💖 Altnoids Japan Beginner’s Guide. *updated.

Welcome to [r/AltnoidsJapan](r/AltnoidsJapan).👍✌️💚😛

This is a community of nearly 5,000 people who enjoy legal cannabinoids in Japan. It is a positive and helpful space. Be civil, be kind, and don’t be a dick. If you don’t have something nice or constructive to say, keep it to yourself. If you have something critical but useful, say it politely. There is no need to belittle anyone for knowing less than you.

Rules (short version)

Legal cannabinoids only. No illegal content and do not ask about it.

Be civil.

No customer-service questions directed at vendors.

No talk about metabolite drug testing.

No low-quality or disturbing/explicit content.

Occasional light questions about legal alternative psychedelics are tolerated if they stay rare (roughly once a month maximum). For proper discussion go to [r/japanacid](r/japanacid).

How to use this sub

Most common questions have already been answered.

Before you post:

Check the sticky posts. There are dedicated stickies for Tokyo shops, the Osaka scene, and a regularly updated list of online stores.

Use the search bar.
Search by compound name, acronym, “pens”, “batteries”, city name, or whatever you need. A lot of useful information is already here.

Only make a new inquiry post if a proper search turns up nothing useful.

Direct vendor promotions are not allowed and will be removed immediately. User reviews and samples sent for review are fine and appreciated.

What are cannabinoids / altnoids?

Cannabinoids are compounds that interact with the body’s endocannabinoid system.
Altnoids (alternative cannabinoids) are hemp-derived or semi-synthetic compounds that produce effects similar to, but distinct from, classic THC.

DNG originally referred to CBD, CBN and CBG.
The “N” (CBN) has been illegal since 1 June 2026, so the old DNG label is now outdated. CBD and CBG remain legal.

Japanese legal landscape
Japan has some of the strictest cannabis-related laws in the world.

The rules change roughly every six months. This post will try to stay current, but always double-check the latest MHLW notices and this subreddit before buying or using anything new.

The Japanese market does not deal in K2, Spice, or similar full-agonist synthetic cannabinoids. You do not need to worry about those substances here.

Currently treated as legal / still circulating

CBD

CBG

H4CBD

H4CBH

HHBD

CBX

THCNM

CRDH / RDH
(and a few similar newer compounds that have not been designated)

Clearly banned / no longer available
CBN (banned since 1 June 2026)

HHC and most of its close analogues

THCP, THCH and related longer-side-chain compounds

THCO / HHC-O types

Classic THC itself

Many compounds listed in the old 2025 guide have simply disappeared from the market even if they were never formally designated.
Residual Δ9-THC limits still apply to all products:
Oils and powders: 10 ppm

Most other products: 1 ppm

Aqueous solutions: 0.1 ppm

Anything over those limits is treated as a narcotic.

A note on effects

Please stop comparing everything to THC.

Even though we are dealing with cannabinoids, the difference is more like wine versus vodka than the same drink in different strengths. What hits one person a certain way may not hit another the same. Approach every new compound with caution, start low, and give your body time to respond.

Final advice

If you are coming to Japan, planning to try a new product, or hear about something new on the market, check this subreddit first. The landscape moves fast.
Contribute when you can — honest product reviews are always welcome.

Enjoy the community. ✌️💚

Shop recommendations Tokyo Cannabinoid & CBD Shop Guide 🗼

I thought a few of you might find this useful, a list of physical store locations in Tokyo where you can pick up CBD and cannabinoid products.

I should be upfront though: I don't live in Tokyo and I've never personally visited any of these stores. This is just what I was able to put together after doing a fair bit of research.

I've done my best to make sure the information is accurate, but things change, stores move, close, or change their hours, so please double-check before making a trip.

If anything here is wrong, or if you know of a store I've missed that you think is worth visiting, please drop it in the comments below. This is meant to be a living resource, and your local knowledge is way more valuable than my Google searches. 🙏

Review Green Liquor Kiwi Strawberry THA [Advanced Hybrid] | Review

So this one is special because some have been waiting a long time, me included.

This product does NOT use the old THA formulation. THA used in this product is THCNM and the supplier is Cannaxport.

Kiwi Strawberry Contains -

Contains on this one is pretty straight forward with the main and honestly lone star being THA with 80% of it. Besides that they "only" use 10% of CRD. So when it comes to contains, this cart is a pretty straight walk through the park.

Kiwi Strawberry Flavour and Smoothness -

Green Liquor offers their "Advanced Hybrid" carts in multiple different flavours. They offer Alien OG, Kremlin OG, Peach Mango, and Kiwi Strawberry.
This review focuses on the Kiwi Strawberry and honestly flavour is not too bad. It definitely tastes fake, highly fake, however it does not taste bad. You can actually taste both the kiwi and strawberry (Some shisha places can't even do that and mixing tabacoo ain't that hard).

