UNOFFICIAL - NOT AFFILIATED WITH DEVELOPERS (apologies meant to write unofficial in title)

Hi, excited to release this one, took a very long time, failed attempts and I did give up a few times.... but was quite highly requested.

Astro Bot Rescue Mission, the PS4 PS VR game, now plays on PS VR2. The game isn't modified. A payload hooks it, answers its PS VR calls and sends the frames to the headset through the PS5's own VR libraries. This took a lot of painful trial and error and an unfortunately long time having my VR2 headset on trying to check if it works. My PS5VR media app I made was a big help as I already found use of the PSVR2 calls.

Features so far: head tracking, rotation and position, so headbutts work. 60 fps from the game, reprojected to 120 Hz in the headset. The TV shows what the headset shows (not sure how PSVR shows this as it could potentially be a cropped image but now it mirrors the headset screen). Take the headset off and it pauses. The in-game controller follows your DualSense's rotation. Hold L1 and use the d-pad, circle and square to move it. No PS VR, camera or setup dialog needed. Option button recentres the controller.

Jailbroken PS5 13.60 with kstuff, your own CUSA12392 version 1.00 (EU, no updates) are needed. To install, send 'astrobotvr2.elf' to your payload loader, or add it to autoload. Tried to make it as easy as I can. The first start builds a few files from your own console's firmware. That's a one time thing.

Working on: hand tracking, so the controller sits between your palms. I've already got it running in PS5VR, so it's a matter of getting it working inside a PS4 game now.

Massive gratitude for the work from bigmak94 for AstroQuest. Their research on the game is the only reason I thought this was feasible. Wouldn't have attempted this without them.

If you hit a problem, grab `/data/astrobotvr2/agent.log` and open an issue on the site. I don't have the original PSVR so I'm hoping people can mention any bugs as this is the first build :) would help a lot. Shamless plug to my donation site on the site if anyone wants to support the work, would help a lot with web hosting fees, VPS server and time it took to make this work.

I know I was insanely lucky, twice lol. I really want the set but I feel like I need to quit while I'm ahead, again! I really want Jin though...

Spent too much on my son’s helmet that we ran out of time for the clothing part. He wanted it for his school trunk or treat event but now I have till Halloween to do a better costume and hide the electronics (electronics is to switch his eyes to different versions)

I wonder what should i change on my runs on Building Speed to get this time, i'm stuck on it since 2 weeks ://

Finally got this guy in the mail and put him together. I only wish Lego would make more!

Anyone picked up any of these Mystery Minis yet?

They are really cool!

I’m looking to do a trade with someone

I have 3 extra Dog Bots and 1 extra Duck Bot

I still need:

Fennec Fox Bot
Bear Bot
Rabbit Bot
Seal Bot
Squirrel Bot

I know there are a million PlayStation games in this game but I'm not familiar with this one 😞

Stumbled upon a complete box of 12 at Target today. It included both chase figures! Super pumped!

I pulled the God of War mystery bot and had to display it next to the custom Kratos bot I made a while back!

It's coming along nicely. Also it's to scale. Just need to print a few more parts and the side panels. Planning on using magnets to make the sides stay on.

I always forget that Astro has little wings and activates them whenever he hovers... 💙

Really reminds me of Buzz Lightyear!

This is my seventh time through the whole game however I didn't do the Great Master challenge every time I finished the regular game.

I DID do again this time and got through it this time in about ten tries.

But that damned Handhold Havoc probably took me 80-90 tries.

I am not good at the monkey hands thing (that and the blow up thing). I hated this level and I still haven't completed the speed challenge with the monkey hands this time.

On the Megamix again and got about halfway through relatively quickly and should finish it tonight, also quicker than that damned Havoc one which I hate.

I mean, as you could see that was a perfectly fine tackle. Who does he think he is… Neymar or something?

hii im neko, ik astro bot and asobi games for years but i need help completing the vicious void last level i forgot what’s its called boohoo, i haven’t played this game in years so someone please help pls and ty, luv yall xx!
