looks forward to every weekday morning, so I’d hate to take it away from him. But I also worry about the long-term health consequences of eating bacon so frequently. Is my worry warranted?

I’ve tried switching it up with other meat alternatives like chicken, meatballs, and sausage, but I haven’t found anything else he’s willing to eat instead.

Got some bacon from HelloFresh, is it supposed to be so much fat in it?

Bought a 2 lb package of bacon to make a pot of corn chowder. Used most for the chowder. Baked the rest because bacon is awesome.

My 1st time making my own smoked bacon. And just cooked it up this morning. Let me say no more store bought bacon for us! lol

When it's groceries time this month im gonna pick up some and I can't wait!!!

Once you finish these 5 slices, there is no more bacon anywhere on earth and the bacon part of the pig is replaced with tofu. So no going back.

Good news is you don't need to share them with anyone and can prepare it however you like.

How are you preparing your last meal?

For mine I'd probably just forget them in the air fryer and burn them to a crisp.

How’s my bacon?

I’m on my 4th batch of homemade bacon. I cure it with pink salt, brown sugar, etc and then smoke it.

I’m using really high quality pork belly from SRF.

My bacon is turning out a little tough. It doesn’t seem to matter how much or little it’s cooked. Flavor is good. Sometimes it just seems a bit jerky-ish.