Smoothness wise, total charm this cart. Very butter going in, I can hit blinkers non stop as well, good hold and very clean exhaust. No rough feeling on the next, and honestly just a wee bit of dryness.

Rating -

rating scale goes from 1-10.

1 being "I may have gotten scammed" 10 is "Wow, this might actually be THE thing"

Head high: 9.5
Body high: 10
Entertainment: 10
Mental Shift: 10
Time scale : 9
Munchies: 9

Rating Breakdown -

Honestly I don't feel a need to break this down drastically. This is just THC but weaker, like the reports have already suggested.

The first signs of it hitting come within minutes, I'm not talking 15-30 like with HHBD or others. I'm talking literally sub 5 minutes before you feel the first impact. This product claims to be a Advanced Hybrid leaning towards an Indica feel, which 100% this is it. The moment you lay down, you stay down unless you motivate yourself to stand up. I'm talking the classic "I'm actually too chill to stand" high you get from some high grade indica flower. Head high is weaker however still a very much classic THC head high, at least for me. Random giggles, muted thoughts, anxiety gone (like actually had a bad weekend and this helped me just like THC did back home).

Effects last long too, with 6 Hits I was high for about 4-6 hours. With the headhigh being the first to quiet down.

I do want to say this, this is not a "fuck me up" cart. I can honestly compare this to some good grade (25-40bucks per G) flower. Its nicely balanced, not too much or too little. Also the fact its usually weaker makes it very easy to dose.

Fair warning, because this is basically just a modified THC structure and the effects on how it interacts are very similar. So you'll get the whole deal, dry throat, red eyes, slow head, forgetting shit, being a bit groggy (classical thc groggy) etc.

Final -

Do I recommend this cart? Yes.

I honestly say this is the cart you should go for if you don't trust names like CBX, THAH, HHBD etc.

I'm not a chemist but given how this structure is modified THC the effects and how it interacts with the body are a bit better to understand/guess then a CBX which could honestly have anything in it (its 98% safe but this is the reality of things). Also I've done my research for all the newer peeps here.

THA does not fall under any illegal substance structure and the modification done to THCNM are fully legal according to the MHLW.

Looking for a budget friendly vape

I have been to Chillaxy and CBD Hills in Shibuya. CBD Hills has given me the best products so far (I tried the Snoop OG H4CBH vape), but it is very expensive - over 10k. I am curious about trying HHBD from Buds Brains, whether anyone has tried it before, and whether there is another physical shop worth visiting. I'm looking into HHBD because I want more of a hybrid effect while I play guitar or do other creative stuff, and I want some euphoria but don't want to feel like a zombie for a week like the H4CBH made me. Thanks!!

Chillaxy HHBD Mango Kush Review

Post image
11 Upvotes

Hi Altnoids Japan, it's been a while!

God damnit they got me again. I always get tempted to stop by Chillaxy when I'm in Shinjuku. Today I grabbed their "EXTREMELY STRONG 60% HHBD 30% H4CBH Mango Kush" cart.

Price: 18,000 yen

Taste and Hit: The taste is mid as usual it's definitely mangoey but nothing real natural about it. I also grabbed a new battery so I popped it into that and set it to 3.0V it had a tiny bit of oomf to it when I took a few big drags, but didn't make me cough.

Experience: I have to say, while it's way too expensive, it's really damn good. I went for this over the THAH as I've seen mixed reviews on that so far and the employees there looked baked out of their minds and recommended it. This makes chillaxy 2/3 in my books, only had one boof cart from them thus far. (Post December 12 "CRDH" cart, the dark months, as I like to call that time.)

I haven't had any noids for a while, the last thing I smoked was real stuff when I visited home in America earlier this year. This is I think my first try with HHBD, don't believe I've had it before, definitely not my first rodeo with H4CBH however.

I took 5-6 big hits right at the store and chatted with the employees a bit. If you are not an experienced smoker, absolutely do not do this as I got absolutely blitzed in about 5 minutes. My buddy who hasn't smoked in a while took a 5 second puff as well.

I simply got baked, good sativa/indica combo and I honestly think I'd believe it's a real cart if someone handed it to me without telling me. My friend said he got lightly buzzed after about 10ish minutes and we had a blast shopping around Shinjuku and he got some new video games. We then got lost in the maze of construction redirects all over Shinjuku station right now 😭.

I also noticed that my back, which has been hurting a bit, feels significantly better on the way home, definitely some good pain relief from the H4CBH I'd imagine.

It's been a few hours now, still pretty baked, the staff said it'd last a good 4-6 hours lol. Got some super munchies and cotton mouth on the way home so I had to raid the konbini. I was gonna go for a drive tonight, but then this happened so that's cancelled as I'm couch locked at home now 🤣.

Honestly I am very impressed by this cart I guess I'll daily this one until it runs out or i get bored, then I probably won't get another for a while. Hope you all enjoy my quick review.

