Legal/Law related Cannabis smoker flying to Japan

• Upvotes

Hello everyone,

I'm sorry if this is the wrong community.

I'm someone from the Netherlands who smokes THC daily in my home country, which means THC stays detectable around 30 days in my pee. How often do tests happen in Japan? Did anybody every hear about someone getting tested, if yes where was this? Do you think tourist would get the same treatment or not?

I'm really worried, since technically smoking in my home country can land me in jail. Ill be going too Tokyo Kyoto Osaka.

Discussion Tokyo, 14 November: JIHE community day and the Japan-market discussion

I'm on the organising team at Asabis. For people here in Japan, the JIHE programme is now online: Saturday 14 November includes a session on overseas CBD/cannabis industry trends and what they mean for the Japanese market, alongside the hemp and CBD exhibitions.

Saturday is Community Day, 10:30–18:00 at House of OMOTESANDO, 5-34-8 Jingumae. General admission is free with advance registration. There is also a Business Day on Friday 13 November; the Friday evening networking event is separately ticketed.

Programme and registration: https://jihe.asabis.co.jp/en

If you're considering coming, I can answer practical questions here. Session times may change, so check the programme before travelling.

Discussion Concerns regarding bank statement

Edit: TIL about Amazon gift cards

So I’m planning a trip to Okinawa soon. My best bets seem to be buying online but the issue is the bank statement.. wife ain’t gonna be pleased if she sees “420” on my trip 😅

Was wondering if anyone else has been in my shoes? And if you have any suggestions??

Thanks in advance 🙏
