I've recently started a new job and unfortunately no longer have the time I once did to dedicate to my Snow White Bristlenose Pleco breeding operation. Rather than letting the operation sit underutilized, I've decided to sell the entire setup to someone who can continue breeding and developing these fish.
This is a complete, established, ready-to-breed operation featuring multiple proven breeding pairs, Longfin and Shortfin Snow Whites, Lemon Snow White gene carriers, Neocaridina shrimp colonies, grow-out tanks, shelving, and an extensive collection of spare equipment and supplies.
At the peak of my breeding operation, I was selling approximately 50–80 Snow White Bristlenose Plecos per month, along with hundreds of Neocaridina shrimp. I've spent considerable time developing these colonies, refining the breeding setups, and raising multiple generations of fish. While my production and sales have slowed due to work commitments, the operation has an established history of successful breeding. Historical sales are not a guarantee of future production.
Breeding Philosophy & Genetics
One of my priorities throughout this breeding project has been developing and maintaining strong, genetically diverse Snow White lines rather than simply maximizing production.
To accomplish this, I've incorporated Lemon Bristlenose Plecos carrying the Snow White gene into my breeding program. My goal has been to introduce and maintain genetic diversity within the breeding population while preserving the desirable Snow White characteristics.
Rather than exclusively breeding Snow Whites back to Snow Whites over successive generations, I've utilized these Lemon gene carriers as part of a selective breeding strategy intended to reduce excessive inbreeding and support the long-term health and viability of the line.
The operation includes both male and female Lemon Snow White gene carriers, along with established Snow White breeders and younger fish at various stages of development. This gives the next breeder flexibility to continue working with the existing lines and selectively develop future generations.

About the Operation
I've invested a significant amount of time into establishing these breeding colonies and developing a breeding program that balances production with genetic diversity.
The operation includes proven breeding adults, younger fish approaching breeding age, and juveniles at various stages of development. There is also plenty of spare filtration, equipment, and supplies to support future expansion or additional grow-out tanks.
With the shelving included, this is an opportunity to acquire an established breeding operation rather than starting from scratch.
I'm selling because my new job requires more of my time, and I can no longer give this breeding project the attention it deserves. I'd much rather see the colonies go to someone who is enthusiastic about continuing the work.
I'm looking to sell everything together as one complete package. I'm not interested in parting out individual fish, tanks, or equipment at this time.