Gifted Review 🍒 ENHANCE YOUR LIFE — Cherry Bomb HHBD Liquid Review

Post image
5 Upvotes

🎁 Gifted Product Disclaimer: This product was gifted to me for review. All opinions expressed are my own honest and genuine thoughts, based on my personal experience. No gift will influence my review or rating.

Final Score: 92/100 — A (Excellent)

📝 TL;DR

Sometimes you don't need a cartridge that's going to blow your mind with flavor. Sometimes you just want something straightforward that does what it's supposed to do.

That's pretty much my experience with the Cherry Bomb HHBD liquid from ENHANCE YOUR LIFE.

The flavor is understated, the effects come on quickly, and the experience fades away cleanly without leaving me feeling groggy the next morning.

It's not the most exciting cartridge I've tried, but it gets the job done.

Final Rating: 92/100 — A (Excellent) 🍒

📋 The Basics

  • Brand: ENHANCE YOUR LIFE
  • Product: HHBD Liquid — Cherry Bomb
  • Format: 510-thread cartridge
  • Size: 1 mL
  • HHBD: 40%
  • H4CBD: 5%
  • CBG / CRD: 45%
  • CDT Terpenes: 10% Cherry Bomb
  • Price: ¥4,500

Formulation note: These percentages and ingredient details are taken from the retailer's product listing. The seller states that the product contains no CBN or THC; these claims have not been independently verified here.

⭐ Review Scores

Category Score
Effects 8/10
Flavor 6/10
Overall 92/100 — A

🍒 Flavor & Aroma

Let's be honest: flavor isn't the star of the show here.

The profile is fairly similar to the other cartridge I reviewed, although I get a little more strawberry or kiwi coming through with this one.

It's relatively understated rather than an explosion of fruit flavor. If you're looking for something that tastes like a bag of candy, this probably isn't going to blow you away.

But that's not necessarily a dealbreaker.

These cartridges are pretty bare-bones. You're getting a straightforward product without a particularly elaborate flavor experience.

The flavor does what it needs to do, but I wouldn't buy this one specifically for the terpenes.

Flavor rating: 6/10.

💨 The Experience

This is where things get more interesting.

Compared with the CRDP cartridge I reviewed previously, the overall experience feels similar, but it's definitely not identical.

The biggest difference I've noticed is the onset.

The effects come on faster.

The experience arrives relatively quickly, reaches a comfortable level of intensity, and then fades away cleanly. It feels more sativa-like to me than a typical hybrid experience, although that's simply my personal impression rather than a verified classification of its effects.

The intensity is comparable to what I experienced with CRDP, but the character of the experience is different.

I wouldn't describe this as a particularly complicated or groundbreaking product. It's a straightforward experience that does what I want it to do.

And honestly, sometimes that's enough.

⏱️ Onset, Duration & Comedown

  • Onset: Faster than the CRDP cartridge I previously reviewed.
  • Intensity: Similar overall intensity, but a distinctly different experience.
  • Fade: Effects taper off relatively quickly and cleanly.
  • Next-day effects: I didn't notice any morning grogginess or lingering fog.

The clean fade is one of the more appealing aspects of this cartridge for me.

I appreciate products that provide the experience I'm looking for without leaving me feeling rough the next day. That's my personal experience with this one, not a guarantee that everyone will respond the same way.

📊 Experience Profile

My main observations so far:

Trait Experience
Onset Fast
Effects 8/10
Flavor 6/10
Character More sativa-like to me
Fade Relatively quick and clean
Next-day grogginess None noticed
Overall impression Straightforward and functional

These are subjective observations based on my own experience, not laboratory measurements.

💰 Value & Practicality

At ¥4,500 for a 1 mL cartridge, this is a fairly straightforward option to consider.

What you're getting isn't an elaborate flavor experience or a particularly flashy presentation. It's a simple formulation built around HHBD, with additional cannabinoids and Cherry Bomb CDT terpenes.

For me, the appeal is the overall experience rather than the flavor.

I don't need every cartridge in my collection to be spectacular in every category. Sometimes I want something simple that delivers a predictable-feeling experience without unnecessary fuss.

That's where this product fits for me.

🏁 Final Verdict

ENHANCE YOUR LIFE's Cherry Bomb HHBD liquid is a straightforward cartridge that delivers a quick onset, a comfortable experience, and a clean fade.

The effects are similar to my previous CRDP experience in overall intensity, but the two aren't identical. This one comes on faster and feels more sativa-like to me.

The biggest weakness is the flavor. It's understated, and although I can pick out a little more strawberry or kiwi, it's not something I'd choose for an exceptional terpene experience.

But the product doesn't have to be spectacular in every category to be worthwhile.

Final Score: 92/100 — A (Excellent)

The good:

  • Fast onset.
  • Comfortable effects.
  • Clean fade.
  • No noticeable next-day grogginess for me.
  • Straightforward formulation.
  • Reasonable listed price.

The not-so-good:

  • Flavor is fairly basic.
  • Nothing particularly impressive about the terpene experience.
  • Not the best choice if exceptional flavor is your main priority.

