Hello,

From United States (Massachusetts). While in my basement i discovered this on the ground. I'd say it's about a half inch or almost an inch long. I have a feeling it may be snake poop, but want to ask others. Confused as to how it would've gotten inside my basement

Any ideas of what creature is making these tracks? Moth maybe?

Found this on my lease in southern ohio. Boot is an 11.5. Almost looks human but i’ve seen buck poop look similar.

In my Brooklyn, NY backyard. I leave a saucer of water for the critters. I have stray cats, raccoons and opossums. Someone has been pooping in this saucer every day/night. About 3-4” in diameter. Very gray. It started when the saucer was full of water and continued after I emptied it out.

Found this when de weeding my backyard, I took this quick picture before tossing it I didn’t want my mom to see (she has memory issues and really bad anxiety). I’m a woman’s 7.5 and it was a bit longer than my foot. I see a lot of squirrels and cats around, so I’m thinking one of them?

15-20 scat on floating dock in NW ontario. Crayfish parts visible and look to me like they probably make the majority of the diet. Just curious.

Follow up post, this is more scat in the general area that was found on a distinct trail. Presumably marking territory. I am also curious how old this stuff is being that its the desert with extreme heat and sun, I'd gather scat dries up quickly.

Mojave desert, just rained, Size 12 boots, the scat was found along a trail, presumably marking a territory. However, the picture of what seemed to be something that was obviously buried was very close to the trail of scat. not that there is very many areas to bury something easily in the rocky and boulder filled terrain. The footsprint was found way further up the trail maybe like half a mile. The other scats on the trail while I didn't get pictures were mostly hairy, not any seeds or plant matter that I can remember.

Found this on a fairly remote trail through a small river canyon in the Gifford Pinchot. In the half dozen or so times I've hike this area I've never seen scat from anything larger than a rodent and never seen anything larger than fishers and martins even though this area can have much larger mammals.

This was gray in a way I've never seen from bears or coyotes. I'm guessing cougar, but maybe a fat raccoon? No noticable berries, seeds, fur, or bones. Very little human presence for 10+ miles in any direction from this find. Berries have died off though mushrooms are at their peak and still trout in the river.

Main piece was around 4 inches long (probably 6" total) and a bit over 1" in diameter. No tracks or other scat found. Note that the bit beneath the longest piece in the first picture is stone. One long and two small pieces. All pretty uniform.

Was walking along Woodruff Wildlife Refuge when I stumbled upon these tracks. What left them?

woke up to this great gift right outside my patio door. Gated backyard, so whatever it was jumped the fence. Just outside GTA , Ontario Canada! Sometimes I see bunnies under the deck, so I think something was lurking around!

Maybe 9 inches wide? Not very thick/deep. No flies or anything on it. North Cascades, WA.

Can anyone share some insight? It’s about the size of my hand. We have black bears in the deep woods of central NB but I’ve never seen any in my area. Thanks in advance!

Noticed these brown pieces on the sofa today next to my snake plant. Are they mice poop or soil? It’s on the sofa headboard. We have not noticed any similar ‘droppings’ by the kitchen/counter.

1.5”-2” New York. Seems to be domestic dog but I can’t tell the distinct features.

Just found these marks on our maple tree. Looks like claws have shred the bark. Located interior BC. Some marks are 10cm appart some are 20cm?

Found this pile of poop at the local park in Newark, CA. Looks more like livestock poop than from a dog, but maybe a “shit ton” of raccoons? (Zing!)

I suspect beaver but it's pretty large for beaver turds. Maybe coyote? We have a ton of them around.

Can anyone id? Hand and fingers included for scale. Rural Central TX. Found all of these tracks this morning after my dogs were barking throughout the night. I searched around and found the poop nearby along a fence line, it has grasshopper legs, maybe a seed? And some other plant matter. May or may not be from the same animal(s), I’m not sure. This pasture only holds some cows