Bottom line: This is a bare-bones cartridge that does what I want it to do. It won't knock your socks off with flavor, but the quick onset and clean fade make the overall experience worthwhile for me.

As always, individual experiences vary. Start cautiously, allow time to assess the effects before taking more, and don't drive while impaired.

Question about storing after removing the cartridge from the battery

Post image
2 Upvotes

I usually smoke and store the cartridge with the battery completely removed and the intake cap closed due to leakage or evaporation. Should I store it with the intake facing downward?
I would appreciate it if you could let me know whether it is okay to store it with the intake facing up as in the attached example, and whether a ziplock bag is necessary if there are protective caps on the top and bottom of the cartridge

Ordered my 2nd CBX dominant cart (I really really like this Substance --- and not bc it shares a similar name with my favorite kpop group) and G.M. Shop's CBX 50% premium is amazing.

As long as it makes music and other media sound good then I'm happy. And this definitely does that!

First, the shipping! I ordered this around 3pm, they shipped it by 5, i got it the next day around 2pm! I didn't expect it to be so quick!

I only smoke on weekends (with a total of 7-8 puffs/ BOLT & Cali Sativa), so my tolerance is ok, I'd say. For this cart, it smelled amazingly fruity and tastes great too! I started off on 3 puffs around 12 and started feeling the effects gradually build within the first 10 minutes. By the 25th minute or so, I got that, "When you're so high, it feels like you're wearing a hat" sensation, which I don't think I've felt since the US??

When I started to peak, boy did it feel amazing! I immediately put on my headphones and This is Halloween sounded like a musical masterpiece. 😭 (Which happens with almost every song I listen to 😭)

It started waning around 4:30/5pm or so--effects still there, but faint and mellow, so I took another 3 hits to ride out the rest of the day & watch Backrooms. (Which was actually a good movie and not that scary like I was expecting--- I almost died watching Jeepers Creepers 2 a few weeks ago while high 😭)

This is definitely going to be added to my favorites pile!

Thank goodness for Substances!

Blast from KushJP

So a while ago I posted about being pretty non-plussed about their Blast cartridge. Credit where credit is due though Bolt has them firmly back in my good books. I think it’s the best tasting and balanced cart I’ve tried certainly post CBN ban and possibly all time for me. Seriously if you haven’t tried it you need to it’s going to be a go to for me for sure. Kush10 code still works for 10% off.

Gifted Review Review: KNOCKOUT VOLCANO 2.0 SATIVA MIX

KO VOLCANO 2.0 SATIVA MIX — Mini Review 🌋💚

Okay, so I’ve been playing around with this one for a bit, and HOLY MOLY. 😂

Blend: HHBD × CRDB × H4CBD

Flavour: Blueberry Cookies × Snoop OG

Taste: 4/5 — Citrusy, a little herbal, with a lovely gassy blueberry finish. Mr. Jane says it tastes like Ramune. I don’t know what he’s smoking, but apparently we’re tasting two different things. 😂

Kick: 5/5 | Head High: 5/5 | Body High: 1/5
This one is ALL about the head high. The first 10 minutes? Not much happening. And then WHAMMO. On like Donkey Kong. 😂

Happy, squinty-eyed, properly stoned, but somehow still full of energy. I was getting things done, getting ridiculously absorbed in whatever caught my attention, and generally having a grand old time. My brain was definitely somewhere. Not entirely HERE, but somewhere.

Duration: About 2–3 hours for me, with a ridiculously smooth comedown. No couch lock, no sleepy crash, but definitely some munchies. Because apparently my stomach wanted to participate too.

Now, here’s my one gripe: Tolerance. Good grief, it seemed to build FAST. The first couple of sessions were glorious, but by my third proper go, the same amount wasn’t doing nearly as much. I’ve noticed this with other KO products too. Absolute fireworks at first, then considerably less bang unless I give myself a break.

Overall: 4.5/5 ⭐
When this one hits, it HITS. A wonderfully happy, heady, energetic little adventure. Just be careful with that sneaky delayed onset. Don’t go puffing away because you think nothing’s happening. Famous last words, friends. 😂

Anyone else tried this? Particularly curious how it compares to the regular Volcano 2.0 for folks who’ve tried both.

Looking for Sativa-style cart recommendations in Osaka (Budget: ¥20k)

Hi everyone,
I'm currently in Osaka and looking to pick up a solid Sativa-dominant cart for a daytime, uplifting vibe.
Reddit

My budget is around ¥20,000 (including a basic battery if needed, though mostly focused on a good cart/pod).
Since I’m looking for something energizing and functional for walking around the city, I’d love to get your recommendations on:
Specific strains/blends or brands currently available in Japan that give a nice Sativa feel (H4CBD, CBG blends, or other legal alt-noids).

Physical shops in Osaka (Namba, Shinsaibashi, Americamura, etc.) that you recommend visiting for good selection and helpful staff.

Review 🍒 CBD For QOL — CRDP Premium Cartridge: Cherry Bomb

Post image
9 Upvotes

Final Score: 86/100 — A- (Excellent)

CRDP Liquid CBG CRD/CBD/CDT... https://www.amazon.jp/dp/B0H4ZVLP8C?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share

TL;DR

A straightforward, no-frills cartridge with a natural, understated flavor and a relaxing, slightly spacey experience that doesn't leave me completely couch-locked.

I really like CRDP, and I'm genuinely disappointed to see it going away. Compared with HHBD, CRDP seems to work a lot better for me personally.

Around two hours of effects, no noticeable next-day grogginess, and an affordable price. This is the kind of simple product that keeps me coming back to CBD For QOL.

📋 The Basics

  • Brand: CBD For QOL
  • Product: CRDP Premium Cartridge
  • Profile: Cherry Bomb
  • Format: 510-thread cartridge
  • Size: 1 mL
  • CRDP: 50%
  • CBD: 20%
  • CBG / CRD: 20% as listed on the packaging
  • CDT terpenes: 10% Cherry Bomb
  • Reference price: ¥5,500

Specifications are transcribed from the product packaging. The price is from the reference listing and may change.

⭐ Review Scores

Category |Score
Effects |9/10
Flavor |7/10
Smoothness |7/10
Duration |9/10
Functionality |9/10
Enjoyment |9/10
Value |10/10
Packaging |10/10
Final Score |86/100 — A- 🍒 Flavor & Aroma

This is a standard-looking cartridge, and the aroma is predominantly hempy. There's a little bit of that Cherry Bomb character, along with a possible grape-like note that I can't quite pinpoint.

The flavor stays pretty consistent throughout the session.

One thing I appreciate is that it doesn't taste like I'm sucking on a candy vape, but it doesn't have that chemical taste either. It's a more natural, understated profile.

Not every cartridge needs to taste like a bag of sweets, and I'm perfectly happy with that.

The main thing to watch out for is temperature. I noticed a slight catch in my throat when the cartridge gets too warm, so keep an eye on that rather than letting it overheat.

💨 The Experience

One of the reasons I keep coming back to CBD For QOL is that their products are refreshingly straightforward.

They don't seem to go overboard with terpenes or unnecessary extras. It's more of a here's what's on the package, and that's what you get approach.

That's exactly what I like.

As for the effects, I find CRDP relaxing without being overwhelmingly sedating. I enjoy eating snacks, listening to music, and just chilling out while using it.

There's a slightly spacey feeling to it, but not to the point where I'm completely useless. If I've still got things to take care of, I can get them done.

It's that comfortable middle ground between wanting to relax and being glued to the couch.

I also prefer CRDP to HHBD based on my own experience. I'm genuinely disappointed that CRDP is going away, because this is the kind of effect profile I enjoy.

What I wanted was something for the evening that would help me feel good, wind down, and go to bed without waking up feeling groggy the next morning. So far, that's exactly the experience I've had with this cartridge.

The effects last approximately two hours, and I didn't notice any next-day grogginess.

Of course, everyone's experience will be different, but this one has worked well for me.

⏱️ Timeline

  • First impressions: Standard cartridge, predominantly hempy aroma, with subtle Cherry Bomb notes.
  • During the session: Consistent flavor without an overly sweet or artificial taste.
  • Effects: Relaxed, slightly spacey, and still functional.
  • Duration: Approximately two hours.
  • Next morning: No noticeable grogginess or lingering fog.

💊 Dosage Notes

I haven't recorded an exact puff count for this review, so I'm not going to make one up.

The main takeaway is that the effects give me a comfortable evening experience without becoming excessively heavy.

As always, start cautiously, allow time to assess the effects before taking more, and don't drive while impaired.

🍿 Snacks & Sounds

Snacks: Chips, pretzels, and candy.

Music: Didgeridoo house mixes.

Honestly, that's a pretty good combination for a relaxed evening.

📊 Experience Profile

Trait |Rating
Head High |8.5/10
Body Relaxation |7.5/10
Euphoria |8.5/10
Music Enhancement |9.0/10
Sleepiness |7.5/10
Couchlock Risk |3.5/10
Munchies |8.0/10
Creativity |7.0/10
Social |8.0/10
Functionality |9.0/10 These are subjective experience descriptors, not laboratory measurements. The higher functionality rating reflects my experience of feeling relaxed and slightly spacey without being completely couch-locked.

💰 Value & Versatility

Another big factor is the price.

At the reference price of ¥5,500, it's an affordable option to keep around. I also like using straightforward cartridges like this alongside other liquids in my DC 650 setup.

For example, I have a 7% Strawberry Banana CBX cartridge with CBD and CBG making up the rest of the blend. Having different cartridges available gives me flexibility in how I use my setup.

I don't need every cartridge to do everything. Sometimes a simple, affordable option that complements the rest of my collection is exactly what I want.

🏁 Final Verdict

I'd absolutely buy this again.

CBD For QOL continues to appeal to me because their products are straightforward and affordable. This cartridge doesn't need an overpowering flavor profile or a complicated formulation to be enjoyable.

The flavor is understated, the effects are relaxing without excessive couchlock, and the approximately two-hour duration makes it a good fit for evenings.

I especially appreciate that I didn't notice any next-day grogginess.

My biggest disappointment is the prospect of losing CRDP products. I personally prefer CRDP to HHBD, and this cartridge is a good example of why.

It's not the flashiest cartridge I've tried, but it does what I want it to do.

Final Rating: 86/100 — A- (Excellent)

✅ Pros

  • Relaxing without excessive couchlock
  • Comfortable, slightly spacey effects
  • Consistent, natural-tasting flavor
  • Approximately two-hour experience
  • No noticeable next-day grogginess
  • Affordable and versatile
  • Works well for my evening routine

⚠️ Cons

  • Slight throat catch when overheated
  • Flavor may be too understated for people who prefer candy-like profiles

Bottom line: A simple, affordable cartridge that suits my evening routine. I'll happily keep coming back to CBD For QOL as long as CRDP remains available.

This review reflects my personal experience and isn't a guarantee of the same effects for everyone.

Discussion What is actually in these?

TLDR: Being an Alt Canabanaught guinea pig is cool as shit and fun as fuck, but what are we doing/can be doing to reduce potential risk. And where can we find trustworthy information about how a substance is made and get more transparency on what’s in your cart?

Let me preface this by saying, I think alt noids are cool as shit, I am very glad there is access to them in Japan, and by no means am I trying to fear monger or detract from people’s enjoyment from them. I personally despise prohibition. I think that if any consenting adult that knows the risks involved. Decides they want to take a substance, they should be able to do that. In a perfect world they would have safe access to a pure form of that substance. But…

WE DO NOT LIVE IN A PERFECT WORLD

Recently I’ve been cutting back (literally going cold turkey) to help tolerance, and im also in a position currently that I pretty much need to functioning at 10000% max capacity and the hangovers are rough for me. The withdrawal symptoms are pretty intense compared to THC and feel a lot more physical. I have also had some very different and inconsistent experiences with the same 2 H4CBH and CBX carts recently, and it has made start to question what is in them.

CBX completely unrelated to my tolerance gives me focus and a slight head high, or straight up feels like a stimulant with 0 head high or euphoria. Sometimes my heat rate feels really high or irregular while not feeling anxious or overly stimulated, others times it’s totally fine.

H4CBH pretty consistent, always slaps with low tolerance, but damn do the hangovers and lethargy mess me up. I use it a few days In a row im pretty much a zombie.

Due to lack of regulation it is not 100 percent certain you are always getting what the package says to the tee. Im particularly suspicious of CBX because well, theres no such thing as CBX. I have found a decent amount of information about H4CBH, H4CBD, HHBD, etc. But from what I have seen nobody knows what CBX really is. Even if a vendor shows you the COA, they could still just be giving you a completely different product.

I remember seeing screenshots of buds brains bashing other shops selling CBX from a few months back, but now they just sell it like they never made a statement on it. Obviously there are trusted brands, and there doesn’t seem to be a lot of cases of people having permanent side effects from alt noids. But how does everyone rationalize taking multiple unknown, unverifiable substances on a regular basis. I personally say fuck it I know 1 session of (most likely) X substance iv’e done before isn’t gonna kill me.

But people DO get seriously messed up or die from research chemicals. And it really only takes like a handful of bad actors or incompetent synthesis to kill you. Which makes me slightly adverse from trying too many new brands/substances.

Also yes I understand that alt noids are different from spice, k2, or other research chemicals. But that still doesn’t change the fact that people can straight up give you something completely different. I mean it would never happened but you can literally smoke DMT from 510 carts.

Review Holy Trinity of CBX

Post image
14 Upvotes

I just wanted a catchy title lol. Ive tried the following 3 CBX carts so far and all of them were amazing with each cart having its own purpose for different occasions. Here's just my quick summary for each. I am not ranking them in no particular order.

Note* I tried the Gohoya's CBX cart when it was still 70% CBX.

  1. Bolt by KushJP

- Enjoyed it for gaming, walking around outside, video editing, and photo editting. It gets me in the zone to do an activity. I've even gone to the gym after smoking and felt great. Probably recommend this first for anyone who havent tried any of the 3 yet and wants a Sativa dominant cart.'

Con: The most expensive one out of the 3

- 11,980yen per 1ml compared to GL 8,500yen and Gohoya 9,980yen

  1. Sativa CBX Cart by Green Liquor

- Enjoyed it for music, movies, and tv shows. I wasn't couch lock but I wanted to be in the same place and just watch or listen to something. '

- Its also the cheapest out of the 3

Con: Less effective if you use it only a daily basis compared to the other 2

  1. CBX Strawberry Coff by Gohoya

- Enjoyed it for any occasion / daily use. To me, this cart depends on how you're feeling that day. If I have energy, I'd want to go outside or play video games. If I felt tired, I would just lay in my bed and watch videos. I've even taken naps after smoking this unlike the other 2 carts where I'm more active.

Con: The weakest out of the 3. I noticed I smoked way more with this than the others because the effect wears off quicker imo. Also, they changed the CBX percentage recently so I don't know how much difference it makes as I haven't tried to new one.

What CBX carts do you guys enjoy and recommend?

Not gonna lie folks, Osaka is my favorite city in Japan. 🤭 But how’s the altnoid scene?

This isn’t an exhaustive list by any means but it is an on the scene report about the shops I managed to check out on my most recent visit to Osaka.

Where do you think you’d be most likely to go? Did I miss any that you think I should check out next time?

Shop recommendations Good Chill Hachioji — A Little Old-School Smoke Shop Nostalgia 🇯🇵🌿

Thumbnail
gallery
22 Upvotes

I happened to be in Hachioji today taking care of some other stuff, so naturally I had to see what the local cannabinoid scene was like.

I stopped by Good Chill Hachioji, which is a sister shop to Chillaxy. I wasn't really going there with some huge plan. My main goal was actually pretty simple: I wanted to pick up a joint for my Weekly Roll-Up series.

I've tried Chillaxy/Good Chill products before, but only in the context of having a quick hit in a shop. I'd never actually bought one of their products to take home and properly try, so I figured this was a good excuse.

🏪 The Shop

The first thing that stood out to me was the atmosphere.

It's a relatively small shop, and it's dark, dimly lit, and packed with stuff. Glass pieces, vaporizers, accessories, clothing, cannabinoid products, herb, edibles, etc.

And honestly?

It gave me some serious nostalgia.

It reminded me of the old-school smoke shops I remember from growing up in America. You know the type of place I'm talking about — the shop where there's a bunch of completely normal stuff up front, but somewhere in the back is where you find the glass, grinders, bongs and all the other stuff that isn't necessarily advertised from the street.

Obviously, the cannabis market in America has changed dramatically. In a lot of places, you can just walk into a modern dispensary, look at a giant menu and buy cannabis like you're ordering anything else.

There's not really much mystery to it anymore.

Good Chill gave me a little bit of that old-school smoke-shop feeling, and honestly I really enjoyed it.

🌿 Product Selection

For a relatively small shop, they had a pretty good variety.

They carry both Good Chill and Chillaxy products, along with a bunch of the cannabinoids you'd expect to see in the current Japanese market.

The menu included things like:

• HHBD
• H4CBH
• H4CBD
• CBX
• Herb
• Edibles
• Various liquid options

They also had glass, vaporizers and the usual smoking accessories.

So whether you're completely new and need some help figuring out what you're looking for, or you're already experienced and walk in knowing exactly what you want, there's enough variety to make it worth browsing.

😂 The Language Barrier

My Japanese is... let's just say trash.

The staff didn't speak much English, and when I asked if they spoke English and they said no, I basically apologized and told them my Japanese wasn't very good either.

They laughed.

I laughed.

And somehow we just made it work.

We talked about different products, what I was looking for, and eventually I showed them my X account and some of my reviews and Weekly Roll-Up videos.

That was actually a pretty funny moment because you could see the conversation change.

At first, the staff was explaining the joint to me like I was somebody who had never tried anything before — how to smoke it, how long it would last, etc.

Then I showed them what I do and it was basically:

"Ohhh... okay, you know what you're doing." 😂

And I actually appreciated that.

It didn't feel like I was getting treated differently because I was doing reviews. They were friendly and helpful before they knew anything about me.

Once they understood what I was into, though, the conversation became much more casual and we just started talking about products and random stuff.

🥭 A Complimentary Hit

After we'd been talking for a while, the staff offered me a complimentary hit from one of their larger bubblers.

It was a mango Sativa liquid. I need to double-check the exact product name before I review it properly, but I can give a quick impression.

The flavor was good.

The mango terpene definitely came through, although to me it had more of a candy/artificial mango flavor than a really natural mango flavor.

It wasn't bad at all.

I actually think it could have been even better with a little more of an earthy/hemp note underneath it. Something to balance the sweetness and give the mango a little more depth.

That's just my personal taste, though.

I'll save the proper product review for another post.

🍋 And Then Came the Lemon Candy

I was getting ready to leave when the staff handed me a little lemon candy.

😂

It was such a small thing, but I loved it.

It's those little interactions that stick with me when I'm visiting shops.

I came in basically as a random foreigner wandering around Hachioji, my Japanese is questionable at best, and I ended up having a genuinely nice conversation with the staff, getting a complimentary hit and leaving with a joint for my series and a little munchie for the road.

Can't complain about that.

⭐ Overall

I think Good Chill is a good option whether you're new to the Japanese cannabinoid scene or you're already familiar with it.

If you're a beginner, the staff seemed knowledgeable and willing to explain things without making you feel uncomfortable for asking questions.

If you're more experienced, there's enough variety in the shop that you'll probably find something interesting to look at.

For me personally, though, the biggest thing was the vibe.

Small shop.

Dark lighting.

Psychedelic artwork.

Glass everywhere.

Cannabinoid products.

Accessories.

Friendly staff.

And that little bit of old-school smoke-shop nostalgia.

I originally went in just to grab a joint for Weekly Roll-Up.

I walked out with the joint, a complimentary hit, a lemon candy, and a pretty memorable interaction.

Good Chill Hachioji gets a 👍 from me.

Now I just have to smoke this joint and see what they actually put in the tube. 😂🌿

Gifted Review Sexy Dose - Premium Relaxation Drops

Post image
4 Upvotes

This is something I got from a Twitter giveaway a couple of months ago. I've had a few drops here and there, but I've never really taken note of the effects. I've had no noids for a couple of weeks, no alcohol for a few days so I'm a blank slate, so to speak.

20:50 - The website says a couple of drops, but I filled the dropper and just let that sit on my tongue for a while. It tastes nice, sweet and sugary, maybe a hint of citrus and honey? The website says Botanical Terpenes, but doesn't really give any indication of what's actually in it and I don't see a COA either. I think I read somewhere that it had CBD and CBG, but I think there has to be something else in it, just not sure what. It's marketed as a premium relaxation drop so we'll see.

21:06 - I think I can feel a slightly heavy feeling behind my eyes. Nothing crazy though, but a subtle shift into something.

21:11 - I'm starting to feel a bit warmer, maybe my knee is feeling a little better. There is definitely a slight blurring of the edges of reality, but not a lot.

21:39 - I had a bath and I can definitely feel something. A mellowness and the edges of reality are still slightly blurred but not in a baked way.

21:50 - cleaned the kitchen and sitting at my desk with a cup of lemon tea. There is the occasional feeling like lift-off is approaching, but it never really gets there. It's definitely relaxing, my sense of touch feels heightened and I do feel warmer. I can see how this might be good for sexy times.

22:07 - Eyes are heavy, but definitely not baked. Chill, mellow and relaxed, probably helps you get out of your head if you have trouble with your mind racing.

22:25 - Whatever this feeling is, it's plateaued. I'm just sitting here chilling watching an episode of Ghosts on Netflix.

Overall? It won't get you baked, but might help turn up the temperature in other ways.

Discussion HempKing THA

So with the whole THCNM stuff going on I've seen amazon try to push Hempkings 30/30/30 liquid harder then usually.

After checking the COAs I've noticed the COA for the THA Mix has CBN in it. Now I'm kinda questioning Hempkings validity as a Vendor. On their website their 35/35 THA liquid doesn't actually list THA as a COA photo.

Would you guys feel confident ordering this item? Additionally, would you think someone would've already snitched if it actually did have CBN in it?

I've seen a review state it feels different since the CBN law change but still smells a lot to me.

Edit: I think even if it doesn't have CBN in it having a misleading or wrong COA should be still a bit of a hmm moment.

Y'all opinons?

Review Review - Sativa CBX 40% HHBD 40% CBG 10% by Green Liquor

Post image
14 Upvotes

This was surprisingly a treat. I first found this brand on twitter and also saw someone posting on here asking about the brand so I decided to give them a try since I was interested in one of their carts.

Brand: Green Liquor

Name: Sativa- CBX 40% * HHBD 40% * CBG 10%

Price: Currently 8500 yen (1ml) but I bought it during a sale for 8000 yen

Flavor: Alien OG. Taste woody, it wasn't too strong and enjoyed it.

Duration: 3-4 Hours

Experience:

First time I tried this cart, it was around 20:00. I took 7 puffs with 8 second hold while watching a video. After smoking, I didn't really feel anything at first and even thought "this is it huh" so I proceeded to just continue watching my video.

After a few mins while watching, I started feeling the effects. I was getting more alert and focused while at the same time I started hearing "noises". You know the noises you hear when you kind of smoke too much and it starts hitting, kind of like a sonar noise. Once I started feeling the effects, I continued watching my vids. It's an interesting Sativa to me because I didn't feel like playing video games or going outside but rather just sit still and focus on listening to music or watching a movie. It's kind of like being "couch lock" but your focus lol '

After 40-50mins of being in the same spot enjoying my videos and music, I got up and played games. By this point, I knew the peak was probably done but I was still feeling the after effect of just being "chill". After 3 hours, I still felt a bit of the effect but I could basically go on with my day. I also didn't feel any slowness or tiredness the day after.

Final Verdict: I recommend trying this out for anyone interested in a sativa cart. Its suits well for people wanting to enjoy listening to music / movies imo. The effect doesn't last too long so you can continue to enjoy the rest of your day. Lastly, for 8000 yen this was a bargain and will definitely get this again
